Abstract: Custom acoustic models can be configured by developers by providing audio files with custom recordings. The custom acoustic model is trained by tuning a baseline model using the audio files. Audio files may contain custom noise to apply to clean speech for training. The custom acoustic model is provided as an alternative to a standard acoustic model. A speech recognition system can select an acoustic model for use upon receiving metadata about the device conditions or type. Speech recognition is performed on speech audio using one or more acoustic models. The result can be provided to developers through the user interface, and an error rate can be computed and also provided.
Abstract: A method of making a capacitor-assisted hybrid electrode for a lithium-ion electrochemical cell includes admixing a solvent, a cellulose-based dispersant, and a plurality of capacitive particles comprising carbon to form a dispersion. The cellulose-based dispersant forms hydrogen bonds with one or more carbonyl-groups on the capacitive particles comprising carbon. The dispersion is combined with an electroactive material, an electrically conductive material, and a binder to form a slurry. The slurry is applied to a current collector and solidified to form the capacitor-assisted hybrid electrode having a composite hybrid active layer on the current collector. Capacitor-assisted hybrid electrodes formed from such methods are also provided.

Abstract: A method and a device for multi-antenna transmission in a user equipment and a base station are disclosed in the present disclosure. The user equipment first receives a first signaling, receives a first wireless signal, and transmits first information. K antenna port groups are used to transmit the first wireless signal. The first signaling is used to determine the K antenna port groups. The K antenna port groups respectively correspond to K channel quality values. KI antenna port groups of the K antenna port groups correspond to K1 channel quality values of the K channel quality values. The K1 is a positive integer less than or equal to the K. A first proportional sequence corresponds to a ratio(ratios) among the K1 channel quality values. The first information is used to determine the K1 antenna port groups and the first proportional sequence.
Abstract: A system includes one or more hardware processors and memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more hardware processors, causes the system to access image data depicting an object including generating the image data via a camera of a mobile device of the user where the object is a portion of the user, identify a set of features, assign labels to regions of the image data based on the set of features including providing the set of features identified from each respective region of the regions as input into a model and where the model outputs a label for the respective region and where the labels comprise one or more semantic labels or classifications that correspond with the set of features, and generate a three-dimensional (3D) model of the object based on the labels assigned to the regions of the image data.
Abstract: Disclosed herein are devices and methods providing directed media content to an individual on a mobile unit, as well as devices and methods for the rapid storage of power on mobile units to power the devices providing media content to an individual user. The disclosed devices and methods allow for such mobile units to power electronic components located on the mobile units. Furthermore, the disclosed devices and methods allow for securing a media-delivery device to a safety bar or other portion of a mobile unit without comprising the safety or integrity of the mobile unit.
Abstract: An apparatus for performing image searches including a camera, storage devices storing a set of instructions, and a processor coupled to the at least one storage device and the camera. The instructions configure the at least one processor to perform operations including identifying attributes of the captured image using a classification model; identifying first results based on the identified attributes; selecting a subset of first results based on corresponding probability scores, generating a first graphical user interface including interactive icons corresponding to first results in the subset, an input icon, and a first button. The operations may also include receiving a selection of the first button, performing a search to identify second results, and generating a second graphical user interface displaying the second results.
Abstract: An image sensor may include a sensor chip that is bonded to an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) chip. A bond pad for the image sensor may be formed in the ASIC chip and exposed through a trench in the sensor chip. The image sensor may include a conductive light shield at a periphery of the image sensor to shield optically black pixels. An opaque layer may be formed over the conductive light shield to mitigate reflections off the conductive light shield. An anti-reflective layer may be formed over the pixel array. The anti-reflective layer may have a different thickness over the pixel array than in the trench for the bond pad.
Abstract: Example apparatus disclosed herein are to send a request to a media provider that is to cause the media provider to initiate transmission of a transport stream that is to provide streaming media to a media presentation device. Disclosed example apparatus are also to extract metering metadata from a data file to be received by the media presentation device after the transmission of the transport stream is initiated by the media provider but before receipt by the media presentation device of the transport stream that is to provide the streaming media to the media presentation device, the data file associated with the transport stream. Disclosed example apparatus are further to report the metering metadata to a server in response to a detected event, and access an identification of secondary media responsive to the report of the metering metadata, the secondary media to be presented by the media presentation device.
Abstract: A system and method for transcoding data. The system includes an adaptive transcoder that transcodes data to produce transcoded data having a first data rate, and transmits the transcoded data to a client device. The adaptive transcoder receives a quality signal. The adaptive transcoder transcodes the data at a second data rate in response to the adaptive transcoder determining that the quality signal indicates that the first data rate is deficient based on at least one of processing capabilities of the client device and network connection capabilities between the adaptive transcoder and the client device.

Abstract: This method prepares high performance lithium iron phosphate nanopowder, used in the construction of cathode material for lithium ion batteries. The preparation comprises the following steps: (a) the synthesis of iron hydrogen phosphate (FeHPO4) by mixing high purity nano-size metal iron powder (Fe) and phosphoric acid (H3PO4) in solution, (b) addition of a water-soluble lithium source and carbon source to the previous solution to yield a slurry (M?1), and (c) the (M?1) slurry being milled, spray dried, heat treated, and magnetically filtered to obtain a lithium iron phosphate nanopowder. The preparation method is simple, has low cost, and produces a high performance lithium iron phosphate nanopowder with high purity, high conductivity, cycling stability, and comprehensive electrochemical performance.
