  • Patent number: 11797434
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for managing storage devices. In some implementations, a memory controller receives a logical write request over a logical interface that the memory controller provides for accessing a non-volatile storage device. The logical write request indicates a logical address at which to write data to the non-volatile storage device. In response to receiving the logical write request, the memory controller sends a write request event to a host system. The memory controller receives a physical write command from the host system over a physical interface that the memory controller provides for accessing the non-volatile storage device. In response to receiving the physical write command, the memory controller stores the data in the non-volatile storage device according to the physical write command.

  • Patent number: 11799731
Abstract: Described are examples for providing management of a virtual wide area network (vWAN) based on operator policies. A network orchestrator presents, to a network operator, a representation of the vWAN including virtual network entities associated with respective geographic locations and virtual connections between the virtual network entities. The network orchestrator receives a policy for the virtual wide area network from the network operator via the representation, the policy to be implemented at one or more of the virtual connections. The network orchestrator translates the policy for the virtual wide area network into a configuration of an underlying wide area network (WAN). The underlying WAN a plurality of geographically distributed physical computing resources in geographic regions corresponding to the virtual network entities and connections there between.

  • Patent number: 11795450
Abstract: Array-based enzymatic oligonucleotide synthesis creates a large number of polynucleotides using an uncontrolled and template independent polymerase such as terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase (TdT). Spatial control of reaction conditions on the surface of the array allows creation of polynucleotides with a variety of arbitrary sequences. Spatial control may be implemented by removing protecting groups attached to nucleotides only at a selected location on the array or by other techniques such as location-specific regulation of enzymatic activity. The ratio of polynucleotides with protecting groups to unprotected polynucleotides used during a cycle of synthesis is adjusted to control the length of homopolymers created by the polymerase. Digital information may be encoded in the enzymatically synthesized polynucleotides.

  • Patent number: 11797619
Abstract: In an example embodiment, a first machine learned model is trained to produce output, and a second machine learned model is then trained using training data that has been labeled, at least partially, using the output of the first machine learned model. The first machine learned model is trained to output a measure of how strong a positive signal in the training data really is. Specifically, this measure indicates the level of intention of a user who has engaged in a first user interface action with respect to a piece of content to engage in a subsequent second user interface action with the same piece of content.
