Abstract: A system for minimizing iron infusion in a fuel cell includes a catalyst coated on proton exchange membrane (CCM) having a plurality of side edge portions. The CCM includes a membrane having a first planar side and a second planar side, an anode on the first planar side of the membrane, and a cathode on the second planar side of the membrane. The system further includes an anode gas diffusion layer (GDL) including a first micro-porous layer. The first micro-porous layer is in contact with the anode. The system further includes a cathode GDL including a second micro-porous layer. The second micro-porous layer is in contact with the cathode. The system further includes an adhesive in contact with the plurality of side edge portions of the CCM. The first micro-porous layer, the second micro-porous layer, and the adhesive collectively encapsulate the CCM and minimize iron infusing into the membrane.

Abstract: A method includes transmitting, by a wireless device and via a serving cell with a first physical cell index (PCI), a first power headroom report (PHR) of the serving cell and a second PHR of a non-serving cell with a second PCI. The first PHR of the serving cell is determined based on a first pathloss reference signal. The second PHR of the non-serving cell with the second PCI is different from the first PCI of the serving cell. The second PHR of the non-serving cell with the second PCI is determined based on a second pathloss reference signal.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods and systems for orchestrating application use while preventing unauthorized data sharing. For instance, an orchestration management system may provide orchestration logic to a computing platform system hosting a virtual environment configured to run an application on behalf of a data owner computing device. Once the orchestration logic is loaded thereon, a public key to and a location of the virtual environment may be provided to an application owner's computing device. The orchestration logic may enable the application owner's computing device to access the virtual environment at the location to load the application into the virtual environment utilizing a first key combination including the public key and a matching private key. At least the private key may then be disabled by the orchestration logic to prevent subsequent access to the virtual environment by the application owner to guarantee no unauthorized data sharing.

Abstract: A vehicle including one or more interior image sensors, one or more exterior image sensors, and a controller configured to automatically detect occupant risky behavior is provided. The controller is configured to: detect whether a vehicle occupant exists who may pose a risk; determine whether a detected vehicle occupant in engaged in potentially risky behavior in an area of interest (AoI) based on image data from the one or more interior image sensors or the one or more exterior image sensors; determine whether the potentially risky behavior poses an actual risk; classify a level of risk when the potentially risky behavior poses an actual risk; and perform risk mitigation actions based on risk classification.

Abstract: A high-voltage module, such as a traction battery, a traction inverter, or a DC/DC converter of a traction powertrain of an electrified vehicle (EV), includes an enclosure and a fuse box. An electronics assembly for performing electrical power operations is housed within the enclosure. The enclosure has a socket. The fuse box is removably insertable into the socket of the enclosure. The fuse box connects to the electronics assembly while the fuse box is inserted into the socket of the enclosure for the fuse box to provide a power distribution and fuse protection arrangement to the electronics assembly.

Abstract: A method of sidelink control information transmission includes receiving, by a first user equipment (UE), configuration parameters of a plurality of carriers comprising a first carrier and a second carrier; transmitting, by the first UE and for sidelink communications with a second UE via the second carrier, first sidelink control information (SCI) via the first carrier; and transmitting, by the first UE to the second UE via the second carrier, a transport block based on the first SCI.

Abstract: Systems and methods for identifying operational abnormalities based on data received from an agricultural implement performing a task in an agricultural field are described herein. In an embodiment, a system receives time-series data captured from an agricultural implement performing an agronomic activity on an agricultural field, the time-series data including, for each of a plurality of timestamps, a location of the agricultural implement. The system identifies a plurality of passes in the time-series data and using the identified plurality of passes, identifies a plurality of location on the agricultural field in which the activity performed by the agricultural implement included a particular operational abnormality. The system generates a map of operational abnormalities for the agricultural field, the map of operational abnormalities including the plurality of locations on the agricultural field in which the activity performed by the agricultural implement included the particular operational abnormality.

Abstract: A system and method for monitoring air quality while providing charging capabilities to electronic devices is provided. The system generally comprises a charging device, at least one sensor, output device, processor, processor operably connected to the at least one sensor and output device, and non-transitory computer-readable medium coupled to the processor and having instructions stored thereon. Other embodiments may further comprise a computing device having a user interface, which may be used by a user to input user data into the system as well as view environmental data measured by the system. The system is designed to collect environmental data via the at least one sensor and determine whether air quality has become hazardous to the health of a user. In particular, the system is designed to monitor for hazardous gasses, such as carbon monoxide and ozone, and particulate matter, such as lead and arsenic.

Abstract: A heat dissipation structure for a casting block assembly, which includes a tube extending through a casting block, and the tube has at least one turbulence generating device to promote turbulence inside the tube and reduce boundary layer thickness, and therefore increase the heat transfer coefficient. The turbulence generating device is one or more ribs or dimples integrally formed as part of the tube, before forming the casting block around a portion of the tube. The ribs or dimples promote turbulence to reduce boundary layer thickness, and therefore increase the heat transfer coefficient. The turbulence generating devices promote higher turbulence intensity, a thinner boundary layer thickness, increased heat transfer coefficient, and a stronger bond between the tube and the casting block. The tube may have an elliptical cross-section, which allows for increased spacing between various portions of the tube while maintaining the same cross-sectional flow area, enhancing heat transfer.

Abstract: Improved methods for retrieval of content from CDNs is provided that includes a rendezvous controller that receives information of an identification of content being requested and an estimated location of a content requesting device. Based on this information, the rendezvous system identifies a server within a CDN from which the requested content may be retrieved. The selected server may be based on a repeatable hash function such that the likelihood that the content being requested is cached at the selected server. Steering requests to a server of the CDN which may have the content cached may reduce the number of servers within the CDN with the same cached content, particularly for the highest requested content. The rendezvous system may then return a corresponding domain name associated with the selected server and that can be subsequently submitted to a DNS for resolution to the IP address of the identified server.
