Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for improvements in cloud services by sharing estimated and actual usage data of cloud services recipients with the cloud services provider. The sharing of this data allows the cloud services provider to better apportion cloud resources between multiple cloud services recipients. By analyzing information included in the shared data (e.g., information about one or more applications that use the cloud resources), the cloud services provider may categorize the applications and/or the functions of those applications into authorized and unauthorized uses, the determination of which, is used to further efficiently apportion the cloud services resources.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for generating personalized menus and a media content interface are provided. In one example, different device specific media asset lists are generated at different user devices for the same user based on the media consumption history at each device. In another example, media asset listings are displayed for multicast and on-demand media assets determined to be of interest to the user. An on-demand media asset is listed at a time when no other multicast media assets are listed. In another example, media asset listings for successive episodes of a media series are displayed in sequential order in response to an input to view successive episodes of a media series. In another example, a text search for media content is performed in which the search priority of media provider results is decreased relative to the search priority of media asset results as additional characters are added to a search string.

Abstract: Speaker mounting systems configured to assembly a line array coupled to a support are provided. The mounting systems generally include an engagement system having a hanger assembly with a boom arm including upper connection points. In a first speaker, the upper connection points can be operably coupled to the support. The line array can include a second speaker having an engagement system including a hanger assembly having a boom arm with upper connection points operably coupled to the lower connection points of the first speaker. The boom arm of the second speaker can be pivotably coupled to the second speaker such that the boom arm is adjustable between at least a first position, corresponding to a first splay angle between front faces of the first and second speakers, and a second position, corresponding to a second splay angle between the front faces of the first and second speakers.

An apparatus includes at least a processor and a memory communicatively connected to the at least a processor. A memory contains instructions configuring at least a processor to receive aircraft data from a sensing device. A sensing device is configured to measure a parameter of an electric aircraft and generate aircraft data. At least a processor is configured to determine a most limiting parameter of an electric aircraft as a function of aircraft data. At least a processor is configured to communicate a most limiting parameter to a pilot indicator in communication with the at least a processor and memory communicatively connected to the at least a processor. A pilot indicator is configured to display a most limiting parameter to a user.

Abstract: A document to be stored on a network-based storage system is identified. The document includes one or more macros in a first programming language. An object referenced by a function defined by a macro of the one or more macros is identified. The function is converted into one or more sets of operations represented in a second programming language. Each set of operations corresponds to one of one or more candidate object types associated with the object. At least one of the one or more sets of operations is to be performed with respect to the object responsive to indication of a corresponding candidate object type for the object during execution of the macro. The document including the one or more sets of operations represented in the second programming language is stored on the network-based storage system.

Abstract: An antenna assembly includes: a wearable antenna including a conductive signal layer having a radiating surface; a feed conductive layer; and an insulating layer in between the conductive signal layer and the feed conductive layer, and wherein the conductive signal layer, the feed conductive layer, and the insulating layer are fabric-based, wherein the wearable antenna is shaped and sized to be embedded in a subject's clothing with sufficient flexibility to be stretched and bent as the subject implanted with a passive implantable stimulator device maintains routine daily activities, and wherein the wearable antenna is electrically tuned and configured to have the radiating surface of the conductive signal layer facing the subject's skin and a feed point of the feed conductive layer connecting to a controller such that the wearable antenna is non-inductively coupled to the implanted passive stimulator device to supply power the passive implantable stimulator device wirelessly and non-inductively.

Abstract: An exemplary embroidery accessory for a sewing machine includes a spool that is rotatable around a first vertical axis, a support rotatably attached to the sewing machine and to the spool, a sewing guide, and a mechanism for rotating the support around a second vertical axis of rotation. The spool receives and dispenses a length of embroidery material and is supported above a sewing bed of the sewing machine by the support. The sewing guide has a needle opening configured to receive a needle of the sewing machine and to guide the embroidery material toward the needle.

Abstract: A vehicle suspension assembly includes a trailing axle carried by a frame of the assembly. The frame can retract to a retracted state from an extended state and extend from the retracted state to the extended state. The retraction and extension can occur along a longitudinal axis of the frame. An operator can pivotally raise and lower a free end of frame in the retracted or extended state along an arcuate path when the vehicle suspension assembly connects to a vehicle.

An example system may include an energy and compute facility having a compute resource, and an energy source or an energy utilization requirement. The system may also include a controller having a facility description circuit to interpret detected conditions, and a facility configuration circuit to operate an adaptive learning system. The adaptive learning system is configured to adjust a facility configuration based on the detected conditions, wherein adjusting the facility configuration includes adjusting a utilization of the compute resource and at least one additional facility resource.

Abstract: In some examples, a control system for a vehicle can detect a set of ultrasonic signals generated by a mobile computing device of a user. Additionally, the control system can determine a pin code from the set of ultrasonic signals. Moreover, the control system can perform one or more vehicle operations to initiate fulfillment of a transport request that is associated with the determined pin code, upon the user being determined to be within a given proximity distance of the vehicle.

Abstract: A drug composition in solid drug matrix formulation comprising clonidine, midazolam, and fentanyl. The amounts of the drug contained in the solid drug matrix are sufficient to induce sedation in preparation for a clinical procedure. When administered in the mouth, the drug ingredients are absorbed by transmucosal passage. This solid drug matrix formulation may be particularly useful in pediatric dentistry practice. Also disclosed is a method of inducing sedation in a patient by administering the solid drug matrix formulation to the patient prior to performing a clinical procedure.

Abstract: A golf swing training device includes a sleeve or strap arrangement to be worn about the elbow of a golfer's leading arm and an elbow bracing assembly attached to or integrated with the sleeve or strap arrangement. The elbow bracing assembly includes pivotally connected first and second brace members and a lock bar slidable within the first and second brace members between a locked position and an unlocked position. The lock bar in the locked position substantially prevents pivotal movement of the first and second brace members, thereby preventing bending of the elbow of the leading arm during a back-swing and down-swing portions of a golf swing. The lock bar in the unlocked position allows pivotal movement of the first and second brace members, thereby allowing the device to bend with bending of the elbow of the leading arm during an up-swing portion of the golf swing.

Abstract: An improved bolt and bolt carrier with integral gas key having an extension nozzle threadedly secured and pinned to the gas key for use with a direct gas operated firearm is provided. The extension nozzle is designed to receive a portion of the host firearm's gas operating system. The firing pin retaining pin is oriented so as to expose its widest profile to the firing pin's annular flange, increasing its service life. The bolt has a plurality of lugs extending from its forward end. The extractor recess is constructed so that the face of the bolt is round and the adjacent lugs fully supported. The extractor engages approximately 17% more of a seated ammunition cartridge's rim as compared to the prior art AR15/M16 extractor. The result is an improved bolt and bolt carrier which provides for increased operational reliability.

Abstract: A magnetic field sensor includes a lead frame, a passive component, semiconductor die supporting a magnetic field sensing element and attached to the lead frame, a non-conductive mold material enclosing the die and at least a portion of the lead frame, and a ferromagnetic mold material secured to a portion of the non-conductive mold material. The lead frame has a recessed region and the passive component is positioned in the recessed region. The ferromagnetic mold material may comprise a soft ferromagnetic material to form a concentrator or a hard ferromagnetic material to form a bias magnet.

Abstract: According to one general aspect, a computing device may include an application configured to create a tab in a context of a window, and a window manager configured to register the tab with a first UI element registry. The window manager may be configured to receive, over a network, at least a portion of a second UI element registry from a secondary window manager of a secondary computing device. The portion of the second UI element registry may identify a remote tab previously registered with the secondary window manager. The window manager may be configured to cause a display to provide a graphical arrangement of the tab and the remote tab.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for differentiating an XR device from other devices when initiating communications with an Internet gateway. Initially the XR device sends a probe request to the Internet gateway, where the probe request includes an identifier of the device type and network requirements of the XR device. It is determined that the particular device type and network requirements in the probe request are supported by the Internet gateway, and is communicated to the XR device in the form of a probe response. A communication session is set up between the XR device, the Internet gateway, and a network, the communication session including QoS control based on the device type and network requirements of the XR device.
