Abstract: Methods, systems and apparatus for error correction of fermionic quantum simulation. In one aspect, a method includes representing a fermionic system as a graph of vertices and edges, where each vertex represents a fermionic system fermionic mode and each edge represents an interaction between two respective fermionic modes; allocating a qubit to each edge in the graph to form a qubit system; determining qubit operators that satisfy a set of fermionic commutation and dependence relations, where the qubit operators are non-uniform with respect to the graph vertices; determining stabilizer operators corresponding to products of quadratic Majorana operators on respective loops in the graph, where a common eigenspace of the defined stabilizer operators defines a code subspace that encodes states of the fermionic system to be simulated; and simulating the fermionic system by evolving the qubit system under a qubit Hamiltonian that includes the determined qubit operators and stabilizer operators.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for capturing, communicating and using image data to support virtual reality experiences are described. Images, e.g., frames, are captured at a high resolution but lower frame rate than is used for playback. Interpolation is applied to captured frames to generate interpolated frames. Captured frames, along with interpolated frame information, are communicated to the playback device. The combination of captured and interpolated frames correspond to a second frame playback rate which is higher than the image capture rate. Cameras operate at a high image resolution but slower frame rate than images could be captured with the same cameras at a lower resolution. Interpolation is performed prior to delivery to the user device with segments to be interpolated being selected based on motion and/or lens FOV information. A relatively small amount of interpolated frame data is communicated compared to captured frame data for efficient bandwidth use.

Abstract: A prosthesis for placement within a native heart valve preferably includes an expandable frame having locking tabs disposed along a proximal end. A plurality of distal anchors is disposed along a distal end of the frame. Each distal anchor is provided with a cushion cover. An outer fabric member surrounds the frame and may extend outwardly from the frame in an expanded condition for providing an improved seal in the region of a native annulus. A valve body is positioned within an interior of the expandable from for allowing blood flow in only one direction. In preferred embodiments, the cushions are positioned over enlarged head portions of the distal anchors for further reducing trauma on surrounding tissue.

Abstract: A shoulder assembly for mounting on a tire building drum is provided that includes a plurality of sections configured to interlock with another to form a shoulder ring to be mounted on a tire building drum when the tire building drum is in an expanded state, and a plurality of magnetic elements provided about a surface of the shoulder ring that is configured to contact a side of the tire building drum. The magnetic elements correspond to holding magnetic elements in the tire building drum. The shoulder ring is configured to maintain contact with the tire building drum during forming of a tire carcass, and the shoulder ring is configured to maintain its shape and stay with the formed tire carcass when the tire building drum is collapsed.

The control information for controlling the motorized window treatments may be stored and/or accessed to understand how the motorized window treatments are operating. The control information may indicate a control state and/or a position of the covering material when an identified daylight intensity is being received at the space. The control information may inform a user of the operation of the motorized window treatments and allow the user to adjust various control parameters by which the motorized window treatments may be controlled. Recommended adjustments may also be provided to the user based on a user-identified problem with the operation of the motorized window treatments. The recommended adjustments to the control parameters may be accepted by the user and may be stored for being accessed and/or edited.

Abstract: An autonomous truck loading system can have a database that stores a plurality of elementary behaviors for various phases of a process of loading the autonomous truck by the one or more loaders. The stored elementary behaviors can include predetermined maneuvers for the autonomous truck, sensing behaviors; and logic behaviors. An operator can select multiple ones of the stored behaviors via user interface. A controller can assemble the selected behaviors together into an operation script for loading of the autonomous truck by a loader. The controller can control the autonomous truck to perform the operation script.

Abstract: The subject disclosure relates to solutions for reducing or eliminating motion sickness experienced by a vehicle occupant/passenger. In some aspects, a process of the disclosed technology includes steps for collecting motion data associated with a vehicle using one or more environmental sensors, tracking eye movements of a user within a cabin of the vehicle, processing the motion data and the eye movements to identify a motion event, and generating a motion compensation signal based on the motion event. Systems and machine-readable media are also provided.

When the busyness score for the ATM does not exceed the busyness score threshold, the system may cause the ATM to present, via a first graphical user interface, a default ATM experience. When the busyness score for the ATM exceeds the busyness score threshold, the system may cause the ATM to present via, a second graphical user interface, a busy ATM experience.

The computing device may add a synchronization event to a queue for replicating the first object to the first remote bucket and the second remote bucket. Based on consuming the synchronization event from the queue, the computing device replicates data and metadata of the first object to the first remote bucket and the second remote bucket.
