Abstract: Implementations described herein relate to providing device messages in image compilations based on user content. A computer-implemented method includes determining that a playback mode is entered on a device to display one or more image compilations, each image compilation including images for successive display. Message criteria are obtained for device messages, each device message indicating a device function associated with images of the image compilations or of a user image library. A device message is selected based on associated message criteria. An image is identified in the user image library, the image being in the image compilations, depicts a type of image feature in the image compilations, and/or has characteristic(s) modifiable by the device function. The device message is displayed during image compilation playback and includes the identified image and a message control option. In response to user selection of the message control option, the device function is initiated.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for generating a virtual card number (VCN) associated with a credit card having a primary account number (PAN). The algorithm used matches the last 4 digits of the VCN to the last 4 digits of the PAN. By matching the last 4 digits of the VCN to the PAN, customer confusion is avoided, and VCNs may be more widely deployed, reducing the number of PAN reissuances that occur. The implementation of this feature is possible using the specific technique disclosed herein that uses multiple, rotating bank identification numbers (BIN) to expand the universe of available PANs to scales that can support a working implementation. The approach further describes accepting both a PAN card verification value (CVV) and a VCN CVV to authorize transactions. The approach also allows the synchronizing of expiration dates between a VCN and a PAN to further ease the burden of administering VCNs.

Abstract: The techniques include a memory device receiving a data write instruction. The memory device programs the memory cells of the memory blocks to a one bit per memory cell (SLC) format with a first and second SLC data states. In response to the data programmed to the memory cells of the memory blocks reaching an SLC limit prior to completion of the data write instruction, without erasing the memory cells, the memory device programs at least some of the memory cells from the SLC format to a two bits per memory cell (MLC) format. When programming from the SLC format to the MLC format, the memory device inhibits programming of some of the memory cells in the first and second SLC data states to form a first MLC data state and programs other memory cells of the SLC data states to form second, third, and fourth MLC data states.

The technique uses a suggestion-generating system (SGS) to provide one or more suggestions to a user in response to at least a last-submitted query provided by the user. The SGS may correspond to a classification-type or generative-type neural network. The SGS uses a machine-trained model that is trained using a multi-task training framework based on plural groups of training examples, which, in turn, are produced using different respective example-generating methods. One such example-generating method constructs a training example from queries in a search session. It operates by identifying the task-related intent the queries, and then identifying at least one sequence of queries in the search session that exhibits a coherent task-related intent. A training example is constructed based on queries in such a sequence.
