Abstract: Disclosed herein are innovations for bitstreams having clean random access (CRA) pictures and/or other types of random access point (RAP) pictures. New type definitions and strategic constraints on types of RAP pictures can simplify mapping of units of elementary video stream data to a container format. Such innovations can help improve the ability for video coding systems to more flexibly perform adaptive video delivery, production editing, commercial insertion, and the like.
Abstract: A system, method, and computer-readable medium for evaluating structural integrity of a gradient coil disposed in a magnetic resonance imaging system is provided. A sensor obtains a parameter reading of the gradient coil, wherein the parameter reading includes a back electromotive force (back EMF) measurement. The structural integrity of the gradient coil is determined as function of the back EMF measurement.

Abstract: A system for implanting surgical material in a patient's body is disclosed. The system comprises a two-dimensional (2D) laser cutter network comprising a 2D laser cutter and a processor. Abstract: Methods for tagging content in a video game title during game play executed on a game cloud system, and social sharing methods. Abstract: Control of an amplitude of a signal applied to rods of a quadrupole is described. The method further includes de-duplicating the redundant replica(s), and updating the index to reflect the status of the redundant replica.
