  • Patent number: 12290474
Abstract: A ophthalmic laser-assisted corneal lenticule extraction procedure that uses wavefront measurements to guide the formation of the corneal lenticule. The wavefront map measured from a free eye using a wavefront aberrometer is registered to the cornea of a docked eye based on comparisons of iris images and corneal markings. The docked-eye cornea-registered wavefront map is then corrected to be consistent with the Munnerlyn formula for the spherical power, and adjusted for any physician adjustments and/or myopia error due to a flat add in the lenticule, using Zernike polynomials. The corrected and adjusted wavefront map is then used to calculate the profiles of the bottom and top lenticule incisions in the applanated cornea, where higher-order components in the wavefront map are distributed to the bottom lenticule incision alone and lower-order components in the wavefront map are distributed to both the bottom and the top lenticule incision.

  • Patent number: 12290969
Abstract: A compression collar is manufactured for use in reinforcing an interference fit between an end of a pipe and a fitting. A precursor form is injection molded using a cold-expansion material. The precursor form has a tubular body with an initially closed axial end and a bore that is initially blind formed in the other axial end. Material is removed from the initially closed axial end of the tubular body of the precursor form to form an opening in the initially closed axial end that connects to the bore thereby forming the compression collar. The opening has an inner periphery with a profile in axial cross section that is different than any profile in axial cross section of an inner periphery of the bore. The collar formed may lack knitlines and may include tabs formed during the removal step which help to position the collar on a pipe.

  • Patent number: 12293617
Abstract: An inspection system includes sensors that are selectively coupled to a vehicle during an inspection and/or maintenance event for the vehicle and a controller that is operable to cause a control system of the vehicle to initiate a first operation and a different, second operation. The controller determines whether first sensor information indicative of a state of the vehicle during the first operation exists. The controller sends a command signal to the control system to direct the control system to change vehicle operations from the first operation to the second operation responsive to determining that the first sensor information is lacking. The controller obtains second sensor information from the sensors based on the second operation and determines a condition of the vehicle based on the first and/or second sensor information.

  • Patent number: 12293218
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide methods and an apparatus including processing circuitry configured to receive workflow information of a workflow. The processing circuitry generates, based on the workflow information, the workflow to process input data. The workflow includes a first processing task, a second processing task, and a first buffering task. The first processing task is caused to enter a running state where a subset of the input data is processed and output to the first buffering task as first processed subset data. The first processing task is caused to transition to a paused state based on an amount of the first processed subset data in the first buffering task being equal to a first threshold. State information of the first processing task is stored in the paused state. Subsequently, the second processing task is caused to enter a running state where the first processed subset data is processed.
