  • Patent number: 11847433
Abstract: A change to a first version of source code of an application that is running with a debugger attached is identified, resulting in a second version of the source code. It is determined whether the change occurred with corresponding software suspended or not. The change is applied to the software without restarting the software, based on applying the change using edit and continue (EnC) when the change occurred with the software suspended, or applying the change using hot reload when the change occurred with the software not suspended. Subsequently, the software is suspended, and debug state is presented. The presentation includes presenting the second version of the source code after EnC, or after hot reload and when the software is suspended in an updated memory entity; or presenting the first version of the source code after hot reload and when the software is suspended in a stale memory entity.

  • Patent number: 11848951
Abstract: A hybrid-fabric apparatus comprises a black box memory configured to store a plurality of behavior metrics and an anomaly agent coupled to the black box. The anomaly agent determines a baseline vector corresponding to nominal behavior of the fabric, wherein the baseline vector comprises at least two different behavior metrics that are correlated with each other. The anomaly agent disaggregates anomaly detection criteria into a plurality of anomaly criterion to be distributed among network nodes in the fabric, the anomaly detection criteria characterizing a variation from the baseline vector, and each of the plurality of anomaly criterion comprising a function of a measured vector of behavior metrics. The variation can be calculated based on a variation function applied to a vector of measured behavior metrics having elements corresponding to member elements of the baseline vector. Anomaly criterion statuses calculated by at least some of the network nodes are aggregated.

  • Patent number: 11847181
Abstract: A “while away” canvas is described herein. A client computing device detects that a page that comprises search results is displayed on a display of the client computing device, wherein the search results were identified based upon a query received from the client computing device. The client computing device subsequently detects that focus of the user has left the page. Upon detecting that focus of the user has returned to the page, the client computing device updates the page to include the “while away” canvas, which identifies additional search results (based upon the query) that were published after the page that comprises the search results was initially displayed.
