Abstract: A wireless device sends, to a network, a message indicating an enhanced steering of roaming (SOR) capability for network access information for one or more non-public networks (NPN). The wireless device receives, from the network, network access information comprising an identifier of a first NPN and a condition for whether the wireless device is allowed to access the first NPN. The wireless device sends, to the first NPN and based on the condition being met, a registration request message.
Abstract: Techniques described herein relate to methods and systems for managing backup operations. The method may include receiving a request to perform a first backup operation for a first virtual machine (VM); making a first determination, using a vProxy preference map, that a first vProxy is assigned to the first VM based on a backup capability associated with the first vProxy; making a second determination that the first vProxy is not available to perform the first backup operation; making a third determination, based on the second determination and using a vProxy information database, that a second vProxy is available to perform the first backup operation based on the second vProxy being associated with the same backup capability as the first vProxy; and performing the first backup operation using the second vProxy.

Abstract: The disclosure provides for use of steganographically-encoded data as a basis to disambiguated a fingerprint-based channel-multimatch. A fingerprint-matching server or other entity could detect a channel-multi-match scenario by determining that query fingerprints representing media content being rendered by a content presentation device match reference fingerprints respectively representing multiple channels. In view of that detected channel-multi-match scenario, the content presentation device could then provide channel-identification information that the content presentation device extracts from a watermark that is steganographically encoded in the media content of the channel that the content presentation device is rendering, for use of the extracted channel-identification information to determine which channel the content presentation device is rendering.

Abstract: An external protective interface is provided for intravenous infusion lines, drive lines, vacuum lines, and monitoring lines for percutaneous access. The interface acts as an airtight seal in concert with a vacuum line to promote accelerated tissue healing to reduce and prevent infection at insertion sites for infusion lines, drive lines, and medical devices. The interface provides additional mechanical stability to an implanted tube or PAD or so as to speed healing around a semi-permanent implanted tube or PAD, as well as connection points for vacuum lines and at least one drive line for the insertion of medical devices. The dense fibroblast ingrowth encouraged by the interface acts to strengthen barriers to infection at the insertion site.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides computer-implemented methods, systems, and devices for generating media content pages for live events at scale. A computing system accesses media data associated with a live event. The computing system customizes media data for one or more user groups. The computing system selects one or more page templates from a plurality of page templates based, at least in part on the customized media data. The computing system generates one or more content pages based on the customized media data and the one or more page templates. The computing system provides the one or more content pages to one or more user computing devices.

Abstract: A system and method for expediting fulfillments of online ordered dual-commerce available deliverables of networked supermarket deliverable providers (NSDPs), by a customer of a NSDP expedited service area (ESA) providing sequenced deliverable pickup fulfillments within specified limited-time periods, and/or by delivery fulfillments made to specific locations, as selected in a website or mobile application user interface associated with a NSDP accessible via a personal wireless communication (PWC) device or handheld PWC device. Designated ESAs and/or designated workstations or bays adjacent robotic deliverable fulfillment secure enclosures, located within, adjacent, or nearby, respective NSDPs provide deliverable pickup fulfillments more quickly to scheduled ESA-visit customers than NSDPs provide to non-ESA customers.
Abstract: A method, apparatus and program product may evaluate a packaging material to determine various metrics associated with the packaging material. A test apparatus may be used to evaluate packaging material using a take up drum capable of sensing containment force imparted upon the drum by packaging material applied thereto, and in some instances, simulated flaws may be formed in a web of packaging material to evaluate a packaging materials response to such flaws when under tension.

Abstract: A system for a vehicle includes a vehicle processor disposed to control a drive system, and a memory for storing executable instructions. The vehicle processor is programmed to execute the instructions to determine, via the vehicle processor, a localization of a mobile device using a tethered wireless connection between the mobile device and the vehicle, receive, via the processor, an absolute heading of the mobile device, determine, via the vehicle processor, based on the localization of the mobile device, a relative bearing angle from the mobile device to the vehicle. The system may use the tethered wireless connection and the relative bearing angle from the mobile device to the vehicle to determine that a user is actuating a Human Machine Interface (HMI) element indicative of user attention to a remote parking maneuver and complete the remote parking maneuver.

Abstract: A nuclear power system includes a reactor vessel that includes a reactor core mounted therein. The reactor core includes nuclear fuel assemblies configured to generate a nuclear fission reaction. The nuclear power system further includes a chemical injection system configured to inject a chemical into the reactor vessel and remove the chemical from the reactor vessel, and a control system communicably coupled to the chemical injection system and configured to control a power output of the nuclear fission reaction. For example, the control system can determine that the power output is greater than an upper value of a range or less than a lower value of the range and, based on the determination, adjust an amount of the chemical injected into or removed from the reactor vessel by the chemical injection system to adjust the power output.

Abstract: A hearing normalization and correction system and process provides accurate correction for users with mild to moderate hearing loss by using actual measured hearing response at multiple sound pressure levels. User measured hearing data is collected at considerably higher resolution and accuracy at multiple sound pressure levels and is automatically converted to multiple accurate correction responses. Dynamic adaptive cross-fade response correction is used to deliver hearing normalization at varying sound pressure levels. Adaptive release response allows the hearing normalization system to accurately track the envelope of the incoming audio signal providing greatly enhanced accuracy and transparency. Adaptive headroom control is also applied to increase both input and output headroom providing professional dynamic range performance. The hearing normalization and correction system delivers audio fidelity and performance transcending that of normal hearing aid technology.
