  • Patent number: 11845061
Abstract: Some variations provide an interspersed assembly of nanoparticles, the assembly comprising a first phase containing first nanoparticles and a second phase containing second nanoparticles, wherein the second phase is interspersed with the first phase, and wherein the first nanoparticles are compositionally different than the second nanoparticles. The interspersed assembly may be a semi-ordered assembly comprising discrete first-phase particles surrounded by a continuous second phase. Other variations provide a core-shell assembly of nanoparticles, the assembly comprising a first phase containing first nanoparticles and a second phase containing compositionally distinct second nanoparticles, wherein the second phase forms a shell surrounding a core of the first phase. The disclosed assemblies may have a volume from 1 ?m3 to 1 mm3, a packing fraction from 20% to 100%, and an average relative surface roughness less than 5%, for example.

  • Patent number: 11847141
Abstract: Storage of data according to mapped reliability groups (MRGs) of mapped redundant arrays of independent nodes (mapped clusters) is disclosed. Real reliability groups (RRGs) of a real cluster can provide compartmentalization that can reduce a probability of a data loss event occurring in a cluster storage system. MRGs for a mapped cluster employing the RRGs of the real cluster can provide additional compartmentalization that can further reduce a probability of a data loss event occurring. A data protection set can be stored according to a first group of MRGs and a redundant representation of the data protection set can be stored according to a second group of MRGs, wherein a network distance between the first and second group of MRGs is greater than a network distance between constituent MRGs of either the first or second group of MRGs.

  • Patent number: 11847236
Abstract: The present teaching relates to a method, system, and programming for encrypted searching. In a search session, a uniform resource locator (URL) is received, wherein a portion of the URL is encrypted via a first key. A second key associated with the first key is obtained. A determination is made regarding whether a time-related criterion associated with the second key is satisfied. In response to the time-related criterion being satisfied, the portion of the URL is decrypted based on the second key to obtain a keyword, one or more search results are obtained based on the keyword, and a webpage including the one or more search results to be provided to a user is generated.

  • Patent number: 11845222
Abstract: An additive manufacturing technique uses digital mask-based illumination and a polar-based build environment for increased throughput. In one embodiment, the build environment comprises a rotating element having a surface. A coater is configured to deposit photopolymer material on the rotating element at a given flow rate. As the element rotates and the coater deposits the photopolymer material, a radiation source of an image scanning system projects an array of point sources (an image) onto the photopolymer material for an exposure time to cure a given layer. As the photopolymer material is deposited layer-upon-layer, and for each layer, a control system adjusts a relative position of the coater with respect to the surface, adjusts a speed of rotation of the rotating element, and maintains the flow rate and the exposure time constant.
