Abstract: A firearm maintenance system may be utilized to clean, lubricate and protect a firearm. Embodiments of the invention provide for creating a sealed environment between the breech end and muzzle end of the barrel of the firearm and introducing a maintenance fluid into the sealed environment. The maintenance fluid may be circulated within the barrel in a closed circulation configuration by a pump. The maintenance fluid may be heated. An ultrasonic generator may be utilized to induce cavitation in the maintenance fluid to improve cleaning efficiency. Fluid flow sighting devices may be utilized to visibly monitor operation. Electronic means to monitor and safeguard the firearm maintenance system may also be employed.

Abstract: A remote sensor system comprising a laser transmitter that emits a pulse of broadband laser illumination comprising a plurality of wavelengths and a receiver configured to detect laser illumination backscatter. The sensor system further includes a computing system configured to determine a plurality of species number densities along a travel path of the laser illumination. Determining the plurality of species number densities includes determining a first number density of a first species based on a first set of optical transmission values from the backscatter data for a first subset of wavelengths of the plurality of wavelengths and a first attenuation cross-section of the first species. Additional species are determined based on additional sets of optical transmission values from the backscatter data for additional subsets of wavelengths of the plurality of wavelengths and additional cross-sections of additional species.

Abstract: Fireworthy sealants may have a variety of compositions and be made by a variety of techniques. In certain implementations, a fireworthy sealant may include a body comprised of a cured, tacky, soft, deformable non-adhesive gel. The gel body may have an upper surface, a lower surface, and a perimeter, wherein the upper and lower surfaces of the gel body, in an uncompressed state, define a body thickness. The sealant may, in an uncompressed state, be dimensioned to fit in a first opening between a wall and an aircraft component surface and deformable when under compression to fit in a second opening, smaller than the first opening. The sealant may be flame retardant and produce low smoke density and low smoke toxicity.

Abstract: A modular target structure is disclosed for supporting targets during target practice. An example modular target structure includes a first leg structure, a second leg structure, and an interconnecting member. The interconnecting member connects between the first leg structure and the second leg structure to form a substantially triangular shaped support structure which can be utilized in a horizontal or vertical configuration. At least one target mount may be provided for attaching targets. The support structure is readily assembled and unassembled and can be configured between an operating position for target practice, and a collapsed position for transport and storage.

Abstract: Various devices, systems, structures and methods are disclosed related to securely authorizing a transaction by synchronizing digital genomic data with associated synthetic genomic variants. An embodiment of the present invention utilizes digital genomic data associated with an entity, such as a person, who may utilize a genome-based security device to complete a transaction. In one embodiment, a person may use a genome-based security device to communicate with an external device over a wireless or other communication interface, synchronize digital genomic data and an associated synthetic variant received from the external device with digital genomic data and associated synthetic variant stored on the genome-based security device.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses are described herein for improving the accuracy of authentication questions using e-mail processing. A request for access to an account may be received from a user device. A plurality of organizations may be identified. One or more e-mail associated with the account may be identified. The e-mails may be processed to identify one or more organizations that correspond to transactions conducted by a user. A modified plurality of organizations may be generated by removing, from the plurality of organizations, the one or more organizations. An authentication question may be generated and provided to the user device. A response to the authentication question may be received, and the user device may be provided access based on the response.

Abstract: A method utilizing a permission-based access functionality to obtain communication identifying metadata in electronic communications associated with a first and/or a second user. The communication identifying metadata is processed to generate first physical address metadata associated with the second user. Second physical addresses metadata associated with the second user is identified in data objects stored in electronic resources. The first and the second physical addresses metadata are inputted into a machine learning model which identifies related physical addresses, based on a change in a feature of the first and/or second physical addresses metadata and to predict a most likely current physical address of the second user. Upon receipt of the access permission to the current physical address of the second user, a database stored on a computing device of the first user is updated with the current physical address of the second user.

Abstract: A method and system for obtaining and analyzing ECG waveforms from a patient is disclosed. Initially, a recommendation for obtaining an ECG waveform from a patient is issued, typically from a cardiologist. An ECG recording device is used to obtain ECG data from the patient. The recording device generates patient identification information, time and date information and an initial analysis that are included in a log delivered along with the ECG data to an analysis server. The analysis server generates a recommended action for the patient, which is delivered to the recording device while the patient is still present at the recording device. The recording device can then carry out the recommended action and provide the results for analysis by the cardiologist. The analysis server can utilize artificial intelligence/machine learning to generate the recommended action for the patient without having to involve the cardiologist, thereby reducing the number of visits for the treatment of the patient.

Abstract: The present solution is directed to control of maximum current for regenerative charging of an EV battery. A battery management system (BMS) can facilitate, responsive to a first action by an actuator, a discharge of an EV battery. The BMS can identify, responsive to a second action by the actuator, a discharge capacity of the battery corresponding to the discharge associated with the first action. The BMS can determine, responsive to the second action, a temperature measurement and a state of charge measurement of the battery and determine, based on the temperature measurement, the state of charge measurement and the discharge capacity, a derate factor that can be used to modify a current level supplied to the battery during charging of the battery from energy generated responsive to the second action. The BMS can cause the battery to be charged according to the modified current level and the generated energy.

Abstract: A system for generating 2D slices of a 3D image of a target volume is provided. The system receives a target sinogram collected during a computed tomography scan of the target volume. The system inputs the target sinogram to a convolutional neural network (CNN) to generate predicted 2D slices of the 3D image. The CNN is trained using training 2D slices of training 3D images. The system initializes 2D slices to the predicted 2D slices. The system reconstructs 2D slices of the 3D image from the target sinogram and the initialized 2D slices.
