Abstract: Methods and systems comprising a first portion of a model that includes a model component that is trained to perform sentiment analysis based on training data for a plurality of users (e.g., what language, phrases, and/or responses the population at large uses). The first portion of the model also includes a model component that is trained to identify user intent based on the sentiment analysis that is specific to user groups. For example, the system first determines the likely context and/or meaning of communications of the user. The system then determines a likely intent of the user based on the likely context and/or meaning of communications (e.g., based on a correlation of the meaning of communications of the user and the intents of users corresponding to a user group of the user).

Abstract: A pasta rolling machine includes a first roller extending along a first axis and having a first outer surface circumferential thereto and a second roller extending along a second axis and having a second outer surface circumferential thereto. A mounting bracket rotatably supports the first and second rollers within first and second bracket openings, the first and second axes spaced apart such that a gap is defined between closest points of the first and second outer surfaces. A first mounting plate is connected to the mounting bracket adjacent to the second bracket opening and rotatably supporting the second roller within a first mounting plate opening. The first plate opening is eccentrically mounted within the first plate such that the gap is adjustable by rotating the first plate without translation relative to the mounting bracket.
Abstract: An attachment for use with a food processing system includes a container body having a sidewall, a first end configured to be mounted to a food processing base, and a second end remote of said first end. The first end is open and the second end is at least partially open. A chamber is defined by said container body and an agitating member is receivable at the first end. A displacement member is arranged at the second end to seal the second end. The displacement member is extendable into the chamber from the second end to increase a pressure within the chamber.

Abstract: Systems and methods for searching using machine-learned model-generated outputs can provide a user with a medium for generating a theoretical dataset that can then be matched to a real world example. The systems and methods can include selecting a plurality of terms, which can be utilized to generate a prompt input that can be processed by a dataset generation model to generate a plurality of model-generated datasets. A selection can then be received that selects a particular model-generated database to utilize to query a database.

Abstract: A video display system for providing vision correction for multiple users may include a display device having a holographic layer and a vision correction layer. The system may also include a processor coupled to the display device to receive a first prescription corresponding to a first user and a second prescription corresponding to a second user, and to modulate the display device so that the first user at a first angle and the second user at a second angle can view a non-distorted image from the display device.
Abstract: A method comprises receiving an input specifying one or more rules for archiving a plurality of files from a source storage location to a target storage location, wherein the target storage location comprises a cloud storage platform comprising a plurality of storage classes. In the method, one or more of the plurality of files are retrieved from the source storage location for migration to the target storage location based at least in part on the one or more rules. Assignment of the one or more of the plurality of files to respective ones of the plurality of storage classes is controlled based at least in part on the one or more rules. The one or more rules specify one or more constraints for the assignment of the one or more of the plurality of the files to the respective ones of the plurality of storage classes.
Abstract: In accordance with an exemplary embodiment, methods and systems are provided for controlling steering of an autonomous vehicle. The method includes: operating, by a processor, the autonomous vehicle in a semi-automated mode; receiving, by the processor, driver input including a measured driver torque; receiving, by the processor, threat data; determining, by the processor, a steering command bias based on an impedance relation, impedance parameters, the measured driver torque, and the threat data; determining, by the processor, a reference angle based on the steering command bias and a desired angle; and generating, by the processor, control data to control the steering of the autonomous vehicle based on the reference angle.

Abstract: Terahertz sensing in this disclosure involves the use of at least one terahertz signal that is transmitted towards an object. At least one return terahertz signal is reflected from the object. The return terahertz signal(s) may be analyzed to determine one or more parameters, such as phase, frequency, amplitude, spectral profile, time of flight (TOF) etc. associated with the return terahertz signal(s). Based on the parameter(s), a portion of the object impinged upon by the transmit terahertz signal(s) and which reflected the return terahertz signal(s), and the state of the object/portion, can be identified. The identification of the portion and its state can be used in eye tracking implementations.
Abstract: In some embodiments, a method fragments a first packet into a plurality of fragments when a length of an encapsulated first packet is larger than a maximum transmission unit size. For each fragment in the plurality of fragments, fragmentation information is generated. The method encapsulates each fragment in the plurality of fragments with an outer header to form a plurality of encapsulated packets. The respective fragmentation information for each fragment is inserted in a portion of the outer header that is processed by endpoints of an overlay tunnel and not processed by a device along a path of the overlay tunnel. The plurality of encapsulated packets are sent via the overlay tunnel.
Abstract: A method and system for determining rank positions of a set of content elements by a ranking system. During a training phase of the ranking system, a plurality of datasets of previous user interactions with interfaces are acquired. For each dataset, a last-viewed content element in the interface is determined. A win score is determined for content elements that the user interacted with. A loss score is determined for content elements ranked lower than the last-viewed content element. During an in-use phase of the ranking system, a set of content elements is received. Predicted relevance scores are determined for each content element of the set of content elements. Rank positions of each content element of the set of content elements are determined based on the predicted relevance scores.
Abstract: A nuclear radiation detector is disclosed. The detector includes a housing including therein: a scintillator; and a multi-pixel optical sensor positioned, relative to the scintillator, to receive photons emitted by the scintillator in response to interactions with nuclear radiation. The housing isolates the scintillator and the multi-pixel optical sensor from external light. The detector includes one or more processors operably connectable to the multi-pixel optical sensor; and one or more data stores coupled to the processors having instructions stored thereon which cause the processors to perform operations.
Abstract: Aspects described herein may relate to a transaction exchange platform using a streaming data platform (SDP) and microservices to process transactions according to review and approval workflows. The transaction exchange platform may receive transactions from origination sources, which may be added to the SDP as transaction objects. Microservices on the transaction exchange platform may interact with the transaction objects based on configured workflows associated with the transactions. Processing on the transaction exchange platform may facilitate clearing and settlement of transactions. Some aspects may provide for dynamic and flexible reconfiguration of workflows and/or microservices. Other aspects may provide for data snapshots and workflow tracking, allowing for monitoring, quality control, and auditability of transactions on the transaction exchange platform.
Abstract: A method of identifying reading passages for reading progress can include receiving a set of error-indicated phonemes, wherein the set of error-indicated phonemes correspond to pronunciation errors identified in a recorded audio file from an individual reading an assigned passage aloud; determining corresponding error-indicated phonetic rules for each error-indicated phoneme of the set of error-indicated phonemes using a mapping of phonemes to phonetic rules; identifying at least one content passage from a set of content passages that satisfies a condition with respect to the error-indicated phonetic rules; and providing the at least one content passage for a new assignment for the individual to read aloud.
