Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture to correlate a demographic segment with a fixed device are disclosed. An example method includes accessing a record indicating a public Internet Protocol (IP) address used by a fixed device. A monitoring data record received from a mobile device is accessed. A demographic segment of a user of the mobile device is determined. The mobile device is associated with the fixed device when an IP address of the mobile device from the monitoring data record matches the public IP address used by the fixed device. The demographic segment of the user of the mobile device is associated with the fixed device based on the association of the fixed device and the mobile device.

Abstract: Novel tools and techniques for are provided for implementing a hybrid spectrum access system and access probe framework. A system includes a base station coupled to a network, a spectrum access system, and user equipment coupled to the base station and the spectrum access system. The user equipment is configured to transmit, to the base station, a first network access request following a first access sequence while transmitting signals under a first power limit. If no response is obtained from the base station, the user equipment is configured to transmit a second network access request above the first power limit, but under a second power limit. The user equipment is configured to obtain spectrum access from the spectrum access system and transmit a second network access request to the base station.
Abstract: Apparatus and methods of artificial intelligent based provision of digital content where and when the digital content is needed based upon where an agent is located and a purpose for accessing the content. A location of a user seeking to access the digital content may be used that enables access to the content. Persistent digital content is linked to location coordinates. A physical onsite location may be linked with digital content to enable provision of a user interface with augmented reality that combines aspects of the physical area with location specific digital content. In addition, access to digital content may be limited to users in defined access areas.

Abstract: A network edge device includes a local network interface, a remote network interface, a memory and a processor. The local network interface receives data from local data sources over a local network. The remote network interface communicates with a remote computer over a remote network. The processor receives a filter parameter set for each local data source from the remote computer. Each filter parameter set includes a data rate parameter and at least one of a minimum threshold parameter, a maximum threshold parameter or a change-of-value (COV) parameter. For each local data source, the processor compare each data value received from the local data source to at least one of the filter parameters, and sends the data value and subsequent data values to the remote computer at a data rate that is based on the data rate parameter.
Abstract: Implementations of the disclosure provide a method, system and computer program product for model localization. In an implementation of the disclosure, a method for model localization includes parsing a model to identify translatable terms, generating a seed file associating each of the translatable terms with a corresponding tag and replacing each translatable term in the model with a corresponding tag and submitting each of the translatable terms to machine translation for a target language to produce a different translation file mapping each tag from the seed file with a translated term in the target language of a corresponding one of the translatable terms. Then, the model may be deployed in a data analytics application using the different translation file to dynamically translate each translatable term into a corresponding translated term within a user interface to the data analytics application.
Abstract: An apparatus for detecting an open neutral condition in a split phase power system is described. The apparatus includes two powered lines providing output electricity to an electrical distribution system and a shared neutral line providing a grounded neutral to the first and second powered lines. The apparatus is configured for detecting when an open neutral condition is present in the split phase power system by determining when a power current is present on one or both of the first and second powered lines while a return current is not present on the neutral line; and in response to detecting that the open neutral condition is present, causing an interrupter to interrupt the power supplied by the first and second powered lines or to generate a signal indicating an open condition.
Abstract: Aspects of the technology relate to assisting a passenger in an autonomous vehicle without a driver. For instance, after a door of the vehicle is opened, a predetermined period of time may be waited by processors of computing devices of the vehicle. After waiting the predetermined period of time and when the vehicle's door remains open, a set of instructions for closing the vehicle's door may be played by the processors through a speaker of the vehicle. Once the door of the vehicle is closed, an announcement may be played by the processors through the speaker requesting that the passenger press a first button to initiate a ride to a destination. In response to the first button being pressed, the ride to the destination may be initiated by the processors by maneuvering the vehicle autonomously to the destination.

Abstract: Disclosed embodiments include systems, vehicles, and methods for tracking off-road travel. In an illustrative embodiment, a system includes a computing device having computer-readable media storing computer-executable instructions configured to cause the computing device to monitor a vehicle location. The vehicle location is identified on map data for an area encompassing the location and including road data for recognized roads in the area. Off-road travel is detected in response to determining that the vehicle location is outside of the recognized roads. Travel data is recorded representing the off-road travel of the vehicle.

Abstract: A method comprising performing simulations to determine energy transfer between the bulk fluid motion of gases through a combustion chamber and resonant acoustic modes of the combustion chamber using a simulation model. The method also comprises configuring one or more combustion chamber parameters for the simulation model to shape the resonant acoustic modes to diminish coupling between the resonant acoustic modes and driving mechanisms at a head portion of the combustion chamber and to enhance coupling between the resonant acoustic modes and damping mechanisms at an aft portion of the combustion chamber. The method further comprises determining whether the combustion chamber meets a predetermined performance level in response to determining that the combustion chamber meets a predetermined combustion stability level.

Abstract: A plenum assembly configured for electrophysiology assays, such as patch clamp techniques, includes one or more ground electrode assemblies. Abstract: A working control module of a woodworking tenoning machine is configured to work a wood material in a desired tenoning shape by using a human machine interface (HMI). The working control module contains: a tool selection module, a tenoning shape selection module, a model calculation module, a three-dimensional (3D) drawing module, a working path module, a feeding module, a working module, and a material returning module. Thereby, the user is capable of selecting the desired tenon shape, inputting the at least one characteristic variable of the desired tenon shape to draw, view or amend the 3D model by using the HMI of the working control module. After confirming the 3D model, the wood material is worked in the desired tenon shape automatically, thus enhancing working efficiency and working accuracy.
