Abstract: A variable mold includes a plurality of hydraulic pin systems. Each pin system includes a valve in fluid communication with a supply of pressurized fluid, a tubing in fluid communication with the valve, and a pin coupled to the tubing. The pin is configured to extend from the tubing in response to the supply of the fluid through the valve to the tubing. A longitudinal axis of each pin is mutually parallel and arranged in a two-dimensional array. The variable mold includes a controller operably coupled to the valves that can control the displacement of each pin. The variable mold may include a pin displacement detector configured to detect a displacement of each pin. The pin displacement detector is operably coupled to the controller. The controller can close each valve in response to the pin displacement detector detecting that the pin corresponding to the valve extends a predetermined distance.
Abstract: A mixing system for pigment dispersions, colorants, paints, and coatings, including a mixing or dispersion blade having a disc having top and bottom surfaces and an outboard edge, vanes circumferentially spaced around and extending from the outboard edge of the disc, each vane oriented non-horizontal to the top surface of the disc, and a wear-indicating notch in at least one of the vanes; and a tank, the tank including a paint, pigment dispersion, colorant, or coating.
Abstract: A user interface facilitates access to a computer resource by users having accessibility needs. In one implementation, the user interface comprises an assistance user interface (UI) provided as a supplemental UI presented in conjunction with the computer resource and which does not inhibit access to the computer resource. The assistance UI may include UI controls, such as hyperlinks or buttons, to facilitate user access to the computer resource. Particular UI controls and their configuration may be determined based on a category of the computer resource such that computer resources of a similar category have similarly configured assistance UIs or similarly named UI controls. Moreover, particular data features of a computer resource may be programmatically detected and utilized to generate the UI controls such that a particular UI control corresponds to a particular data feature.

Abstract: An interlocking disc includes a hub with an inner circular area with an inner thickness and a circular step. A plurality of petals circumferentially spaced apart extend radially outward from the outer area of the hub. Each of the plurality of petals are disposed within a common plane and include a catch on each of side of each petal. The catch is engageable to a circular stop of another interlocking disc to inhibit disassembly.

Abstract: A soybean cultivar designated 12310740 is disclosed. The invention relates to the seeds of soybean cultivar 12310740, to the plants of soybean cultivar 12310740, to the plant parts of soybean cultivar 12310740, and to methods for producing progeny of soybean cultivar 12310740. The invention also relates to methods for producing a soybean plant containing in its genetic material one or more transgenes and to the transgenic soybean plants and plant parts produced by those methods. The invention also relates to soybean cultivars or breeding cultivars, and plant parts derived from soybean cultivar 12310740. The invention also relates to methods for producing other soybean cultivars, lines, or plant parts derived from soybean cultivar 12310740, and to the soybean plants, varieties, and their parts derived from use of those methods. The invention further relates to hybrid soybean seeds, plants, and plant parts produced by crossing cultivar 12310740 with another soybean cultivar.

Abstract: A system for additive manufacturing of nutritional supplement servings includes a computing device configured to receive nutritional needs of a user, determine a nutritional input to the user, detect at least a nutrition deficiency as a function of the plurality of nutritional needs and the nutritional input, calculate at least a supplement dose from the plurality of nutritional needs and at the least a nutrition deficiency, select an ingredient combination as a function of the at least a supplement dose, wherein selecting further includes receiving a plurality of ingredients stored at an additive manufacturing device, wherein the plurality ingredients includes a plurality of supplement ingredients and at least a substrate ingredient and selecting an ingredient combination including at least a substrate ingredient and at least a supplement ingredient as a function of the nutritional deficiency, and initiating manufacture of a nutritional supplement serving at the additive manufacturing device.
Abstract: An infrared detection camera for the inspection of coated substrates. A corrosion sensing instrument is handheld, portable, battery powered, compact and lightweight. The camera performs nondestructive, real time imaging of corrosion and defects beneath painted metal or plastics or composite surfaces. The device includes a user-friendly computer interface for real time imaging and image storage capability and is typically used for detecting early stage corrosion beneath painted aircraft aluminum surfaces. The handheld device has a front “open air” imaging port which is designed to be placed in soft contact against the painted surface to be inspected by the instrument. The device includes an infrared camera and infrared lighting to capture an image of the surface. The captured image is transferred to a computer and analyzed to locate imperfections below a coating on a surface.
