  • Patent number: 12129987
Abstract: A landscape lighting fixture utilizes a cylindrical bollard shroud member which houses an electrical light source, e.g. an LED module. The shroud number extends upwardly from an elongated riser element. A vertically adjustable path hat support system affixed to a path hat circumscribes the shroud member, thereby allowing the path hat to be vertically adjustable in relation to the shroud member. The path hat and path hat support system can also be vertically adjustable along the riser element, without an attached shroud member. In either case, the adjustability of the path hat allows the lighting fixture to provide a wider or narrower light beam angle from the light source without adjusting the illumination from the light source.

  • Patent number: 12130791
Abstract: A method for modifying key-value pairs of a B+ tree is provided. The method receives a request to modify a particular key-value pair. Each node of the tree has a modification number. The method traverses a path on the tree from the root node toward the particular node. The traversing includes upon reaching a parent node of the path, acquiring a shared lock on both the parent node and a child node one level below the parent node. Upon determining that the child node is the particular node, the method stores the modification number of the particular node, releases the shared lock on the particular node, compares a current modification number of the node with its stored number, and acquires an exclusive lock on the node if the numbers are the same. The method increments the current modification number of the node and modifies it while in the exclusive lock.

  • Patent number: 12132780
Abstract: Some embodiments of the invention provide novel methods for performing services on data messages passing through a network connecting one or more datacenters, such as software defined datacenters (SDDCs). The method of some embodiments uses service containers executing on host computers to perform different chains (e.g., ordered sequences) of services on different data message flows. For a data message of a particular data message flow that is received or generated at a host computer, the method in some embodiments uses a service classifier executing on the host computer to identify a service chain that specifies several services to perform on the data message. For each service in the identified service chain, the service classifier identifies a service container for performing the service. The service classifier then forwards the data message to a service forwarding element to forward the data message through the service containers identified for the identified service chain.

  • Patent number: 12129964
Abstract: Techniques for delivering lubricant to a packing assembly of a fluid end of a reciprocating pump include delivering lubricant to a stuffing box that is housing a packing assembly or to a manifold disposed in or around the stuffing box. The lubricant configured to decrease friction between an interior surface of the packing assembly and a reciprocating component moving along the interior surface. Prior to delivering the lubricant to the interior surface of the packing assembly, the lubricant is diverted to multiple radial flow paths circumferentially spaced around a bore in which the packing assembly is disposed. The multiple radial flow paths lead to the interior surface of the packing assembly and the lubricant flowing through the multiple radial flow paths is metered at different flow rates based on a friction gradient across the interior surface of the packing assembly.

  • Patent number: 12130142
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a dynamic parameter server is provided in an ADV to update parameters of an autonomous driving system (ADS) of the ADV in real time without requiring the reboot of the ADS. The dynamic parameter server can obtain new parameters from a configuration file created by users based on their experiences and expectations. Each new parameter is mapped to certain physical conditions. When the ADV encounters the physical conditions mapped to a particular parameter, the dynamic parameter server can broadcast the new parameters to the ADS, which can use the new parameters to control the ADV. The physical conditions can be used as selection factors for the dynamic parameter to determine which ADS parameter to update.
