Abstract: To percutaneously deliver a replacement tricuspid valve, a cable is percutaneously positioned with a first end extending out of the venous vasculature at the neck, and a second end extending out of a femoral access point. An eyehook device is positioned over the first end. A tricuspid valve delivery device (TVDD) is advanced over the second end, and then advanced through an IVC into a right atrium. The eyehook device is advanced into the right ventricle, drawing an intermediate portion of the cable into the right ventricle. Contact between the distal end of the eyehook device and the right ventricle is maintained while the TVDD is pushed from the femoral vein. The intermediate portion of cable applies a force to a distal nose of the TVDD that causes the distal nose to be steered into a tricuspid valve annulus as the TVDD is advanced.

Abstract: A scheduling system and methods for scheduling patient appointments disclosed here utilize any available input to identify a timestamp and a spatial location related to a patient and/or one or more providers in proximity of one or more appointment locations, to allocate a set of procedure resources to each patient appointment based on the timestamps and the spatial locations, and to communicate any revised timing to the patient, thereby minimizing a total waiting time. The scheduling system allows for scheduling of appointments divided into multiple appointment states, each having a predicted timing. After a completed appointment state, individual uncertainty of the predicted timing is replaced with an actual timing and the predicted timing of the remaining schedule is revised. This scheduling system enables adaptive reallocation of resources while avoiding compounding the waiting times that create a multi-state iterative and time-variant problem.
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for dispensing ice and at least one liquid, and related cleaning processes. In one embodiment, the system comprises an ice bin for storing a quantity of ice particles, a dispensing tube for carrying at least a first liquid, and a discharge chute in communication with a discharge outlet, wherein the discharge chute is disposed upstream of the discharge outlet. An outlet end of the dispensing tube is positioned within a portion of the ice bin at a location aligned above the discharge outlet. The ice particles and the first liquid are dispensed through the discharge outlet separately or at the same time.
Abstract: Devices and methods for conducting a remote photography session are described. In some instances, a computing device at a photography station receives messages from a photography station controller which is remote from the photography station. In some examples, the computing device receives one or more messages instructing the computing device to capture an image from an image capture device. The computing device can also receive one or more messages instructing the computing device to adjust the image capture device. Additionally, the messages may instruct the computing device to present instructions to a subject of the photography session. These instructions can prompt the subject to make adjustments to meet a criteria for a photograph in the photography session.
