Abstract: A unitary deck installation device is disclosed having first, second and third members joined together. All three members have a first end and a second end, a first side and a second side, a first surface and a second surface, a thickness measured between the first and second surfaces, a width measured between the first and second sides, and a length measured between the first and second ends. The first end of the second member is secured to the first end of the first member and extends perpendicularly outward from the second surface of the first member. The first end of the third member is secured to the second surface of the first member and extends perpendicularly outward therefrom. A pair of spaced apart holes is formed through the third member and each of the pair of holes has a diameter large enough to allow a fastener to pass therethrough.

Abstract: Techniques for implementing IOMMU-based DMA tracking for enabling live migration of VMs that use passthrough physical devices are provided. In one set of embodiments, these techniques leverage an IOMMU feature known as dirty bit tracking which is available in most, if not all, modern IOMMU implementations. The use of this feature allows for the tracking of passthrough DMA in a manner that is device/vendor/driver agnostic, resulting in a solution that is universally applicable to all passthrough physical devices.

Abstract: Based on a service agreement between a first wireless network provider and a content provider, a user, who subscribes to a second wireless network provider that does not have a roaming agreement with the first wireless network provider, can use an unauthenticated wireless device to receive content from a content system of the content provider via a wireless network of the first wireless network provider. In certain embodiments, the unauthenticated wireless device communicates with an orchestration node of the wireless network using encapsulated messages transmitted via a logical tunnel that bypass nodes of the wireless network that would otherwise prevent a network connection from being established between the unauthenticated wireless device and the wireless network.

The first end of the first light guide is secured to the inner surface of the ear gel, and the first end of the second light guide is secured to the inner surface of the ear gel in adjacent spaced-apart relationship with the third light guide first end. The second ends of the first and second light guides are configured to be attached to and in optical communication with respective light guides extending from a sensor module within the earpiece when the ear gel module is attached to the earpiece.
Abstract: A roof rack system for affixing to a vehicle having a plurality of mounting locations system is provided. The roof rack system comprises a crossbar assembly comprising: an axis of motion, e.g., translational motion; an internal structure; a first section; a second section; a third section; a first end mount; and a second end mount. The first and second sections are configured to translate, in opposite directions, along the axis of motion relative to the internal structure. The internal structure is configured to cause the third section to be centered between the first and second sections as the first and second sections translate. The first and second end mounts are coupled to respective outboard portions of the first and second sections. The first and second end mounts are configured to mount to respective first and second mounting locations, e.g., mounting locations of the vehicle.
Abstract: A sortation conveyor includes a pair of conveying members defining a conveying surface extending in a longitudinal direction. The sortation conveyor also includes an end cap fixedly secured to respective ends of the conveying members. The sortation conveyor further includes a pusher element selectively moveable across the conveying surface. The pusher element is releasably coupled to at least one of the conveying members or the end cap.
Abstract: A transaction card may monitor an amount of electric current induced in a first near-field communication (NFC) component of a transaction card. Electric current may be induced in the first NFC component when the first NFC component is within an electromagnetic field generated by a second NFC component of a transaction terminal. The transaction card may dynamically activate one or more output components associated with the transaction card based on the amount of electric current induced in the first NFC component. The one or more output components may indicate whether the transaction card can communicate with the transaction terminal. The transaction card may perform an action related to completing a transaction after determining that the amount of electric current induced in the NFC component satisfies a first threshold. The first threshold may indicate that the transaction card can communicate with the transaction terminal.
