Abstract: An enhanced smart lighting system (ESLS) for use in buildings without neutral wire connections for wall switches. The ESLS entails both a no-neutral wire smart lighting switch (NNWSLS) and a physically separate load adapter. The NNWSLS includes a sensing, control, or communication system (SSCCS) such as integrated WiFi. The load adapter mitigates electrical fluctuations which may be induced in a power load (for example a lightbulb) by the smart lighting switch, particularly when the smart lighting switch is nominally powered off but still has some current flow. The load adapter is an intermediary between the power load and a conventional load receptacle. The load adapter has an integrated dummy load configured in parallel with the power load. The dummy load provides an electrical pathway for low levels of electricity which run through the light socket even when the NNWSLS is set to an “off” configuration.

Abstract: An apparatus for the automated filling of cartridges of e-vapor devices may include a filling drum configured to receive at least one cartridge of an e-vapor device. The apparatus may additionally include a needle assembly including at least one hypodermic needle. The needle assembly is configured to transition between a lowered state and a raised state. The lowered state is where the hypodermic needle is moved down into the cartridge, while the raised state is where the hypodermic needle is lifted up and away from the cartridge. The apparatus may further include a pump assembly configured to pump a pre-vapor formulation into the cartridge when the needle assembly is in the lowered state. The pump assembly may include a variable amplitude cam system configured to adjust an amount of the pre-vapor formulation for pumping to the cartridge without changing start and stop times for the pumping.

Abstract: A cylindrical burner apparatus and method which produce low NOx emissions and low noise levels without being dependent upon a blower, or natural draft, for providing air flow or flue gas recirculation. A flow of combustion air is induced into the initial tube pass of the burner by discharging a gas fuel from a plurality of discharge ports located in the initial tube pass. At the same time, a flow of recycled flue gas is induced through a bypass duct between a subsequent tube pass of the burner and the initial tube pass by discharging one or more jets of gas fuel through the bypass duct.
Abstract: A solution for spreadsheet table transformation is provided. In this solution, one or more header areas and a data area of a spreadsheet table are detected. A hierarchical structure of each of the header areas is determined by analysis of cell merging and/or indents in the header area, and/or a function relationship between data items in corresponding cells of the data area. The spreadsheet table can be transformed to a relational table based on recognition of the hierarchical structure of the header area. In this way, by facilitating understanding of header structures based on the header hierarchy, it is possible to achieve automated transformation from spreadsheet tables to relational tables.

Abstract: Direct ink write (DIW) printing of reactive resins presents a unique challenge due to the time-dependent nature of the rheological and chemical properties of the ink. As a result, careful print optimization or process control is important to obtain consistent, high quality prints. The present invention uses a flow-through characterization cell for in situ chemical monitoring of a resin ink during DIW printing. Additionally, in-line extrusion force monitoring can be combined with off-line post inspection using machine vision. By combining in-line spectroscopy and force monitoring, it is possible to follow reaction kinetics (for example, curing of a reactive resin) and viscosity changes during printing, which can be used for a closed-loop process control. Additionally, the capability of machine vision to automatically identify and quantify print artifacts can be incorporated on the printing line to enable real-time, AI-assisted quality control of the printed products.

Abstract: A system and method for determining the flow of one or more business terms between a plurality of software applications. The system includes extracting data from the source code data which includes a plurality of technical artifacts. An application model unit generates an application model that includes a representation of selected data components of the extracted data and generates application model data that includes data representative of a plurality of business terms and a plurality of technical artifacts. A term identification identifies the business terms and a mapping unit maps together the plurality of business terms and the plurality of technical artifacts from the application model data to form map data. A term lineage determination unit determines an inter-application lineage of the business terms based on the map data. The inter-application lineage is representative of data paths associated with the business term flowing between the software applications.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus are disclosed regarding an e-commerce system that maintains references between products and relevant content. In some embodiments, methods and/or apparatus obtain content from one or more content providers via a computer network, identify a product from a product catalog of an electronic database that is related to the obtained content; and update references to relevant content maintained in an electronic database for the product to include a reference to the obtained content.
Abstract: A telecommunications patch panel system (10) including a plurality of multiport telecommunications bezel assemblies (200) installed within a panel frame (100) is presented. The bezel assemblies (200) are formed from cooperating first and second frame parts (210, 240) to define a plurality of jack receptacle openings (202). In one example, the plurality of jack receptacles (202) are arranged in a two-row array. The first and second frame parts (210, 240) also retain a central bonding strip (290) having a plurality of grounding contact elements (292, 293). The grounding contact elements (292, 293) ground the jack modules (120) that are installed within the bezel assembly jack receptacle openings (202). Where a two-row array of jack receptacle openings (202) is provided, the central bonding strip (290) can be configured to extend between the rows. The central bonding strip (290) can provide grounding for multiple bezel assemblies (200).
