  • Patent number: 11811899
Abstract: A virtual machine host may provide IPv4 connections to IPv4 virtual machine guests and map the connections to IPv6 networks. The IPv6 addressed exposed by the virtual machine host may be used in an IPv6 environment to communicate with the virtual machine guests, enabling various IPv6 connected scenarios for the IPv4 virtual machines. The virtual machine host may receive IPv6 communications, and translate those communications to IPv4 to communicate with the virtual machine guests. Similarly, the outbound IPv4 communications may be translated into IPv6 for communications to the IPv6 network.

  • Patent number: 11809493
Abstract: A non-tokenized string is received. For example, a non-tokenized string could be a credit card number. The non-tokenized string is partitioned into a plurality of non-tokenized substrings. For example, if the credit card number is 16 digits long, it may be partitioned into substrings that are three, six, and seven digits in length. The non-tokenized substrings are used as an index into a plurality of lookup tables. As a result of the indexing, a plurality of tokenized substrings are retrieved. The plurality of tokenized substrings are combined into a tokenized string. The tokenized string is used as a token that represents the credit card number without disclosing the actual credit card number. The reverse of the above process can also occur.

  • Patent number: 11808003
Abstract: The method of repairing a manhole begins with assembling concrete forms above ground to correspond to the shape of the manhole wall. Then, a plastic liner sheet is wrapped around the assembled forms and the seams are welded. The forming sections are then removed, and the liner is placed in the manhole. An annular space exists between the liner and the manhole wall. The forming sections are re-assembled inside the liner. Concrete is then poured into the annular space and allowed to cure. The forming sections are removed, leaving the liner anchored in a new monolithic concrete wall fully engaging the old manhole wall.

  • Patent number: 11806772
Abstract: A hydrostatic/hydrodynamic fluid bearing assembly for a can bodymaker is provided. The hydrostatic/hydrodynamic fluid bearing assembly is separate from the ram body. The outboard guide bearing assembly includes a carriage assembly and a number of elongated journals. The carriage assembly includes a ram coupling, a crank coupling, and body defining a number of journal passages. The ram body is coupled to a ram coupling. The crank coupling is structured to be coupled to a crank arm. Each journal extends through a carriage assembly body journal passage. In this configuration, the ram body may form a can body in a traditional manner, but fluid bearing assembly fluid is not applied to the ram body. Instead, the fluid bearing assembly fluid is applied to the journals.

  • Patent number: 11807268
Abstract: Systems and methods for controlling an autonomous vehicle are described. A trajectory planner module provides a first trajectory to a trajectory control module. The trajectory control module determines parameters of the first trajectory. The trajectory control module compares the parameters to a respective threshold value. The trajectory control module obtains one or more alternative trajectories, determines parameters of each alternative trajectory, and compares the parameters of the alternative trajectory to a respective threshold value. The trajectory control module selects a trajectory for controlling the autonomous vehicle that has parameters which are within a range defined by the threshold values and controls the autonomous vehicle based on the selected trajectory. Thus, before handing back control to a driver, the trajectory control module selects from alternate trajectories for controlling the autonomous vehicle.

  • Patent number: 11810573
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for assisting speech recognition processing. If speech recognition processing of speech input by an individual does not yield a recognized result, for example, if speech is from an individual with compromised speech, an indication may be sent to a device associated with another person that can assist. The other person may provide, via that device, additional input that indicates the meaning of the speech input. Based on this additional input, an assisted speech recognition result may be determined.

  • Patent number: 11807248
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing continuous safe-driver training safely are provided. A safe-driving challenge may be presented to an operator of a vehicle. Data captured by sensors associated with the vehicle may be analyzed to determine whether the operator of the vehicle has completed the safe-driving challenge. Based on a determination that the operator of the vehicle has completed the safe-driving challenge, a notification may be provided to the operator (e.g., indicating to the operator that he or she has successfully completed the challenge). A processor may randomly select whether a reward is to be provided to the operator of the vehicle based on the determination that the operator of the vehicle has completed the safe-driving challenge. Moreover, if a reward is to be provided to the operator of the vehicle, a processor may randomly select a type of reward to be provided to the operator of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 11810278
Abstract: Techniques for generating a fused enhanced image. A first image is generated using a first camera of a first modality, and a second image is generated using a second camera of a second modality. Pixels that are common between the two images are identified. Textures for the common pixels are determined. A camera characteristic, which is linked to noise, is identified. A scaling factor is applied to the textures in the first image. A first saliency is determined using the scaled textures. A second saliency is determined using the textures from the second image. An alpha map is generated and reflects edge detection weights that have been computed for each one of the common pixels based on the two saliencies. Based on the alpha map, textures are merged from the common pixels to generate the fused enhanced image.

  • Patent number: 11808839
Abstract: Various arrangements for performing an initial setup process of a sleep tracking device are presented. User input may be received that requests a sleep tracking setup process be performed. In response to the user input, a detection process may be performed based on data received from the radar sensor to determine whether a user is present and static. In response to the detection process determining that the user is present and static, a consistency analysis may be performed over a time period to assess a duration of time that the user is present and static. Based on the consistency analysis, sleep tracking may be activated such that when the user is detected in bed via the radar sensor, the user's sleep is tracked.

  • Patent number: 11805810
Abstract: A vaping system includes a housing for selectively holding a first vaping device and a second vaping device. The first and second vaping devices each include a mouthpiece with a vapor outlet positioned towards a first edge. A first configuration within the housing spaces the vapor outlet of the first mouthpiece and the vapor outlet of the second mouthpiece by a first distance, and a second configuration within the housing spaces the vapor outlet of the first mouthpiece and the vapor outlet of the second mouthpiece by a second distance. The first distance is less than the second distance, the first configuration allowing the user to vape from the first and second vaping devices simultaneously and the second configuration allowing the user to separately vape from the first and second vaping devices. In another example, a connector with multiple configurations connects two or more vaping devices.
