  • Patent number: 10542990
Abstract: A surgical instrument includes a stapling head assembly with at least a portion of the stapling head assembly is configured to removably couple with a portion of a shaft assembly and a first locking feature. The stapling head assembly has a cartridge housing, a staple deck, a plurality of staples, a staple driver, a cylindraceous knife, and a drive member. The drive member is configured to receive a rotary drive element thereagainst and drive distal translation of at least one of the staple driver or the cylindraceous knife in response to rotation of the rotary drive element in a first direction. The first locking feature is operatively connected to the cartridge housing and positioned proximally from the staple deck and configured to be removably coupled against the portion of the shaft assembly for selectively coupling and decoupling the stapling head assembly relative to the portion of the shaft assembly.

  • Patent number: 10545775
Abstract: An application process can be executed based on an initialization instruction, where the application process includes instructions associated with a hook framework. A virtual machine configured to load the hook framework on the virtual machine based on instructions included in the application process can be initiated and the instructions associated with the hook framework can be executed upon initiation of the virtual machine to insert a hook on the virtual machine. A nascent process configured to initiate an additional virtual machine can be initiated based on a request to load an application, where the additional virtual machine is hooked via the hook inserted on the virtual machine.

  • Patent number: 10545682
Abstract: A system and method having accelerated data recovery in a clustered storage system is provided. The method may include generating an extent map of data having an original order, wherein the extent map associates the original order with a stored order of the data in a plurality of storage units coupled to a server node. After receipt of a request for data recovery of a subset of data, the method may further include optimizing data retrieval of the data to a minimum recovery time using the extent map. For static optimization, the server node can generate a second map indicating the stored order of each fragment of data to be sent prior to the data. Alternatively in dynamic optimization, the server node can send a qualifying identifier with each fragment indicating the storage location. Thereby, the client node is enabled to rearrange the data upon receipt to its original order.

  • Patent number: 10547674
Abstract: A system and method comprising: receiving network flow data; identifying a peer to peer network flow within the network flow data comparing the peer to peer network flow to a known peer to peer application flow; labeling the peer to peer network flow as the known peer to peer application flow when the peer to peer network flow matches the known peer to peer application flow; and creating a data set to be associated with the labeled peer to flow.

  • Patent number: 10545247
Abstract: A computer system for calculating traffic speed using sparse data. Sensors provide location data, over time, for a sampling of vehicles on the road network, such as a fleet of vehicles. This location data from a sampling of vehicles is sparse with respect to both road segments in the road network and time. From the location data, the computer system generates sample data associating speed of sampled vehicles on the road segments to points of time in a plurality of time slots. The computer system accesses other information that defines correlations among different road segments and among different time slots. The computer system derives at least an average vehicle speed for each road segment in the road network for at least the current time slot using the correlation data and the sparse sample data. The computer system can inter traffic volume from average vehicle speeds, and then compute environmental data.

  • Patent number: 10546179
Abstract: A list of possible mated minutiae in a reference fingerprint and a search fingerprint is identified. The list of possible mated minutiae is divided into different groups of mated minutiae using pose grouping based on rigid transformation parameters. For each group, the possible mated minutiae are filtered to get a set of consistent mated minutiae pairs having similar rigid transformation. The topological consistency between groups is determined. If any two groups are topologically consistent to each other, they are merged to form a (virtual) larger group. A non-linear transformation parameters are estimated from the the mated minutiae in the merged group. The overall similarity of mated and non-mated minutiae in the overlapping area is determined after non-linear alignment of the two fingerprints, and the maximum similarity is output as the final similarity score between two fingerprints.

  • Patent number: 10546132
Abstract: In one implementation, a static analysis system can include an operator engine to identify a modification operation on a string based on a structural comparison of program code to a static analysis rule, a label engine to maintain a label with the string based on the static analysis rule, and a sink engine to identify that the label denotes a string property and provide an analysis message associated with the string property based on the label.

  • Patent number: 10546055
Abstract: A computing device is provided comprising a processor configured to select at least one pair of elements, including an element in a source column of the first table and an element in a target column of the second table. The processor may detect that the elements are in different formats. For at least one element, the processor may apply a predetermined mapping to a common format. The processor may modify at least one element to have the same format as the other, and may generate an example including the modified pair. The processor may programmatically generate a script that, when performed on the selected elements, produces a value consistent with the example. For the script with output matching the elements of the target column, the processor may convey the output for display, and may join the tables at least in part by performing the script on the source column.
