Abstract: A network node in a peer-to-peer network of nodes includes at least one processor, at least one memory, and at least one network interface. The at least one processor is configured to receive a request to transfer a security token and execute a plurality of compliance rules associated with the security token. At least one of the compliance rules is implemented using at least one smart contract. The at least one smart contract references a global registry. The at least one processor is also configured to transfer the security token based on the execution of the compliance rules. The global registry includes personally identifiable information (PII) hash(es) for each of at least one investor associated with the transfer of the security token. The hashes are committed to the distributed ledger and updated when PII of a respective one of the at least one investor changes.

Abstract: A method is provided for synchronizing timing in phase and frequency of clocks associated with a plurality of radio nodes (RNs) in a small cell radio access network (RAN) having an access controller operatively coupled to each of the RNs. In accordance with the method, a donor list is generated for each given RN in the RAN. The donor list represents an ordered list of potential wireless access points that are able to serve as a source of a wireless sync signal for the given RN. The donor lists are distributed to the respective RNs. An access point is selected by each of the RNs from their respective donor lists to use as a sync signal source. Each of the RNs synchronize their respective clocks in phase and frequency using wireless sync signals received from the respective selected access points.

Abstract: A wireless device may receive first configuration parameters for uplink LBT failure recovery. The wireless device may create a transport block, comprising an LBT failure MAC CE, scheduled for transmission via a first cell at a first timing. The wireless device may trigger consistent LBT failure for the first cell based on the first configuration parameters and before the first timing. In response to the triggering, the wireless device may drop or transmit the transport block based on one or more conditions.

Abstract: The present disclosure includes one or more resilient members for use in an apparatus used to form lapping plates. The resilient members can permit processing members such as charging elements and shaving blades to conform to irregularities in surface topography of lapping plate platens.

Abstract: Various embodiments of a sailing vessel are disclosed configured to reduce a heeling moment acting on the sailing vessel as a wind acts on a sail of the sailing vessel. Generally, a mast of the sailing vessel is allowed to cant to leeward, thus reducing the heeling moment.

Abstract: An apparatus includes a fan and a controller configured for controlling the fan to operate in a first mode limiting rotational speed of the fan within a first range of speeds between a first minimum speed and a first maximum speed. The controller is further configured to control the fan to operate in a second mode limiting rotational speed of the fan within a second range of speeds between a second minimum speed and a second maximum speed. The second range of speeds may be narrower than the first range of speeds. Related methods are also disclosed.

Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for improvements in cloud services by sharing estimated and actual usage data of cloud services recipients with the cloud services provider. The sharing of this data allows the cloud services provider to better apportion cloud resources between multiple cloud services recipients. By analyzing information included in the shared data (e.g., information about one or more applications that use the cloud resources), the cloud services provider may categorize the applications and/or the functions of those applications into authorized and unauthorized uses, the determination of which, is used to further efficiently apportion the cloud services resources.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for generating personalized menus and a media content interface are provided. In one example, different device specific media asset lists are generated at different user devices for the same user based on the media consumption history at each device. In another example, media asset listings are displayed for multicast and on-demand media assets determined to be of interest to the user. An on-demand media asset is listed at a time when no other multicast media assets are listed. In another example, media asset listings for successive episodes of a media series are displayed in sequential order in response to an input to view successive episodes of a media series. In another example, a text search for media content is performed in which the search priority of media provider results is decreased relative to the search priority of media asset results as additional characters are added to a search string.

Abstract: Speaker mounting systems configured to assembly a line array coupled to a support are provided. The mounting systems generally include an engagement system having a hanger assembly with a boom arm including upper connection points. In a first speaker, the upper connection points can be operably coupled to the support. The line array can include a second speaker having an engagement system including a hanger assembly having a boom arm with upper connection points operably coupled to the lower connection points of the first speaker. The boom arm of the second speaker can be pivotably coupled to the second speaker such that the boom arm is adjustable between at least a first position, corresponding to a first splay angle between front faces of the first and second speakers, and a second position, corresponding to a second splay angle between the front faces of the first and second speakers.

Abstract: A drug composition in solid drug matrix formulation comprising clonidine, midazolam, and fentanyl. The amounts of the drug contained in the solid drug matrix are sufficient to induce sedation in preparation for a clinical procedure. When administered in the mouth, the drug ingredients are absorbed by transmucosal passage. This solid drug matrix formulation may be particularly useful in pediatric dentistry practice. Also disclosed is a method of inducing sedation in a patient by administering the solid drug matrix formulation to the patient prior to performing a clinical procedure.

Responsive to the error incident, a remote error logging system is queried for reports of the error incident by one or more additional electronic devices. The error incident is determined to have or have not been reported by the one or more additional electronic devices. A report of the error incident is transmitted to the remote error logging system based on the determination. An adjustment to the electronic device is applied to resolve the error incident. The adjustment is, for example, an amendment to the behavior of a component of the electronic device where the error incident occurred.

Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to dynamically and temporarily adjusting power to an NFC reader of a computing device from a first power level to a second power level based on a feedback mechanism between a contactless card and the computing device. The contactless card may provide a message containing a checksum. The computing device may receive the message and calculate a checksum based on the received message. By comparing these two checksums, it may be determined whether the entire message has been correctly received. If not, the power to the NFC reader may be temporarily increased to allow better communication between the contactless card and the computing device.
