Abstract: A system for alimentary provisioning may include a computing device configured to record at least a biological extraction from a user; generate an alimentary instruction set for the user as a function of the at least a biological extraction; receive a goal parameter from the user; generate a plurality of ingredient combinations, wherein each ingredient combination is a combination of at least two ingredients of a plurality of ingredients; filter the plurality of ingredient combinations according to the goal parameter; and select a plurality of beneficial ingredient combinations for the user from the plurality of ingredient combinations, wherein the plurality of beneficial ingredient combinations is selected as a function of the alimentary instruction set.

Abstract: The invention is a retrofit device for converting a standard switch to a smart switch. The retrofit device taps into an existing switch electrical terminal via one or more sliding arms with electrical contacts. The electrical contacts interface with the terminals, thus providing a control circuit to intervene or interrupt the existing switch function and allow a control system to control the electrical circuit the existing switch serves.

Abstract: An apparatus for a battery cell is provided. The apparatus includes the battery cell. The battery cell includes an electrode stack including at least one pair of an anode electrode and a cathode electrode and a can including a wall encapsulating the electrode stack. The battery cell further includes a positive battery terminal connected to the electrode stack and projecting outside of the can. The battery cell further includes a negative battery terminal connected to the electrode stack. The positive battery terminal and the negative battery terminal are configured for providing electrical energy. The battery cell further includes a thermal barrier adjoining the can and the positive battery terminal. The thermal barrier seals gases within the battery cell from exiting the battery cell between the can and the positive battery terminal at an ambient temperature of at least 600° C.

Abstract: A rechargeable lithium-ion battery assembly configured to provide power to a forklift vehicle, the battery assembly including a plurality of battery modules integrated into the assembly, where each integrated battery module includes a plurality of battery cells within a module casing, with the cells being grouped and interconnected in both series and parallel to provide in combination an overall predetermined electrical potential between a positive terminal and a negative terminal for each module, and where each module uses two conductors within a printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) as busbars, with the PCBA being disposed adjacent to a first end of each battery cell in the module and being electrically coupled by wire bonds with each battery cell, and the PCBA also having a processor (a battery management system, or BMS) for management control of the integrated module.

Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to video coding/decoding and particularly to motion vector prediction based on subblock motion vectors. One method is disclosed for processing a current block of a current frame in a coded video bitstream. The method includes receiving, by a device, a coded video bitstream; determining, by the device based on the coded video bitstream, the current block of the current frame to be inter predicted by at least one reference block of at least one reference frame; determining, by the device based on the coded video bitstream, a current-block motion vector (MV) corresponding to each of the at least one reference block, the current-block MV to be predicted by a reference MV; and identifying, by the device, a subblock MV of a MV reference block as the reference MV for predicting the current-block MV.

Abstract: For some embodiments of the present disclosure, systems and methods for using computer vision to guide processing of receive responses of RADAR sensors of a vehicle are described. A computer implemented method comprises receiving, with one or more receivers of RADAR sensors, environment receive RF responses, receiving region of interest (ROI) information including segments of a tentative set of ROIs with free space area boundaries from an image processor of an image processing chain for the computer vision, dynamically determining a number of polyphase filters based on a number of ROIs having dynamic scenes that are provided by the image processing chain, and adjusting parameters of the polyphase filters of a RADAR processing chain based on the ROI information.

Abstract: Provided herein are systems and methods for controlling the production of negative carbon-intensity liquid hydrocarbons (e.g., for fuels and chemicals). In various aspects, the methods utilize a feedstock having a negative carbon intensity, produce a co-product from the feedstock, sequester a portion of the CO2 derived from the feedstock, or utilize a portion of the O2 in a process that consumes O2 and emits CO2.

Abstract: A UTV side mirror mounting, and adjustment system may be coupled to the sidebar of a UTV chassis. The UTV side mirror mounting, and adjustment system may include a module, multi-component clamp system coupled to the neck of a rotatable ball and socket joint, with the distal end of the rotatable joint being coupled to a hinge. The hinge may be secured to the side mirror, or other peripheral in need of mounting. The modular, multi-component clamp system, rotatable ball and socket joint, and hinge can each be independently adjusted, and secured to modulate and secure the peripheral's position in relation to the chassis sidebar. The modular, multi-component clamp system may secure the UTV side mirror mounting and adjustment system to an adjustable multi-component clamp system, the adjustable multi-component clamp system being coupled to a UTV or other chassis sidebar. The adjustable multi-component clamp system may couple to the sidebar of a UTV chassis via the modular, multi-component clamp system.

Abstract: Systems and methods are taught for providing customers of a cloud computing service to control when updates affect the services provided to the customers. Because multiple customers share the cloud's infrastructure, each customer may have conflicting preferences for when an update and associated downtime occurs. Preventing and resolving conflicts between the preferences of multiple customers while providing them with input for scheduling a planned update may reduce the inconvenience posed by updates. Additionally, the schedule for the update may be transmitted to customers so that they can prepare for the downtime of services associated with the update.

Abstract: A method for transitioning a nuclear reactor during initial cycle startup to a power generating state is disclosed. The method includes setting the nuclear reactor to a zero power state, eliminating lower power physics tests (LPPTs) for a current cycle of the nuclear reactor based on a predetermined set of criteria, and setting the nuclear reactor to the power generating mode without performing the LPPTs, based on the reconciliation. The eliminating includes predicting, using a first design code, a first set of values for factors of the LPPTs, developing, using data from past cycles of the nuclear reactor, empirical formulas for the factors of the LPPTs, predicting, using the empirical formulas, a second set of values for the factors of the LPPTs, and reconciling the first values with the second values.

Abstract: A communication system with uninterrupted service in citizens broadband radio service (CBRS) band is provided. The communication system includes a first base station that is in communication with at least one core network of a wireless communication service provider. The first base station is further in communication with a spectrum access system (SAS) that allocates communication channels in the CBRS band. The first base station uses the CBRS band to communicate with user equipment (UE) over a first CBRS band communication channel. A channel moving function is configured to redirect communications from the first CBRS band communication channel when a termination of grant to the first CBRS communication channel is issued by the SAS to a second communication channel provided by a second base station that provides a service coverage area for the UE through at least a second RP before the first CBRS communication channel is terminated.

Abstract: Provided is a terminal assembly for an electrochemical battery comprising a terminal connector; a conductive flat-plate with an electrically conducting perimeter; an electrically insulating tape member; and a terminal bipolar electrode plate. The electrically insulating tape member is in between the conductive flat-plate and the terminal bipolar electrode plate such that the electrically insulating tape member does not cover the entire surface area of the conductive flat-plate. The electrically conducting perimeter enables bi-directional uniform current flow through the conductive flat-plate between the terminal connector and the terminal bipolar electrode plate. Also provided is a battery frame member for a static rechargeable battery comprising a liquid diversion system; a gutter; a sealing member; a gas channel; and a ventilation hole.

Abstract: A method for execution by a Dynamic Random Access (DRAM) cell processing circuit in a read mode, includes receiving a pre-charge input and charging a bit-line operably coupled to a plurality of DRAM cells of a DRAM memory device, including a current DRAM cell, to a pre-charge voltage. The method continues by sensing a voltage change on the bit-line, where the sensing is based on a difference between a voltage stored on a DRAM cell capacitor of the current DRAM cell and the pre-charge voltage and generating a logic input for one of four voltage states for the current DRAM cell. The method then continues by supplying, supplying, based on the logic input, a corresponding logic voltage on the bit-line to refresh the voltage stored in the DRAM cell capacitor of the current DRAM cell.
