  • Patent number: 10546030
Abstract: Non-limiting examples of the present disclosure describe low latency pre-web classification of query data. In examples, processing is performed where query data may be analyzed in a low latency manner that includes providing a vertical intent classification and entity identification for query data before a web ranking service processes the query data. Query data may be received. A vertical intent classification index may be searched using the query data. In examples, the vertical intent classification index may comprise a set of files that can be used to determine one or more candidate entity identifiers for the query data. The one or more entity identifiers may be ranked. The query data, a vertical intent classification for the vertical intent classification index and the one or more ranked candidate entity identifiers may be transmitted for processing associated with a web ranking service. Other examples are also described.

  • Patent number: 10546464
Abstract: This disclosure provides a wagering system associated with a first wagering facility, the system communicably coupled with a network and including a memory operable to store betting odds on a plurality of wagering events hosted by the first wagering facility. The system further includes a processor coupled to the memory and operable to receive a first bet on a particular event via the network, the particular event comprising at least one of the wagering events hosted by the first wagering facility. If a second bet is received within a predetermined period of time after the first bet is received, then the processor recalculates the betting odds on the particular event based upon both of the first bet and the second bet. If a second bet is not received within a predetermined period of time after the first bet is received, then the processor recalculates the betting odds on the particular event based upon the first bet.

  • Patent number: 10547675
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for online content sharing are provided. A computer-implemented method may include receiving an identifier of a video hosted by a content hosting platform from an external platform, the video being requested by a first user of the external platform, the first user having a first user account with the external platform. The method may also include determining that the video identifier comprises an attribution tag, and determining that the video was previously shared with the first user by a second user via the content hosting platform by analyzing the attribution tag, the second user having a second user account with the content hosting platform. The method may further include storing a record of the second user's sharing of the video with the first user in a data store of the content hosting platform.

  • Patent number: 10545855
Abstract: Tools and techniques are described to detect possible holes in automated testing of software under development. Full line coverage by tests does not necessarily indicate actual coverage of execution scenarios, e.g., condition coverage, decision coverage, and other kinds of execution scenario coverage may be lacking even when all source code statements are nominally covered. When source code changes are submitted, and corresponding test-sets remain unchanged, users are notified that adequate testing is not assured by the current test-set. Testing assurance code in a development tool chain may flag a pull request, test-set, or source code submission to indicate a lack of testing assurance. In some cases, an assurance-enhanced tool may require that new or different tests be provided with updated source code as a prerequisite for that source code to be accepted for inclusion in a repository or a build, for example.

  • Patent number: 10546412
Abstract: Methods and devices for rendering graphics in a computer system include a graphical processing unit (GPU) with a flexible, dynamic, application-directed mechanism for varying the rate at which fragment shading is performed for rendering an image to a display. In particular, the described aspects allow different shading rates to be used for different regions of a primitive based on a new, interpolated shading rate parameter. In other words, the described aspects enable the GPU to change shading rates on-the-fly between different fragments of each primitive. Additionally, or independently, the GPU utilizes each respective shading rate parameter to determine how many sample positions to consider to be covered by the computed shaded output, e.g., the fragment color, thereby allowing the color sample to be shared across two or more pixels.

  • Patent number: 10547654
Abstract: Described herein are techniques to enable a user to concurrently engage with live content and/or chat conversations of multiple conference sessions at the same time. The concurrent engagement is enabled within a single user interface. The user interface is configured to enable the concurrent engagement with live content and/or chat conversations of multiple conference sessions via an adjacent view (e.g., side-by-side, top and bottom, etc.) or a tabbed view. The live content can be configured for display in a first display region of the user interface. The chat conversations can be configured for display in a second display region of the user interface that is adjacent to the first display region. Consequently, a user is able to manage levels of engagement with live content and chat conversations of multiple conference sessions, and switch the levels of engagement to view and/or hear activity amongst the multiple conference sessions.

  • Patent number: 10544569
Abstract: A system and valve assembly that is adapted to increase the efficiency of an upstream water meter. By way of the valve assembly entrained water bubbles can be removed from a water supply. This, in turn, increases the density of the water running through the water meter. This ensures that the water meter is not inaccurately including entrained air as metered water. The result is more accurate water readings and reduced utility bills. The assembly can be externally adjusted using an adjustment tool so as to increase or decrease the tension on an interior spring which, in turn, increases or decreases the rate at which the interior block oscillates.
