    Abstract: A field effect transistor includes a gate dielectric and a gate electrode overlying an active region and contacting a sidewall of a trench isolation structure. The transistor may be a fringeless transistor in which the gate electrode does not overlie a portion of the trench isolation region. A planar dielectric spacer plate and a conductive gate cap structure may overlie the gate electrode. The conductive gate cap structure may have a z-shaped vertical cross-sectional profile to contact the gate electrode and to provide a segment overlying the planar dielectric spacer plate. Alternatively or additionally, a conductive gate connection structure may be provided to provide electrical connection between two electrodes of adjacent field effect transistors.

A first line pattern has a first angular distance between adjacent bright portions, and a second line pattern has a second angular distance between adjacent bright portions. The camera captures at least one image of the first line pattern and the second line pattern. The camera is a first distance from the first LPG and a second distance from the second LPG. The processor identifies a target object illuminated by the first and second line patterns and determines a distance to the target object based on the appearance of the target object as illuminated by the first and second line patterns.

In embodiments a model is trained using a first pair of visual and audio networks to train a set of codebooks using known visual signals and the audio signals and using a second pair of visual and audio networks to further train the set of codebooks using the augmented visual signals and the augmented audio signals. Further, the first and the second visual networks are equally weighted and where the first and the second audio networks are equally weighted. In aspects of the present disclosure, the set of codebooks comprise a visual codebook, an audio codebook and a correlation codebook.

    Abstract: A method and system for increasing dampening capacity utilizing dry friction between individual wires of a rope embedded in a molded component formed from a composite. The individual wires allow inter-wire friction to occur during part vibration. The amount of inter-wire friction is controlled by the pressure when the component is molded. The component includes a body that is a molded matrix formed form a composite material. The body may be of any material selected from the group consisting of a polymer, a metal or a ceramic material. One or more vibration-dampening ropes are embedded in the body. The vibration-dampening ropes may be elongated segments or may be a rope having connected ends that form one or more rings. The vibration-dampening rope includes at least outer wires and can further include a plurality of inner wires surrounded by the outer wires. Composite material is prevented from passing through the outer wires, thereby forming voids between the wires.

When incoming IO having attributes similar to that type is received, implementation of the forwarding rule causes the incoming IO to be directed to the namespace. Attributes of a particular incoming IO are determined. As a result of the attributes satisfying a similarity threshold relative to the type, the forwarding rule is implemented such that the particular incoming IO is directed to the namespace.

In one or more embodiments, performing the delete operation, the rename operation, and the copy operation on the copy of the previous backup generates a first synthetic full backup of the source data.

Thereafter, the data segments are stored in the storage system.
