Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices for ultra-wideband frequency band allocation may include a first ultra-wideband (UWB) device that establishes a connection with a second UWB device on a channel. The channel may have a center frequency at or above 10.6 gigahertz (GHz). The first UWB device may transmit a signal to the second UWB device via the connection on the channel.

Abstract: Aqueous treatment compositions for crude oil and/or petroleum distillates to remove sulfur compounds therefrom and treatment methods using such compositions are disclosed. The composition has less than 0.5% wt/wt di- or tri-benzohydroxy compound, a strong base, less than 1% wt/wt divalent metal gluconate, a balance of water, and a pH that is 9 or greater. The treatment method includes adding said treatment composition to crude oil or a petroleum distillate to form a mixture having 0.001% to 0.02% wt di- or tri-benzohydroxy compound/wt oil and 0.001% to 0.03% wt divalent metal gluconate/wt oil and mixing the same together.

Abstract: An apparatus for attracting an animal to an area includes a housing, recordable memory media contained within the housing for storing a pre-recorded ultrasonic sound and a prerecorded audible sound. An audible sound emitter contained within the housing is also provided for emitting the prerecorded audible sound. Further, an ultrasonic sound emitter contained within the housing for emitting the prerecorded ultrasonic sound and second pre-recorded sounds that simulate first and second distinct sounds each made by a species of animal in the environment. A user interface to play back the audible and ultrasonic sounds simultaneously to produce a blended sound for attracting an animal. The apparatus may further include a first amplifier for amplifying the audible sound and a second amplifier for amplifying the ultrasonic sound. A low pass filter for filtering the audible sounds and a high pass filter for filtering the ultrasonic sounds may also be included.

Abstract: A container holder may include an inner liner, an outer shell, and an intermediate layer in between the inner liner and the outer shell. The inner liner may provide an inner wall. And the inner wall may include a cavity for receiving a container. The container holder can define a first portion and a second portion. The first portion may follow a curved profile and the second portion may follow a flat profile such that a cross-section of the container holder follows a D-shape. The second portion may have a series of openings extending through the outer shell to vent the cavity to an outside. A series of loops may cover the series of openings on the second portion and a pair of clips can be mounted to the series of loops. A bottom vent can extend through the base, the intermediate layer, and the inner liner.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide a method and an apparatus including processing circuitry that obtaining prediction information indicating whether a current block is coded in a subblock-based temporal motion vector prediction (SbTMVP) mode. If the current block is coded in the SbTMVP mode, whether a subblock in a plurality of subblocks of the current block is bi-predicted is determined. If the subblock is bi-predicted, motion information of the subblock is determined based on the SbTMVP mode. At least one of (i) a bilateral matching (BM)-based motion vector (MV) refinement and (ii) a bi-directional optical flow (BDOF) mode is applied to the subblock to refine the motion information of the subblock. The current block is reconstructed based on refined motion information corresponding to one or more subblocks in the plurality of subblocks. The refined motion information corresponding to the one or more subblocks includes the refined motion information of the subblock.

Abstract: A bone fixation screw is provided for coupling with a bone fusion plate to join bone fusions. The bone fixation screw comprises a head portion and a shank that is comprised of distal threads and extends to a tapered portion and a rounded distal end. The head portion includes proximal threads extending circumferentially around an inferior end of the head portion. The proximal threads are configured to advantageously cross-thread with aperture threads of the bone fusion plate when the bone fixation screw is obliquely angled relative to the bone fusion plate. Slots disposed around the head portion allow the proximal threads to disengage and reengage with the aperture threads as the bone fixation screw turns. A shaped opening in a superior end of the head portion engagedly receives a tool for driving the bone fixation screw into a bone hole.

The electronics system includes a power supply that is configured to initiate a transfer of power to an electrical contact structure if the cartridge receiving portion is moved towards the first surface of the housing to at least a first position of the housing. The electronics system is configured to interrupt the transfer of power to the electrical contact structure if the cartridge receiving portion is moved towards the second surface of the housing. An electronic vaping device may include a cartridge detachably coupled to the cartridge receiving portion.

Abstract: A power supply assembly for an e-vaping device may include a coupling interface configured to couple with a cartridge to configure the e-vaping device to generate a vapor, a light-emitting device, and a light tube structure extending from the light-emitting device and through the coupling interface. Abstract: The present disclosure provides techniques for management of user interface elements based on historical configuration data. Use of historical configuration data to render user interface elements improves usability of graphical user interfaces by maintaining a consistent user experience. The states of user interface objects in a hosting environment are retained as historical configuration data and linked to a hosting environment profile. When the same or similar hosting environment is detected, the user interface elements are rendered based on the historical configuration data. For example, the last positions of windows in a particular monitor topology are stored as historical configuration data linked to that monitor topology. The windows are returned to their previous positions when a computing device is next configured with the same or similar monitor topology.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for internal error correction for memory devices are described. A memory device may perform a read operation at a memory array having a data partition and an error check partition and may obtain a first set of bits from the data partition and a second set of bits from the error check partition. The memory device may determine a first error detection result based on a value of a determined syndrome. The memory device may obtain a parity bit from the first set of bits and determine a second error detection result based on a comparison of the parity bit with a second function of the subset of the first set of bits. The memory device may transmit the first set of bits to a host device based at least in part on the first and second error detection results.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for mobile device tracking system within a VR simulation. The method includes determining a position and orientation of a mobile device tracking module (e.g., case) attached to a mobile device, calculating a position and orientation of the of the mobile device based at least partially on a position and orientation of a tracking module, simulating a real world environment, generating a virtual visualization of the mobile device and rendering a VR simulation based at least partially on the position and orientation of the display screen of the mobile device. The position and orientation of the display screen provides a virtual position and orientation of the display screen relative to a virtual origin within the VR simulation.

Abstract: In a non-volatile memory system that performs programming of selected memory cells (in coordination with pre-charging and boosting of channels for unselected memory cells) and program-verify to determine whether the programming was successful, the system transitions from program-verify to the next dose of programming by concurrently lowering a voltage applied to a selected word line and voltages applied to word lines on a first side of the selected word line at the conclusion of program-verify. Subsequent to lowering the voltage applied to the selected word line, the system successively lowers voltages applied to groups of one or more word lines on a second side of the selected word line at the conclusion of program-verify beginning with a group of one or more word lines immediately adjacent the selected word line and progressing to other groups of one or more word lines disposed increasingly remote from the selected word line.

Abstract: Command line inputs to a system by a user or automated script can comprise a number of legitimate commands but, as a series, reveal a reconnaissance attack, such as to gain knowledge of a system without a legitimate reason to do so. A trained artificial intelligence monitors the command line inputs to the system, as a series, and determines therefrom whether a match exists to a reconnaissance attack. The match may be a non-exact match, such as a match determined by a long short-term memory (LSTM) machine learning model. A reconnaissance attack response may then be initiated upon determining a match is present.

Abstract: A vehicle includes a cabin interior, at least one seat located in the cabin interior, a support structure located near the at least one seat, and a workstation coupled to the support structure. The workstation includes a desk having a first desk panel and a second desk panel that moves relative to the first desk panel, a display screen, and a pivot mechanism coupled to the desk and the display screen and configured to allow the desk and the display screen to pivot relative to the support structure, wherein the desk and the display screen are configured to pivot to a vehicle downward position folded together and upward deployed use positions such that the desk may extend substantially horizontal in the use position and the display screen may extend upward relative to the desk.

Abstract: A product for adsorbing one or more PFAS from a liquid is disclosed. The product may comprise attapulgite or sepiolite that has been surface functionalized with (a) a quaternary amine surface coating solution that comprises a mono-quaternary amine compound or a di-quaternary amine compound and (b) a mercapto surface coating solution that comprises a surface coating agent that includes one or more mercapto groups that chemically bond to the attapulgite or sepiolite surface. When the quaternary amine surface coating solution includes the mono-quaternary amine compound, the product is free of di-quaternary amines. When the quaternary amine surface coating solution includes the di-quaternary amine compound, the product is free of mono-quaternary amines. Also disclosed is a method of producing the product and a method of adsorbing a PFAS in a liquid using the product.

Abstract: The present invention provides a compound of Formula (I) and pharmaceutical compositions comprising one or more said compounds, and methods for using said compounds for treating or preventing one or more disease states that could benefit from inhibition of plasma kallikrein, including hereditary angioedema, uveitis, posterior uveitis, wet age related macular edema, diabetic macular edema, diabetic retinopathy and retinal vein occlusion. The compounds are selective inhibitors of plasma kallikrein.
