Abstract: A cap and tube or seal setting apparatus comprises an anchor holding fixture having a surface for receiving a post tension anchor. An actuator is operably mounted to one side of the anchor holding fixture and in some embodiments has a cap setter attached to a movable part of the actuator. In some embodiments a tube or seal holding fixture is mounted to a support base and disposed on an opposed side of the anchor holding device.
Abstract: The present disclosure provides an industrial container and a method of opening an industrial container. The industrial container includes a container body, a pivot assembly, a counter-balancing spring assembly, and a locking assembly. The container body can have a plurality of walls, the plurality of walls including a pivotable ramp wall. The pivot assembly can connect the ramp wall with the container body for pivotal movement of the ramp wall, and the pivot assembly can include a pivot shaft supported by a pair of arms. The counter-balancing spring assembly can include one or more springs arranged about the pivot shaft for biasing the ramp wall from a downwardly inclined loading position upwardly toward a vertical closed position with a torque force. The locking assembly can be configured to lock the ramp wall in the vertical closed position.
Abstract: In User Equipment (UE) at various geographic locations, circuitry exchanges TCP packets with radios, and the radios wirelessly exchange the TCP packets with wireless communication nodes. The circuitry determines TCP retransmission rates for the radios at the geographic locations. The circuitry estimates TCP retransmission rates for the radios at a new geographic location based on the TCP retransmission rates for the radios at the past geographic locations. The circuitry selects one of the radios based on the estimated TCP retransmission rates at the new geographic location. At the new geographic location, the circuitry exchanges new TCP packets with the selected one of the radios, and the selected one of the radios wirelessly exchanges the new TCP packets with one of the wireless communication nodes.

Abstract: There is provided a method including receiving an incoming ID at a first wearable heads-up display (WHUD), which incoming ID is associated with a communicant device. The method also includes sending match data from the first WHUD to a match engine. The match data includes a first WHUD ID and the incoming ID. Moreover, the method includes receiving a match indicator at the first WHUD from the match engine. The match indicator is to indicate a match event between the first WHUD and the communicant device based on the match data. Furthermore, the method includes effecting communication between the first WHUD and the communicant device comprising at least one of sending a message from the first WHUD to the communicant device and receiving at the first WHUD a corresponding message from the communicant device. The first WHUD, and a method of operating the match engine are also described.

Abstract: A spacer grid specifically designed for accident tolerant fuel utilizing fuel rods with SiC cladding for implementation in pressurized water reactors. The spacer grid design allows for ease of SiC fuel rod insertion during the fuel assembly fabrication process by providing a smooth contact geometry. The co-planar support allows the fuel rods to be rotated axially more freely at the grid location than a conventional six-point contact geometry used in existing fuel assembly designs. The fuel rod support cells are attached at their corners which are shared between adjacent support cells.

Abstract: An edible soft robot system may be used to display and/or interact with edible inflatable objects. In an embodiment, the edible inflatable object is configured to receive a fluid in an internal compartment. The edible inflatable object may be reversibly coupled to a container, wherein coupling the edible inflatable object to the container comprises aligning a port of the edible inflatable object to a fluid conduit to fluidically couple the internal compartment to the fluid conduit. A control system of the edible soft robot system is configured to receive instructions to adjust inflation of the internal compartment by activating fluid flow into or out of the internal compartment via the fluid conduit, wherein adjusting inflation of the internal compartment causes the edible inflatable object to actuate on or within the container.

Abstract: Various hardware and software configurations are described herein which provide improved security and control over protected data. In some embodiments, a computer includes a main motherboard card coupled to all input/output devices connected to the computer, and a trusted operating system operates on the main motherboard which includes an access control module for controlling access to the protected data in accordance with rules. The trusted operating system stores the protected data in an unprotected form only on the memory devices on the main motherboard. The computer may also have a computer card coupled to the main motherboard via a PCI bus, on which is operating a guest operating system session for handling requests for data from software applications on the computer.

Abstract: Position enhancement for vehicle positioning is provided. Vehicle-to-everything (V2X) messages are received from a roadside unit (RSU) to an onboard unit (OBU) of a vehicle via a transceiver of the vehicle, the V2X messages indicating a location of the RSU. Image sensors of the vehicle are utilized to capture sensor data of the RSU. A current position of the vehicle is updated to a corrected current position of the vehicle based the RSU as shown in the sensor data and the location of the RSU indicated in the V2X messages.

Abstract: In one instance, a cooling unit for use as an aspect of a cooling system includes a cabinet having a plurality of panels and having an interior, a front face with a fan aperture formed in the front face, and a bottom panel. The cooling unit further includes a drain pan below the bottom panel. The cooling unit also includes a plurality of guide-rail slide and track assemblies coupled between at least a portion of the cabinet and the drain pan for providing controlled movement of the drain pan between an operational position and a maintenance position. Other cooling units are disclosed with drain pans that may be lowered by a single technician.
Abstract: Provided is a floating foundation for supporting a wind power generation system including a stabilized power cable. In one embodiment, the floating foundation includes a column extending upwardly and couplable at a top end thereof to a base of the wind turbine, at least one power cable for exporting power generated from the wind turbine to another floating foundation or to an offshore/onshore station, and a plurality of buoyancy modules disposed along the at least one power cable. Power cables between a plurality of floating foundations and/or power station may be supported by buoyant modules such that the power cable is located in an optimal submergence range of the water body in which the floating foundations are deployed.

Abstract: In an example embodiment, a deep learning model is used to learn embedding representations of a heterogeneous information network, where the embedding represents entity-specific properties and network environment properties. Position-aware embeddings specific to the heterogeneous information network may be used as input features of the deep learning model.
