Abstract: A method for authenticating payload delivery devices. The payload delivery devices can include autonomous robotic delivery vehicles or other devices. The disclosed method causes delivery devices to authenticate each other during the delivery cycle via the cloud by determining, via a processor, payload delivery mission metadata that can include a mission identification (ID), payload information, and a mission type associated with payload delivery. The method further includes generating, based on the payload delivery mission metadata, a multi-modal authentication message that, when received by a first delivery device, configures the first delivery device to authenticate a second delivery device using a token generated onboard the delivery device or received from the cloud server, receive and authenticate delivery payload associated with the payload delivery mission, and complete a delivery operation through cloud server-coordinated or independent device authentication.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to security tags for an electronic article surveillance system deployed in a retail environment. The security tag is a single piece security tag that comprises a tack housing and a tag housing connected by a beam. The beam is enabled to house one or more antenna elements that is electrically connected with one or more electronic components housed within the tag housing. Alternatively, one or more antenna elements can be housed within the tack housing, wherein engagement of the tack housing with the tag housing enables the one or more antenna elements to receive electrical signals from the one or more electronic components via a tack.
Abstract: A carrier for holding at least one container includes a plurality of panels extending at least partially around an interior of the carrier, the plurality of panels including a front panel, a back panel, at least one side panel, and at least one handle panel extending between the front panel and the back panel. The carrier further includes container retaining features for stabilizing the at least one container in the interior of the carrier, the container retaining features includes at least one container retention cut formed in an upper portion of at least one of the front panel and the back panel.
Abstract: A stormwater management system comprising a floor having a drainage opening and a filter. The filter is operatively attached to a portion of the floor adjacent the drainage opening such that the filter covers the drainage opening so that water flowing from the stormwater management system into the drainage opening passes through the filter. The filter has a filter area adapted to permit stormwater to flow therethrough, with the filter area of the filter being at least twice as large as the drainage opening area.
Abstract: A method including parsing a scene file to extract relevant scene file data; sending the relevant scene file data to a converter; translating, by the converter, the relevant scene file data into a format compatible with a respective rendering engine; mapping the translated scene file data using the respective rendering engine into a scene representation, wherein the scene representation is compatible with an Immersive Technologies Media Format (ITMF).
Abstract: Techniques for content protection for a glasses device are described and may be implemented to enable sensitive content on a glasses device to be protected from exposure to persons other than a user of the glasses device. Generally, the described implementations utilizing sensor data such as visual data from a camera to detect human gaze to determine whether a person other than a user of a glasses device is positioned to view sensitive content displayed by the glasses device. If a secondary person other than a user of a glasses device is detected as being positioned to view sensitive content, a protection process is implemented to mitigate exposure of the sensitive content to the secondary person.

Abstract: A method and apparatus related to a fogging nozzle assembly including a housing, a metered core, and an air vortex core. The housing includes an air inlet opening at a first end to receive air from a blower distinct from the apparatus, and a fogging outlet opening to output a fog at a second end. The housing couples to a liquid container that stores a fogging liquid and to the blower. The metered core, disposed within the housing, includes a first plurality of radial angled fins to create a low-pressure zone within the housing which draws the fogging liquid from the liquid container into the housing. The air vortex core, disposed between the metered core and the fogging outlet opening, includes a second plurality of radial angled fins to mix the fogging liquid with the air and guide the fog exiting the housing at the fogging outlet opening.

Abstract: A machine translation of a document is created via a compilation of services by mapping textual content from an image to create a plurality of mapped locations correspondent to at least one object from the image, populating each of the mapped locations with at least one character indicative of the object, each character sharing at least one similar attribute, adding to the image the populated mapped locations, and highlighting at least a portion of the textual content in accordance with the populated at least one character. A compilation of services is provided for identifying, extracting, and assessing electronic images by using a layered approach that reduces time and improves reviewing of medical records and other kinds of documentation.
Abstract: Methods and apparatus to correct for deterioration of a demographic model to associate demographic information with media impression information are disclosed. An example method includes estimating first and second ages of audience members based on demographic information; estimating a third age of an audience member who is not included in the audience members; applying a window function to the second ages to determine a distribution of ages based on the third age; multiplying window values by the first ages to determine corrected first age components; dividing a total of the corrected first age components by a sum of the window values to determine an estimated age of the audience member at a first time; and determining the corrected age of the audience member at a second time based on the estimated age of the audience member at the first time and a time difference between the first and second times.

Abstract: This technology relates to rasterizing and compositing vector graphics in parallel on a data-parallel computing device. For example, vector data of the vector graphics, may be loaded into local memory accessible by the one or more parallel processors. The vector data may include one or more paths comprised of one or more path segments of the vector graphics. The one or more parallel processors may rasterize the one or more path segments into respective rasters and assign each of the rasters into groups based on pixel coordinates of the respective rasters. Each group may have an associated key and the rasters within each group represent a portion of the same vector graphic. The rasters may be placed onto subpixels according to their respective pixel coordinates and rendered onto a display by the one or more parallel processors.
