Patent number: 11779242Abstract: Systems and methods use a three-dimensional snapshot of an infant, child, adolescent, or adult where the subject may have bent legs and an unaligned head position, to provide an estimate of human length. The system identifies anatomical features from the digital information and generates a virtual skeleton. The cumulative distances between pseudo-joints of the virtual skeleton provide an estimate of human length. Comparing length estimates from multiple three-dimensional snapshots of the same individual acquired over time provide an indication of growth of the infant, child, or adolescent. Daily estimates of length can detect growth faltering sooner than less frequent estimates of length, which can lead to timely intervention.Type: GrantFiled: June 2, 2022Date of Patent: October 10, 2023Assignee: PIXA4 LLCInventors: James Martin Swanson, Robert Clay Isenhart

Patent number: 11783327Abstract: Two models are first trained and then test images are applied to the two trained models in an effort to detect signature forgeries. The first model is trained with pairs of signature images and the resultant trained model is capable of detecting blind forgeries. The second model is trained with triplets of signature images and is capable of detecting skilled signature forgeries. After the two models are trained, test images are applied to the models and determinations are made as to whether a blind or skilled forgery is present.Type: GrantFiled: January 26, 2023Date of Patent: October 10, 2023Assignee: Walmart Apollo, LLCInventors: Souradip Chakraborty, Ojaswini Chhabra

Patent number: 11781937Abstract: Improved valve seal and integrity systems and methods are disclosed. Pressure in an internal cavity of a valve may be monitored and stored to assist in determining whether one or more seals in the valve are leaking. Internal cavity temperature may also be recorded and monitored to assist in determining whether there are any valve seal leaks. Expected pressure corresponding to a detected internal cavity pressure (that may be determined by correlating temperature and known fluid properties) may be compared to detected internal cavity pressure to assist in determining the existence of valve leaks. Internal cavity pressures and pressure differentials over time may be used to determine remaining valve seal life, leak severity, and/or integrity of a check valve on the valve. Indications of seal life, leak severity, seal integrity, and/or check valve integrity may be displayed to an end user or otherwise provided to a database or computer.Type: GrantFiled: March 25, 2023Date of Patent: October 10, 2023Assignee: DURASEAT LLCInventors: Gordon M. Patent number: 11783382Abstract: Methods and systems relating to generating and correlating metadata with a content item are disclosed. For example, a computing device may generate one or more timestamp indicators to be associated with a content item. Each timestamp indicator may be correlated to metadata and may be associated with a time point or time interval in a duration of the content item. A requesting device may generate a request for metadata that may comprise an identifier of a timestamp indicator. The request may be generated, for example, based on determining a user of the device is requesting display of an interactive application. Upon receiving a metadata request comprising an identifier of a timestamp indicator, a computing device may transmit metadata correlated to the timestamp indicator to the requesting device or to another user device.Type: GrantFiled: October 22, 2014Date of Patent: October 10, 2023Assignee: Comcast Cable Communications, LLCInventors: Pritesh Patel, Robert Dandrea

Patent number: 11785311Abstract: Systems and methods are described that relate to on-demand compression for electronic data, such as media content, through a communication pathway. The communication pathway may be configured to multicast media content to a plurality of end-users in a service group. In certain embodiments, the service group may comprise a service group node having a quadrature amplitude modulation device. In one exemplary method, it may be determined whether the amount of media content being transmitted meets a first utilization threshold. The determination may be based on, at least in part, by measurements taken at one or more electronic devices located throughout a network or system. If the first bandwidth utilization threshold is not met, media content may be transmitted in a first format. If the first bandwidth utilization threshold is met, at least a portion of the media content may be transmitted in a first optimized delivery technique.Type: GrantFiled: November 28, 2022Date of Patent: October 10, 2023Assignee: Comcast Cable Communications, LLCInventors: Tom Brown, Rick Gasloli
