Abstract: An agricultural baler includes a main bale chamber in which crop material is compressed into bales. The main bale chamber includes an inlet for receiving a wad of crop material from a pre-compression chamber of the agricultural baler, and an outlet for discharge of compressed crop material into a bale. The bale includes a plurality of flakes that are incrementally added to form the bale. A bale length sensor is configured to determine a current length of the bale as the bale is being formed in the main bale chamber. A controller is configured to estimate a completed length of the bale during formation of the bale based on (i) the current length of the bale being formed and (ii) a predicted thickness of an impending flake to be added to the bale.

Abstract: A foldable computing device comprises a first portion, a second portion, a hinge assembly rotatably coupling the first portion to the second portion, and a flexible display. The flexible display extends at least partially across the first portion and at least partially across the second portion, and spans the hinge assembly between the first portion and the second portion. The hinge assembly includes a hinge core, a first linkage component rotatably coupling the hinge core to the first portion and forming a portion of a backing support for the flexible display, and a first hinge guide rotatably coupling the hinge core to the first portion. The hinge assembly further includes a second linkage component rotatably coupling the hinge core to the second portion and forming another portion of the backing support for the flexible display, and a second hinge guide rotatably coupling the hinge core to the second portion.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for adjusting a user nourishment selection based on nutrient diversity, the apparatus comprising at least a processor and a memory communicatively connected to the at least a processor, the memory containing instructions configuring the at least a processor to receive a proposed user selection relating to nourishment, wherein the proposed user selection comprises a plurality of ingredients, evaluate each ingredient of the plurality of ingredients, wherein evaluating each ingredient includes extracting at least a nutrient from each ingredient of the plurality of ingredients and calculating a nutrient biodiversity score for the at least a nutrient, optimize the plurality of ingredients as a function of each nutrient biodiversity score, and adjust the plurality of ingredients as a function of the optimization of the plurality of ingredients.

Abstract: An authentication system (AS) includes a radio frequency (RF) tag reader and operates by: assigning pairing data to be associated with an RF tag and a corresponding object to be authenticated wherein the pairing data includes a tag identifier, a private key, a public key, a first random number and a first AS hash based on the first random number; pairing the authentication system to the RF tag associated with the object; receiving a request to authenticate the object; and when first tag hash matches first tag hash check data, generating first read event data that indicates authentication of the object.

Abstract: A light emitting apparatus includes a light source, a unitary formed heat sink with a plurality of heat dissipating fins, a lensed enclosure that retains a light source and at least one power consuming device other than the light source. The lensed enclosure includes a recessed opening having at least a first wall that terminates at a substantially perpendicular second wall. The plurality of heat dissipating fins are disposed on at least one adjacent exterior side of the walled enclosure, the fins extending outwardly. At least one fin coupled to the heat sink extends beyond the light source, and the heat generated by the light source travels by conduction laterally through the heat sink to the at least one coupled fin.

Abstract: A system for simulating network configurations includes data processing hardware and memory hardware in communication with the data processing hardware. The memory hardware stores instructions that when executed on the data processing hardware cause the data processing hardware to perform operations. The operation includes receiving one or more parameter changes for a production network model of a network. The operations also include generating a simulation network model including the one or more parameter changes. Another operation includes analyzing the simulated network flow within the simulation network model. The operations also include generating a report including an impact of the parameter changes on the network. The operations may also include receiving a production network log including a recorded workflow for the production network model and simulating the production workflow of the production network log within the simulation network model to generate a simulated network log.

Abstract: When a user of a mobile telephone moves into an area lacking wireless service, the user may be hindered in various respects, including losing the ability to retrieve a remotely stored map. This may be inconvenient and may have safety implications if the user is in a remote area, e.g., hiking, or in a disabled vehicle. As such, systems and methods to map localized wireless coverage are provided.

Abstract: For one embodiment of the present disclosure, a computer implemented method provides deterministic multi-objective constrained optimization for a planning system of an autonomous vehicle (AV). The computer implemented method comprises initializing a planning solver with a plurality of candidate trajectories for an autonomous vehicle, selecting two or more optimal candidate trajectories that potentially satisfy all constraints and evaluating these two or more optimal candidate trajectories in parallel asynchronously using cost functions, determining whether a cost threshold is violated for a node in a temporarily ordered sequence of nodes for a branch of each of the two or more optimal candidate trajectories, and intentionally stopping branch evaluation early for a branch having a cost threshold violation.

Abstract: An agricultural baler includes a main bale chamber; a bale length sensor that is configured to determine a length of the bale as the bale is being formed in the main bale chamber and output a bale length signal representative of the bale length; a knotter that is configured to wrap and tie twine around the bale in the main bale chamber; and a controller that is configured to output a knotter cycle initiation signal to the knotter when the length of the bale, as determined in the controller by the bale length signal, reaches a pre-determined bale length threshold value, and wherein the knotter cycle initiation signal actuates the knotter to wrap and tie twine around the bale. A remote control device, which is remote from the baler, is configured to communicate with the controller to remotely adjust the pre-determined bale length threshold value.

As the real-world users are viewing this virtual event, these users can virtually interact with the virtual event, for example, move around the virtual event to view the virtual event at various locations and/or modify parameters, characteristics, and/or attributes of the virtual event. Thereafter, the event simulation system can propagate these modifications across multiple real-world users of the event simulation system to allow these real-world users to collaboratively interact with the virtual event.

Abstract: Methods and systems for treating an olefin-containing stream are disclosed. The disclosed methods and systems are particularly suitable for treating an off-gas stream in a refining or petrochemical process, such as from a fluid catalytic cracker (FCC), coker, steam cracker, and the like. The stream is treated in an absorber column to reject lighter stream components and to absorb ethylene and/or propylene into a solvent. The solvent is typically isobutane. The enriched solvent stream from the absorber column is fed to an alkylation reactor, which reacts the dissolved olefin with the isobutane solvent to produce an alkylate product.
