  • Patent number: 11897374
Abstract: A base for a child car seat includes a seat base body configured to support a child carrier. The seat base body has a belt channel configured to receive a vehicle seat belt to retain the seat bas body against a vehicle seat. The base for a child car seat further includes a latch connector arm having a proximal end pivotally connected to the seat base body and a distal end configured to attach to a rigid anchor of the vehicle seat. The latch connector is rotatable between a stowed position and an attachment position. In the stowed position, the latch connector arm is located such that the vehicle seat belt may extend through the belt channel and connect to a buckle of the vehicle seat without contacting the latch connector arm.

  • Patent number: 11899732
Abstract: Systems and methods for automatically associating content characteristics to a third-party content are provided. A uniform resource locator identifying a resource is received from a content provider. The content is rendered to produce an object tree. A first node of the object tree is determined, where the first node represents a content slot. A second node of the object tree proximate to the first node is identified. The second node has a content characteristic, which is extracted. The extracted content characteristic is associated with the first node and stored.

  • Patent number: 11899448
Abstract: An autonomous vehicle is described herein. The autonomous vehicle is configured to determine that a person is proximate the autonomous vehicle at a location that is external to the autonomous vehicle. The autonomous vehicle is further configured to determine that the person is attempting to hail the autonomous vehicle through use of a gesture. The autonomous vehicle identifies the gesture being performed by the person, and responsive to identifying the gesture, identifies a travel intent that the person is imparting to the autonomous vehicle by way of the gesture. The autonomous vehicle then operates based upon the travel intent.

  • Patent number: 11896063
Abstract: Free cut edges on undergarments help to minimize the appearance of visible panty lines. However, typical free cut undergarments are flat and do not conform to the shape of the body. The undergarment disclosed herein has free cut edges and a gusset panel that addresses the limitations of existing free cut undergarments. The gusset panel is gathered along its left and right edges using elastic thread or elastic bands. The gathering provides elasticity and shape to the gusset panel, and limits the extent to which the gusset panel slides and becomes displaced on the wearer.

  • Patent number: 11899664
Abstract: A novel framework optimizes SQL queries that are generated from a templated virtual sematic layer. The framework introduces the use of a virtual semantic layer into database management systems' operations, whereby templated SQL queries can be rewritten according to a determined and measured nesting, dimensional structure that produces an optimized search system. This enables templated SQL fragments to be translated for query optimization, thereby reducing the drain on a database's resources and minimizing a query's impact on the database's performance.

  • Patent number: 11900144
Abstract: A controller of a quantum system identifies a phase update trigger for a quantum object of the quantum system and an interaction time. Responsive to identifying the phase update trigger, the controller determines, for between a first time and the interaction time, (a) a location/transport effect on a phase of the quantum object based on locations thereof and transport operations performed thereon, and (b) a quantum operation effect on the phase of the quantum object based on any quantum operations applied thereto. The immediately previous phase update for the quantum object occurred at the first time. Based on the location/transport effect, the quantum operation effect, and the interaction time, the controller determines an interaction time phase of the quantum object. The controller adjusts operation of a manipulation source such that a phase of a signal generated by the manipulation source corresponds to the interaction time phase at the interaction time.

  • Patent number: 11902078
Abstract: Communication systems are described that use signal constellations, which have unequally spaced (i.e. ‘geometrically’ shaped) points. In many embodiments, the communication systems use specific geometric constellations that are capacity optimized at a specific SNR. In addition, ranges within which the constellation points of a capacity optimized constellation can be perturbed and are still likely to achieve a given percentage of the optimal capacity increase compared to a constellation that maximizes dmin, are also described. Capacity measures that are used in the selection of the location of constellation points include, but are not limited to, parallel decode (PD) capacity and joint capacity.
