Abstract: The present invention provides systems and methods for use with electronic records, such as Electronic Medical Records (EMRs). A parser engine may receive a stream of Health Level 7 (HL7) messages containing EMR data and, using parsing logic, parse the HL7 messages to identify and extract specified EMR data therefrom. The extracted EMR data may be combined with analytic results data and presented via a trackerboard with refresh and writeback capability, to a medical professional or medical staff member, in real time or near real time relative to entry of the EMR data into an EMR system.

Abstract: Wireless communications can be improved through a Fresnel lens. The Fresnel lens can be integrated into or onto nonconductive material adapted to serve an alternative useful function (e.g., tent, decorative screen, curtain, umbrella, window tinting film) having at least one surface and that is comprised of the nonconductive material. The Fresnel lens supported by the nonconductive material is configured to improve wireless communications by communication equipment located near the Fresnel lens by increasing signal to noise ratio (SNR) ratio in wireless communication links.

Abstract: Techniques for performing sequential data enrichment are presented herein. In some examples, a data enrichment system includes an input pipeline and a set of enrichment routines. In some examples, a datagram is retrieved from the input pipeline and an enrichment type associated with the retrieved datagram is determined. In some examples, after determining the enrichment type that is associated with the retrieved datagram, the datagram is processed by the enrichment routine that corresponds to the enrichment type to determine an enriched datagram. In some examples, the enriched datagram is stored in the input pipeline, which can enable determining a new enrichment type associated with the enriched datagram or storing the enriched datagram in an output pipeline if it is determined that the enriched datagram is not associated with any enrichment types.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for providing cybersecurity functionality to computer implemented inventions such as Internet of Thing (IoT) systems and object devices, and more specifically, to an improved cybersecurity system, method and capabilities for the protecting IoT and similar devices through non-discriminatory vendor/supplier independent distribution of secure predetermined IoT syndication data to unidentified and non-registered IoT devices, through the use of a passive data distribution technology and out-of-band, system-to-device distribution channel and no peer-to-peer stateless relationship with the receiving device and using Quality of Service (QoS) and enabling the determination as to whether there is any suspicious activity occurring and prohibiting the IoT device from taking any customer-defined action without have a separately provided authentication.

Abstract: A skin environment management system is provided that controls environmental conditions on a portion of skin of a subject. The system includes a dressing that includes a skin interface, a dressing base attached to the skin interface, and a cover reversibly-openable and connected to the dressing base to together define a volume. The cover sealable to the skin interface, and the dressing is configured to be positioned over the portion of the skin, the dressing defining an environment in the volume surrounding the portion of the skin. The system further includes a pump in fluid communication with the environment by a first tube, the pump configured to apply a reduced pressure vacuum to the environment, and a controller configured to dynamically control operation of the pump. A dressing for use with a skin environment management system is also provided.

Abstract: A method, system, and computer-program product for identification of digital content using a meta-content identifier construct are disclosed. The method includes obtaining a meta-content identifier construct (where the meta-content identifier construct comprises information), identifying one or more digital content constructs, determining one or more parameters, and producing one or more results by retrieving digital content using the one or more digital content constructs. The one or more digital content constructs are identified, at least in part, using at least a portion of the information. The retrieving comprises filtering the digital content, and the filtering uses the one or more parameters.

Abstract: A rotation mechanism for an umbrella comprises a vertical columnar (1), a rotating shaft (2), a ratchet (3) having a plurality of ratchet teeth (30), a magnet block (4) a pressing assembly (5), a limiting room (10); wherein the magnet block (4) is movably located inside the limiting room (10); when the ratchet (3) rotates in a first direction, the magnet block (4) departs from the ratchet teeth (30); when the ratchet (3) rotates in a second direction, the magnet block (4) is attached and magnetically attracted to the ratchet teeth (30); the pressing assembly (5) is connected to the rotating shaft (2) and presses against the two side surfaces of the ratchet (3). The present application also discloses an umbrella comprises the rotation mechanism. The structure is simple and it is easy to assemble.

Abstract: A fantasy sports interleaver may include a video segmenting device to create a plurality of video clips, a clip annotator to associate each of the plurality of video clips with at least one of achievement of an athlete, and an interleaver to associate and transmit at least some of the plurality of video clips to each of a plurality of users. The interleaver may interface with a fantasy sports platform hosting the fantasy team of the user, as well as incoming audio/video feeds from content providers, and content feeds from advertisers. Users may be prompted to predict an outcome of an event, such as a number of fantasy points that an athlete will earn in a sporting event.

Abstract: A variable range bow sight mounting assembly for an archery sight includes an elevation bar for connection with a bow and a mounting bracket configured for adjustable connection with the elevation bar. The mounting bracket contains a channel configured to receive an extension bar for sliding movement of the bar relative to the mounting bracket. The elevation bar contains a plurality of spaced openings with which the mounting bracket may be selectively connected to vertically position a sight aperture at the remote end of the extension bar as desired by the archer.

Abstract: A can seaming apparatus comprising a frame, a can handling assembly and a can seaming assembly. The frame has a bottom end and a top end, an upper mounting plate and a lower mounting member. The can handling assembly has an upper chuck and a lower chuck, the upper and lower chucks configured to releasably retain a can and top therebetween. The can seaming assembly includes a roller frame with a first and second roller, wherein the first and second rollers are directable into contact with the can and top while being retained by the upper and lower chucks. The upper chuck is fixed to an axle that extends through the upper mounting plate, and is rotatably coupled to the upper mounting plate. The axle extends beyond the upper mounting plate and structurally configured to be free from obstruction sufficient to allow a for the operable attachment of a chuck of a power tool. Abstract: A rope, a system and a method for measuring one or more properties of a rope. A property evaluation system for ropes can be deployed for a number of different applications including, but not limited to, moving lines, e.g., crane or winch and static lines, e.g., mooring lines, stays, etc., to evaluate physical properties of the ropes and, in some cases, to help evaluate structural health of the ropes. A sheave assembly (10) may transmit a signal into a rope (14) to measure at least one property of the rope. At least one sensor (25) may be coupled to or assembled in the rope to measure at least one property of the rope.

Abstract: In some examples, a system may receive, from a user device, a user request for a storage operation related to storage of data at a storage. An update may be added to an update queue to persist the storage operation prior to sending a response to the user device indicating performance of the storage operation. For instance, adding the update to the update queue may include sending a request to cause the update to be added to the update queue based on specifying a type of the storage operation and/or a state to be achieved by the storage operation. Additionally, information about the update may be sent to another processor for adding the update to another update queue managed by the other processor. Subsequently, the update may be obtained from the update queue and processed to perform the storage operation.

The system may include a radome configured to allow electromagnetic waves to propagate; a multi-band software defined antenna array tile; a power and clock management subsystem configured to manage power and time of operation; a thermal management subsystem configured to dissipate heat generated by the multi-band software defined antenna array tile; and an enclosure assembly. The multi-band software defined antenna array tile may include a plurality of coupled dipole array antenna elements; a plurality of frequency converters; and a plurality of digital beamformers.

Abstract: The presentation invention relates to methods and apparatus for communicating data in communications networks. An exemplary method in accordance with one embodiment includes the steps of: establishing a first Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) session between a wireless base station and a Cable Modem Termination System (CMTS); receiving via the first TCP session at the CMTS a first set of TCP data packets from a cable modem located on a communications path between the wireless base station and the CMTS, the first set of TCP data packets having been sent by the wireless base station; and determining, by the CMTS, whether to send an Acknowledgement (ACK) message or a Negative Acknowledgement (NACK) message to the wireless base station for the entire first set of TCP data packets based on verifying a subset of TCP data packets of the first set of TCP data packets.

Abstract: A weight measuring hitch ball assembly is described. The assembly can include a hitch ball having a ball and a lower portion. The assembly can also include a body portion defining a hitch ball opening that slidably receives the lower portion of the hitch ball. The assembly can further include a load measurement device operably associated with the body portion and the hitch ball to determine a magnitude of a force acting on the hitch ball. Additionally, the assembly can include a retention coupling operable with the hitch ball and the body portion to secure the hitch ball to the body portion. The retention coupling can have a retention protrusion and a retention wall defining at least a portion of a retention opening operable to receive at least a portion of the retention protrusion therein. With the retention protrusion extending into the retention opening, the retention wall can provide a mechanical barrier to the retention protrusion that prevents removal of the hitch ball from the hitch ball opening.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for access node selection, and optimization of antenna direction and performance, within a power-limited system. In one embodiment, the system utilizes “quasi-licensed” CBRS (Citizens Broadband Radio Service) wireless spectrum in conjunction with a controller that dynamically adjusts antenna direction for receiving/transmitting information at an installed fixed wireless apparatus (FWA) at user or subscriber premises. In one variant, the FWA receives data on candidate access nodes (CBSDs), and includes controller logic that compares received power levels for candidate access nodes with the power levels estimated from path loss models, and optimizes antenna azimuth to maximize the antenna gain towards the selected access nodes. As such, service calls to optimize antenna performance after initial installation are not required, and network operating expenses are thereby reduced.

Abstract: A method and system for detection of malicious network resources in a distributed computer system are provided. The method comprises: receiving, by a first computing device, disposed inside the distributed computer system, an outbound traffic, detecting, by the first computing device, a suspicious external IP address in the outbound traffic, scanning, by the first computing device, a suspicious device located at the suspicious IP address to obtain a list of services running thereon, transmitting, by the first computing device, the suspicious IP address and the list of services to a second computing device disposed outside the distributed computer system, comparing, by the second computing device, the list of services with known malicious services, and in response to a match between at least one service from the list of services and a respective one of the known malicious services: determining the suspicious device, at the suspicious IP address, as being malicious.

Applying the trained attribute prediction machine learning model to additional event information to predict, for content, a future attribute estimate, a future attribute change estimate, or both.
