Abstract: A technology is disclosed for automated risk analysis for the deployment of software component updates in complex microservice architectures. Dependencies and versions of deployment situations in test setup environments and in a target environment are analyzed and compared to identify a version delta between tested and production deployments. Further, test results for test deployments are used to identify and remove unsuccessful test setups. Successful test setups are ranked according to extend of their version delta against the target environment and one of the successful test setups is selected according to a deployment strategy. After a test setup is selected, a deployment plan considering service versions and dependencies is generated that guarantees a tested and functional state of the target environment after each deployment step.

Abstract: Various aspects and embodiments are directed to a graphical user interface that organizes interface elements into views of computer content for presentation to a user. Different views of are used to provide an interface that is responsive to configurations of the device and activities performed by the user. Aspects include permitting the user to transition the device from one configuration to another during its use. The elements that comprise the graphical user interface are configured to present a summarized view of available actions and content to simplify user interaction. The different views present different organizations of the interface elements and in some examples display only certain modes of content in order to reduce the number of options a user must navigate. Methods and systems for streamlining user interaction with computer content are also provided. Streamlining includes, for example, pre-configuring a user device based on received information.

Abstract: Systems and methods for adjusting for delay asymmetry between clocks in a communication network. Disclosed systems and methods may adjust data in one or more Sync and Delay Response Messages sent using the Precision Timing Protocol (PTP) based on one or more averages made of timing information in those Sync and Delay Response Messages.

Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of strawberry plant (Fragaria x ananassa) named ‘CBC015’ is presented here. This new short-day strawberry cultivar is characterized by moderate vigor plants which produce exceptionally large carly yields of attractive conical fruit. In addition, plants of ‘CBC015’ are resistant to Macrophomina phaseolina.

Abstract: An advanced oxidation process system and associated method includes a device with a housing having a wall with a first side exposed to water of the swimming pool or spa and a second side opposite from the first side. The device additionally includes an ultraviolet lamp within the housing. In some embodiments, an electrical ballast for an ultraviolet generator may be attached to the second side of the wall and in thermal contact with the wall. In certain embodiments, an end cap may be attachable to and removable from the housing, and the ultraviolet lamp may be supported by the end cap and positionable within the water chamber.

Abstract: In some examples, an apparatus for video decoding includes receiving circuitry and processing circuitry. The processing circuitry receives, from a coded video bitstream, coded information associated with one or more blocks in a current picture, the coded information indicates that a cross-component sample offset (CCSO) filter is used for decoding the one or more blocks. The processing circuitry determines one or more features associated with the one or more blocks, the one or more features is used as a context for signaling a value associated with the CCSO filter. The processing circuitry determines at least a signaled value associated with the CCSO filter based on a context model, the context model using the one or more features as a context, and reconstructs samples in the one or more blocks based on at least the signaled value associated with the CCSO filter.

Abstract: A support framework for modules that pivotally mount optical fiber management trays. The framework is configured to mount the modules in a simplified manner. According to certain embodiments, frame members of the framework can be connected to one another in a simple, cost effective manner that does not require rivets or other separate fasteners. According to certain embodiments, some or all of the frame members of the framework can be constructed of a polymeric material, providing for a relatively light weight and cost-effective framework. The framework can form part of a fiber organizing assembly at a distribution location of a fiber optic network.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a rolling suitcase that is pulled depthwise rather than breadthwise, and incorporates a split handle that separates when the suitcase is to be opened. The split handle may incorporate a locking mechanism that includes a mechanical, magnetic, or other connector for locking and releasing the split handle halves. The suitcase maximizes internal volume by the use of inset wheels and handle extensions, and also provides for protections against many common types of breakage.

Abstract: Examples of the present disclosure describe systems and methods for providing textual summaries based on personalized prior knowledge. In examples, a user request for a summary of document or an entity is received. The document or documents associated with the entity are separated into segments and semantic embeddings are created for each segment. The semantic embeddings, a context of the user request, and relevant information available in the requesting user's previous knowledge base are provided as input to a personal knowledge system. Based on the input, the personal knowledge system outputs an indication of the segments that should be summarized. The indicated segments are provided to a summarization system. The summarization system generates a document summary or an entity summary and provides the summary to the user.

Abstract: Methods and systems are described herein for facilitating distributed job execution without a central job scheduler. The system may cause a container to, prior to executing job execution code for a job associated with a job data record, update a record instance of the job data record to indicate an updated status for the job and attempt to update the job data record at a database based on the record instance of the job data record. If the container successfully updates the job data record, the container may execute the job execution code for the job. If the container fails to update the job data record, the container may refrain from executing the job execution code for the job. The system may then update a first job data record associated with a first job at the database based on execution of the first job by a first container.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for controlling a three-phase electric motor by determining a duration of current measurement windows within a first pulse width modulation period for measuring motor current using a single shunt coupled to the motor. A duration of a first one of the current measurement windows can be adjusted by a time delta value to meet a minimum time to measure the motor current. A next PWM period can include compensation for the time delta value. In embodiments window adjustments are made by modifying the high state of a middle phase signal for phase signals to switches that energize the motor.

Abstract: Implementations of semiconductor packages may include: a first substrate having two or more die coupled to a first side, a clip coupled to each of the two or more die on the first substrate and a second substrate having two or more die coupled to a first side of the second substrate. A clip may be coupled to each of the two or more die on the second substrate. The package may include two or more spacers coupled to the first side of the first substrate and a lead frame between the first substrate and the second substrate and a molding compound. A second side of each of the first substrate and the second substrate may be exposed through the molding compound. A perimeter of the first substrate and a perimeter of the second substrate may not fully overlap when coupled through the two or more spacers.

Abstract: There is provided an apparatus and method, the apparatus comprising an antenna system to communicate with a further antenna system. The apparatus includes computation circuitry to calculate a timing advance, restricted to a predefined range, to be applied by the further antenna system, to modify a transmission time for uplink data corresponding to a sub-frame relative to a reception time for downlink data corresponding to the sub-frame at the further antenna system. The computation circuitry is configured to estimate a round trip time, when the round trip time is within the predefined range, to set the timing advance based on the round trip time, and when the round trip time is outside of the predefined range, to set the timing advance to a value within the predefined range, wherein a difference between the value and the round trip time is based on a duration of one or more sub-frames.

A dampener is configured to dampen said pivoting movement, wherein the dampener has a resilient bumper having an annular shape which is compressed at the first end of said pivot range.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a non-destructive testing system including a tablet without modular, interchangeable inspection cards for performing inspections with different end effectors and/or performing different types of inspections with the same end effectors. The modular, interchangeable inspection cards are easily removable and attached to a external rear face of the tablet, or inserted into a port extending into the tablet.

Abstract: An automated system for assembling a framed article including a plurality of canvases and a plurality of assembled frames to be combined with the plurality of canvases to form the framed articles. Each assembled frame is formed of a rear panel and a frame member that are detachably attached to one another with one canvas being stretched across a front face of the frame member. The automated system includes an assembly station including a movable presser head that is configured to detach and lift the rear panel from the frame member and a plurality of movable side guide fingers that are configured to fold side edges of the canvas over sides of the frame member to permit the presser head to press the rear panel down over the folded side edges of the canvas into engagement with the frame member with the canvas being captured between the frame member and the rear panel.

Abstract: This system can be a combination of hardware and equipment, software, training methodologies, data feedback loops and methods of instruction and activity so that physical and mental stimulation for recovery of neurologic and neuromuscular impairments can be quickly designed and implemented to promote neuroplasticity. This system involves evaluations and individualized training prescriptions that are automatically and continuously modified according to changes in the patient's performance measures. This system also includes assistance, instructions, and biofeedback that can accompany training for maximal voluntary activation of the central nervous system to promote greater functionality. This system can also train involuntary activation by using electrical or magnetic stimulation. In one embodiment, this system is not passive, but rather directly targets the nervous system that can meet the patient at their current ability levels.
