Abstract: A communication management resource associated with a wireless access point in a network environment allocates use of a wireless channel and sub-channels over time to multiple communication devices in communication with the wireless access point. For example, during use, from a first communication device of the multiple communication devices competing for wireless bandwidth, the communication management resource receives a request for allocation of wireless bandwidth to communicate over a wireless communication link with the wireless access point. Subsequent to receiving the request, the communication management resource identifies an appropriate amount of wireless bandwidth suitable to satisfy the request for bandwidth from the first communication device.

The assistant is further described that causes, in the modality, a signaling of the conversation with the user.
Abstract: Systems and methods for surfacing contextually relevant data into the workflow of a third party system are discussed herein. The system implements a near-real-time method of detecting activity corresponding to particular electronic health records associated with particular patients in third-party systems using specifically configured software systems. A cloud-based micro-services architecture is communicably coupled to the third-party systems and is operable to transmit contextually relevant data to the third-party system in response to particular detected activities, such as accessing a patient's electronic health record. The contextually-relevant data is identified by comparing electronic health record data from various third-party systems, each third-party system associated with the particular patient, to determine gaps in the records. The contextually relevant data is transmitted to the third-party system and visually integrated into the third-party system's pre-existing clinical workflow.

Abstract: An apparatus for performing an electrical test at a device is described. In one general implementation, an apparatus may include a memory, a receiver, and a processor. The receiver is configured to receive a test signal, convert the test signal into a digital test signal (bit stream) and store the digital test signal in the memory. The receiver identifies when a pre-defined number of bits of the bit stream are available in the memory. The processor is configured to perform a logic operation on the bit stream and a reference signal, generate a test result based on the logic operation, and determine whether the test result satisfies a condition. In some implementations, the processor may be configured to synchronize the digital test signal with the reference signal prior to performing of the logic operation.
Abstract: In one aspect, a method is disclosed for transporting an autonomous agricultural vehicle and an operator-driven agricultural vehicle from a first agricultural work site to a second agricultural work site. Each of the vehicles may have respective front ends and rear ends, and each of the respective rear ends may include a respective hitch. The method may include arranging the autonomous agricultural vehicle and the operator-driven agricultural vehicle such that the rear end of the autonomous agricultural vehicle faces the rear end of the operator-driven agricultural vehicle. The method may include coupling the hitch of the autonomous agricultural vehicle with the hitch of the operator-driven agricultural vehicle. The method may include towing the autonomous agricultural vehicle behind the operator-driven agricultural vehicle with the rear end of the autonomous agricultural vehicle facing a forward travel direction of the operator-driven agricultural vehicle.
Abstract: A frequency governing method for a processor includes reading power management information from the processor. The processor operates in an active state or one of multiple power saving states. The power management information includes first information indicating occupancy of a first core of the processor in the active state and second information indicating occupancy of the first core in a first power saving state. The method includes generating an effective utilization based on the first information and the second information. The method includes setting a target frequency by performing a selected action of a first action including increasing the target frequency and a second action including decreasing the target frequency with respect to a current frequency of the processor based on the effective utilization. The selected action is selected according to the effective utilization. The method includes instructing the processor to operate the first core at the target frequency.
Abstract: A high efficiency uniflow steam engine with automatic inlet and exhaust valves rather than camshaft operated valves includes an electromagnet and cooperating armature that actuates a cutoff control valve for closing a steam inlet valve at any time selected to stop the flow of steam to the cylinder. Approaching the end of the exhaust stroke typically 0.12 inch before TDC the cylinder is sealed thereby compressing the remaining residual steam down to a minute clearance approaching zero, for example, 0.020 inch to raise cylinder steam pressure enough to open the steam inlet valve without physical contact between the piston and the steam inlet valve thereby eliminating tappet noise, shock and wear.
Abstract: Disclosed optical mounts are resistant to the various stresses that may be experienced by optical display devices. An optical mount is provided with mechanical compliance and resiliency. Such mechanical compliance and resiliency associated with the disclosed optical mounts are intended to absorb thermal and/or mechanical stresses, while protecting and preserving the operational functionality of optical waveguides coupled to the disclosed optical mounts.

Abstract: A driver monitoring system for a vehicle and method of operating the driver operating system. The method, in one implementation, involves receiving a plurality of glance aim points for a driver of the vehicle; inputting the plurality of glance aim points into a predictive probability of distraction model to obtain a predictive distraction distribution; determining whether one or more informative glance locations are present in the plurality of glance aim points; comparing the predictive distraction distribution to a predictive distraction distribution threshold when one or more informative glance locations are present in the plurality of glance aim points; and alerting the driver when the predictive distraction distribution satisfies or exceeds the predictive distraction distribution threshold.

In some embodiments, a bracket may be configured to receive a processor and fasten the processor to the bracket. The bracket may be configured to mount the processor to a support structure. The support structure may be configured to receive an array of brackets. The support structure may be configured to be stacked in combination with additional support structures.
Abstract: A system and method to distinguish between a lane change and a turn of a vehicle as an intended movement of the vehicle based on a driver-initiated motion toward an adjacent lane that is adjacent to a lane occupied by the vehicle include obtaining input from one or more sources. The one or more sources include a sensor system or a communication system. The method also includes processing the input from the one or more sources to obtain indirect information that indicates a direction of travel in the lane adjacent or to obtain direct information specific to a location of the vehicle, determining whether the lane change or the turn is more likely to be the intended movement based on the indirect information or the direct information, and modifying an action of a vehicle system based on the determining whether the lane change or the turn is more likely.
Abstract: A method of predicting the health of and controlling a hydraulic pressure actuated torque converter lock-up clutch includes determining rotational input and output speeds of the torque converter. The method also includes determining a magnitude of the hydraulic pressure. The method additionally includes determining a level of performance of the clutch across multiple torque converter operating modes using the determined input and output torque converter speeds and the determined magnitude of the hydraulic pressure. The method also includes calculating a numeric state of health (SOH) coefficient of the clutch that quantifies a relative severity of degradation of a plurality of clutch characteristics across the multiple torque converter operating modes. Furthermore, the method includes executing a control action relative to the clutch when the calculated numeric SOH coefficient for specified torque converter operating mode(s) is less than a calibrated SOH threshold.
