Abstract: Disclosed herein are novel components arranged for attachment to a rain gutter and useful for the installation or repair of gutter guard systems. One example is a clip that includes a back section and a front section extending from the bottom of the back section. The back section and the front section are generally perpendicular to each other. The back section includes a slot arranged to accommodate the rear edge of a rain gutter so that the clip can be attached to a rain gutter. The clip further includes two side members extending upward on either side of the front section. The side members each include an arm section that defines an opening in each side member. The openings are arranged to accommodate and secure features of gutter guard systems. In one example, the openings are arranged to accommodate legs extending rearward from a lower portion of gutter guard systems.

Abstract: A method, device, and computer-readable medium for decoding an encoded video bitstream using at least one processor, including obtaining a first flag indicating that a conformance window is present in a current picture; based on the first flag indicating that the conformance window is present, obtaining a second flag indicating whether the conformance window is used for reference picture resampling; based on the second flag indicating that the conformance window is used for the reference picture resampling, determining a resampling ratio between the current picture and a reference picture based on a conformance window size of the conformance window; based on the second flag indicating that the conformance window is not used for the reference picture resampling, determining the resampling ratio based on a resampling picture size; and performing the reference picture resampling on the current picture using the resampling ratio.

The method further comprising accessing a Q-table that corresponds to the communication relay agents available to the source agent. The method further comprising the source agent transitioning from communicating via a current communication relay agent to communicating via a new communication relay agent at a time slot, wherein the new communication relay agent is determined based on a set of entries in the Q-table. The method further comprising receiving data indicative of an actual reward for transitioning to the new communication relay agent, and updating the entry in the Q-table corresponding to the transition from the current communication relay agent to the new communication relay agent.

Abstract: A skate (e.g., an ice skate) for a skater (e.g., a hockey player). The skate comprises a skate boot for receiving a foot of the skater and a skating device (e.g., a blade and a blade holder) disposed beneath the skate boot to engage a skating surface (e.g., ice). At least part of the skate boot and optionally at least part of one or more other components (e.g., the skating device) may be constructed from one or more materials (e.g., foams) molded by flowing in molding equipment during a molding process (e.g., injection molding or casting). This may allow the skate (or other footwear) to have useful performance characteristics (e.g., reduced weight, proper fit and comfort, etc.) while being more cost-effectively manufactured. Abstract: Exercise grip and methods of forming exercise grips are disclosed. In one aspect, an exercise grip includes a wrist strap and a protective portion. The protective portion has a palm end and a finger end. The palm end is located closer to the wrist strap than the finger end. The finger end is formed offset from a centerline axis of the palm end of the protective portion.

The protective portion has a finger end in which three or four finger holes are defined. The protective portion also has a palm portion that extends from the finger holes to the wrist end. The protective portion varies in width from the wrist end to the finger end. The protective portion can be formed to cover an ulnar portion of a wrist when placed on a hand.

Abstract: A stud isolator with integrated nail protection and sound abatement, providing isolation, nail protection and sound abatement in a single device, with installation of a single product. Such an isolator includes an insertion body sized and configured for insertion into the stud bore hole. The insertion body includes a faceplate attached to the front end of the insertion body, so as to serve as a stop and attachment point to the stud, when the insertion body is inserted into the stud bore hole. The insertion body includes a hollow channel for receipt of a plumbing pipe extending through the stud bore hole. In addition, a metal nail protection collar and sound abatement layer are provided received in the insertion body of the isolator, so as to surround the plumbing pipe received in the isolator.

Abstract: A protective barrier affixable to a curved substrate comprises a stack of two or more lenses, each of the two or more lenses including a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film, a hard coat on a first side of the PET film, and an adhesive layer on a second side of the PET film opposite the first side. The stack of two or more lenses may have a modulation transfer function that exhibits a contrast value greater than 75% for a spatial resolution of one line-pair per 0.0003 radians at 65 degrees angle of incidence. Heat and pressure may be applied to conform the stack of two or more lenses to the shape of the curved substrate.

Abstract: A munitions rack includes a munitions rack structure that houses multiple compact ejectors. The structure includes a pair of internal longitudinal ribs, inboard of a pair of external longitudinal ribs. A spine of the munitions rack structure links all the ribs, and the munitions rack structure may be formed out of a single piece of material. The ribs define a pair of side recesses on the port and starboard sides of the bomb, which each may be further subdivided into a forward pocket and an aft pocket. Removable ejectors are located in the pockets. The ejectors may receive pressurized gas from pressurized gas source(s) located outside of the ejectors. The ejectors may each have multiple forward pistons and multiple aft pistons. The ejectors may include pitch control valving to control the relative amounts of pressurized gas sent to the forward piston(s) and aft piston(s).

Abstract: An autoloading screwdriver apparatus is provided which includes a base; a screw cartridge received by the base; a driver supported within the base that is selectively engageable with a screw of the screw cartridge by manually displacing the driver toward a working end of the autoloading screwdriver apparatus; and a handle grip movably coupled to the base and configured to be manually displaced in a longitudinal direction toward the working end of the autoloading screwdriver apparatus to move the driver into engagement with the screw and to displace the screw to the working end of the autoloading screwdriver apparatus for presenting the screw to be screwed into a target substrate. The autoloading screwdriver apparatus may further include a control element manipulable by a user to activate rotational movement of the driver to drive the screw into the target substrate.

The keyword hierarchy may be configured for organizing the plurality of documents and include a plurality of levels for the keyword hierarchy. The method may further include generating a folder directory in a data storage system based on the keyword hierarchy. A folder hierarchy of the folder directory reflects at least a portion of the keyword hierarchy and folders in the folder hierarchy are named based on corresponding keywords in the at least a portion of the keyword hierarchy. The method may further include determining a target folder for storing one of the documents in the folder directory based on the keyword hierarchy path associated with the document and storing the document to the target folder in the folder directory.

The latch has a blocking member disposed in contact with a control end of the plug in a first configuration and out of contact with the control end in a second configuration. Abstract: The technology described herein controls what a user hears while in a virtual reality environment. A user may be exposed to multiple audio sources while in the virtual reality environment. All of these competing audio sources need to be combined to produce the audio content output to the user. Further, various entities have an interest in the user hearing different audio content. The interest can be expressed through settings made available by the VR platform. The VR platform can provide user settings, landowner settings, and platform settings. The sound settings can change based on where the user's avatar is located in the VR environment. For example, when the user's avatar is located on virtual property owned by an entity other than the VR platform or user, then entities sound-preferences are considered along with the user's sound preferences, and VR platform's sound preferences.
