Abstract: A self-adjusting holster includes first and second shell portions having opposite side panels extending substantially parallel to each other. At least one of the first and second shell portions having a bottom panel. The side panels of the first shell portion and side panels of the second shell portion are configured to telescopically mate such that the mated shell portions slidably adjust relative to each other in a first direction and together define an interior space and an open end opposite the bottom panel. An elastomeric member is configured to bias the shell portions toward each other along the first direction. An item inserted into the open end between the first and second shell portions displaces the shell portions relative to each other against biasing force provided by the elastomeric member.

In one implementation, a method of visualizing a deposit at an automated teller machine includes receiving a command to deposit at least one depository element; determining an amount associated with the command; displaying, on a transparent surface of the automated teller machine configured to allow a user of the automated teller machine to view the at least one depository element, a visual representation of the determined amount; and receiving, concurrent with or after displaying, a verification of the amount.

Abstract: The secure management of attachments is described. In one example, a message is received by a device management computing environment from a client computing device. The message can include an addressee list, a resource locator to a file, and a schedule associated with an event, for example. The message is intended for distribution to a number of other client devices along with the file according to the addressee list. However, the file is not directly attached to the message. Instead, the distribution of and access to the file is managed separately and securely by the device management computing environment. The device management computing environment can cause the file to be accessible through the client devices using the resource locator based on the schedule associated with the event. Further, after the event, the device management computing environment can cause the file to be inaccessible and/or removed from the client devices.

Abstract: Arrangements for controlling a climate control system are provided. A hazard detector of a group of smart devices may detect a carbon monoxide (CO) alarm condition at the hazard detector. The hazard detector may transmit, via a relatively low-power mesh communication network, an indication of the CO alarm condition to one or more other smart devices. A spokesman node of the relatively low-power wireless communication network may translate the indication of the CO alarm condition from a first wireless communication protocol to a second wireless communication protocol. The spokesman node may transmit the indication of the CO alarm condition to a system controller via a relatively high-power wireless communication network and the second wireless communication protocol. A system controller of the climate control system may transmit a signal to turn off at least part of the climate control system.

The inlet chamber is defined by an exterior wall of the inlet housing and at least one in interior wall disposed within the inlet housing. The resonator chamber includes an insulation material, an exterior wall region, and an interior wall wherein the insulation material is disposed between the interior and exterior walls. The interior wall defines at least one aperture and divides the resonator chamber from the inlet chamber. The insulating material is configured to attenuate sound waves.

Abstract: Systems and methods for dispersing an optical beam are disclosed. In one implementation, an optical system includes a first double Amici prism and a second double Amici prism. The first and second double Amici prisms are aligned along an optical axis of the system and configured to transmit the optical beam. At least one of the first and second double Amici prisms is rotatable relative to the other around the optical axis. Advantageously, the disclosed systems and methods allow for efficient and versatile adjustment of the magnitude and/or orientation of the dispersion of the optical beam.

Abstract: A composition for treating skin pigmentation, a method of forming the composition, and a method of treating skin pigmentation are disclosed. The composition comprises at least one pharmaceutically acceptable additive. The composition further comprises at least one melanin production inhibitor, which may be a depigmentation agent. The melanin production inhibitor is present in an amount effective to inhibit melanin production in human skin cells of a subject that is administered the composition.

Abstract: A multi-panel video wall and system is disclosed having a computer with a memory or access to a public or private cloud containing a video file and a processor for executing the video file and a plurality of video display screens interconnected to one another and to the computer via wired or wireless transmission, each of the plurality of video display screens configured to work together to display a video content generated from the video file that extends across all of the plurality of video display screens. Upon user interaction or detection of a user, one or more of the plurality of video display screens seamlessly transitions away from the video content to display a separate video content for interaction with the user.
