Patent number: 11961005Abstract: Embodiments are directed to managing machine learning models. Domain items may be determined based on domain data and schema information. Labels that correspond to a predicted outcome may be generated based on the domain data. A model may be trained based on a portion of a plurality of feature records and the labels such that each feature record may be associated with an observance of a domain item. The trained model may be disqualified based on evaluation metrics that may be below a threshold value causing further actions, including: submitting other portions of the feature records to the disqualified model; determining erroneous feature fields in the feature records based on metrics associated with the submission of the other portions of feature records; updating the feature records to exclude the erroneous feature fields; retraining the disqualified model based on the updated feature records.Type: GrantFiled: December 18, 2023Date of Patent: April 16, 2024Assignee: Storytellers.ai LLCInventors: Kirsten Rae Lum, Wing Yew Lum, Erin Marie Torgerson, Garrett Alan Fiddler

Patent number: 11958364Abstract: A torque security system for a vehicle is provided. The system receives a signal from a sensor coupled to a motor shaft of an electric motor and determines an acceleration of the electric motor, based on the signal from the sensor that indicates an amount of rotation of the motor shaft. The system determines an internal torque between the motor shaft and an input gear coupled to the motor shaft, based on the acceleration of the electric motor and an inertia of the electric motor and a gearbox. The powertrain of the vehicle comprises the gearbox and the electric motor, and the input gear couples the electric motor to the gearbox. The system determines whether the internal torque exceeds a threshold torque, and in response to determining that the internal torque exceeds the threshold torque, the system reduces power output to the electric motor. The system also diagnoses the health of the gearbox.Type: GrantFiled: March 5, 2021Date of Patent: April 16, 2024Assignee: Rivian IP Holdings, LLCInventors: Kang Wang, Younes Sangsefidi, Chia-Chou Yeh, Brian Harries
