Abstract: A data-storing method for accelerated read throughput of a channel received as part of a multi-channel data stream includes writing a first channel segment of the multi-channel data stream to a first continuous sequence of physical blocks along a first data track of a storage medium within a storage device and identifying a second channel segment of the multi-channel data stream as being a continuation of the first channel segment. The method further includes writing the second channel segment to a second continuous sequence of physical blocks along a second data track responsive to the identification, the second continuous sequence of physical blocks being offset from the first continuous sequence in a down-track direction by a minimum block offset, the minimum block offset representing at least a number of physical blocks on the storage medium that rotate below a read/write element of the storage device during a time that the read/write element is moved from the first data track to the second data track.

Abstract: The present technology relates to a data processing device, a data processing method, and a program capable of realizing low cost of a reception device receiving a GSE packet conforming to DVB-GSE. An sGSE packet structuring unit sets, as a target, only a PDU (Protocol Data Unit) of which a maximum size is restricted to a predetermined restriction size equal to or less than 4096 bytes and structures an sGSE packet which is a GSE packet in which the PDU is deployed in a data field and which conforms to DVB (Digital Video Broadcasting)-GSE (Generic Stream Encapsulation). The present technology is applicable, for example, when the GSE packet is transmitted or received.

The band has a first portion secured to the housing and a second portion extending within the first slot of the housing. The actuating member is seated at the housing and has a surface interfacing with the first locking feature. A plurality of mating features each extend outwardly from the surface of the actuating member and the plurality of mating features are spaced about a circumference of the surface of the actuating member. The actuating member is configured, when actuated, to move the second portion of the band relative to the housing. The first locking feature is configured to consecutively engage one of the plurality of mating features when the actuating member is actuated.

Abstract: Generally discussed herein are methods, systems, and apparatuses for tracking user interaction with sponsored and/or unsponsored content. A method can include receiving a tracking event packet including data fields comprising a packet identification, a tracking event identifier, a content identifier, a cost, a campaign identifier, and/or an advertiser identifier, determining whether the tracking event packet is a duplicate based on the packet identification, aggregating non-duplicate tracking event packets by advertiser identification such that packets with advertiser identifications that hash to a same value are aggregated together, and transferring aggregated tracking event packets to a first database and a second database, the first database includes data stored for analytics and the second database includes data stored for billing and campaign performance monitoring.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a novel approach to displaying spreadsheets on mobile devices (e.g., cell phones, tablets, etc.) so that they are more easily viewable by the user. Aspects of the present disclosure provide multiple different views of a spreadsheet and simple transitions among those views. The multiple views facilitate the display of important aspects of a spreadsheet and optimize the spreadsheet viewing area. In particular, deck and card views are disclosed, wherein each view corresponds to a different display format of the spreadsheet. Furthermore, editing the spreadsheet data is also provided within these views.

Abstract: Content pre-render and pre-fetch techniques are described. In one or more implementations, a likelihood is predicted of subsequent navigation to content associated with a network address based at least in part on monitored navigation performed by a computing device to one or more network addresses. A determination is then made whether to cause the computing device to pre-fetch and pre-render the content based at least in part on the prediction.

Abstract: A saddle for an aquatic board is disclosed. The saddle is equipped with a strap or straps and/or edge wise clamps, or other suitably firm fastener, to engage and maintain position on the aquatic board positioned beneath the saddle. A user can then stand on the board and squeeze the saddle between their knees and ankles and maintain an enhanced balance on the board or, if fatigued, can sit or kneel alongside or on the saddle and paddle/ride from a seated or kneeling position. The saddle may be inflatable or solid and may include an inner void for storage for personal effects or equipment. The saddle may further include a speaker, cup holder, handles, or other optional features.

Abstract: Message prioritization may be provided. First, a message may be received and a priority level may be calculated for the message. If the message is not rejected for having a priority lower than a predetermined threshold, the message may be placed in a first priority queue. Next, the message may be de-queued from the first priority queue based upon the calculated priority level for the message. Distribution group recipients corresponding to the message may then be expanded and the priority level for the message may be re-calculated based upon the expanded distribution group recipients. Next, the message may be placed in a second priority queue. The message may then be de-queued from the second priority queue based upon the re-calculated priority level for the message and delivered.

Abstract: Provisioning a user account. A method includes, at a local entity contacting an identity system to begin user account provisioning. The method further includes receiving from the identity system a correlating factor related to a verification code sent to the user from the identity system. The method further includes receiving from the user, profile information entered into the local entity, where the profile information is to be stored in the user account. The method further includes receiving from the user the verification code corresponding to the correlating factor. The method further includes sending the correlating factor, user entered verification code and the user entered profile information to the identity system, where the identity system determines that the verification code properly correlates to the correlating factor, and as a result provisions the user account and stores the profile information in the user account.

Abstract: Example embodiments of systems and methods for data transmission system between transmitting and receiving devices are provided. In an embodiment, each of the transmitting and receiving devices can contain a master key. The transmitting device can generate a diversified key using the master key, protect a counter value and encrypt data prior to transmitting to the receiving device, which can generate the diversified key based on the master key and can decrypt the data and validate the protected counter value using the diversified key. In an embodiment, the transmitting device can signal an attack or potential attack through the counter value. The attack signaling can further include information relating to the attack or potential attack.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus for capturing multiple views of a subject are provided by the disclosure. In one example embodiment, a system or apparatus can be mounted above a production set or subject in a scene, such as mounting the system or apparatus to a ceiling of a room. The system or apparatus can include at least 3 cameras mounted to respective vertical rods extending from a central rotatable plate mounted to the ceiling. As the rotatable plate is moved, each of the vertical rods and associated cameras can rotate about the production set or subject in a generally circular shape. When some or all of the 3 cameras are activated, simultaneous images and/or video of the production set or subject in the scene can be captured, wherein some or all of the cameras capture respective simultaneous images or video lacking the other two respective cameras in the scene.

Abstract: A method and apparatus include attaching a lighted cup holder to a seating arrangement. The lighted cup holder includes a cup holder body and a light-producing light source, with the cup holder body being attached to the seating arrangement and having a cup receptacle therein, the light-producing source being disposed within the cup receptacle for illuminating the receptacle. A light-sensitive element operatively connected to the light source selectively controls production of light by the light source in such a manner that illumination of the cup holder is provided only under conditions where visibility is reduced to the point that it becomes difficult to locate the cup holder. The light-sensitive element is mounted on a master lighted cup holder and controls illumination of the master lighted cup holder and one or more slave lighted cup holders operatively connected to the master lighted cup holder.
