  • Patent number: 11912385
Abstract: An apparatus that facilitates search and rescue, for example, in open water. The apparatus comprises a substrate with a particular geometry and a perimeter. The apparatus further comprises a cover positioned atop the substrate with the cover also having a particular geometry and perimeter, which correspond to the geometry and perimeter of the substrate. An air-tight seal seals the substrate perimeter to the cover perimeter and creates a sealed internal region. A breakable vessel holding an activator is located in the sealed internal region, along with illuminable dyes that are also located in the sealed internal region. When the breakable vessel is broken, the activator reacts with the illuminable dyes and illuminates the illuminable dyes.

  • Patent number: 11914162
Abstract: An eye-tracking system includes two mirrors. A first mirror is positioned to transmit light, received at a first incident angle, reflected off an eye of a user toward a second mirror. The first mirror is also positioned to reflect the light, reflected from the second mirror, at a second incident angle. The second mirror is inclined from the first mirror so that the light transmitted through the first mirror is reflected by the second mirror toward the first mirror at a first reflection angle. The light reflected by the second mirror is reflected by the first mirror toward the second mirror at a second reflection angle greater than the first reflection angle. The eye-tracking system also includes one or more sensors positioned to detect the light reflected by the first mirror and the second mirror for determining a gaze direction of the eye of the user.

The confidential information may be provided by generating the information in spoken form and inserting the spoken information into an audio stream of the voice call. For example, a customer may be on a phone call with a customer agent. The customer agent may ask the customer for a credit card number in order to process a financial transaction. The customer may select the credit card number via an application executing on the customer's mobile phone. The application may cause the credit card number to be spoken out loud during the voice call. A voice sample of the spoken credit card number in inserted into the audio stream of the voice call and is therefore, audible to the customer and the customer agent without being overheard by a third party.

  • Patent number: 11914022
Abstract: In an illustrative integrated circuit, a chirp generator provides a chirp signal having linearly-ramped chirp intervals, while a shift frequency generator provides a signal having a different shift frequency during each of multiple segments in each chirp interval. A modulator combines the signals to derive a segmented chirp signal having multiple linearly-ramped chirp segments in each chirp interval. The modulator may be a single sideband modulator to provide frequency up-shifted and frequency down-shifted chirp segments. The segmented chirp signal may be suppressed during resettling intervals of the original chirp signal.

  • Patent number: 11914841
Abstract: In embodiments of the present disclosure, there is provided a method for generating a stylized icon automatically. After a query text inputted by a user is obtained, a trained generator is used to generate a structured icon that can characterize a structure of an object, and then the structured icon is stylized, such as performing color padding or adding other styles, so as to generate a high-quality stylized icon for the user. In embodiments of the present disclosure, a structured icon and a stylized icon are generated respectively at two stages, where the structured icon can clearly characterize the structure of the object, while the stylized icon can be richer in color and style. Therefore, the stylized icon generated according to embodiments of the present disclosure has a higher quality and is more realistic, thereby improving the user experience of icon generation.
