Abstract: A relational event history is determined based on a data set, the relational event history including a set of relational events that occurred in time among a set of actors. Data is populated in a probability model based on the relational event history, where the probability model is formulated as a series of conditional probabilities that correspond to a set of sequential decisions by an actor for each relational event, where the probability model includes one or more statistical parameters and corresponding statistics. A baseline communications behavior for the relational event history is determined based on the populated probability model, and departures within the relational event history from the baseline communications behavior are determined.

Abstract: A cartridge for an e-vaping device enables separate vapors to be formed proximate to separate, respective ends of the cartridge. The cartridge includes multiple reservoirs and separate vaporizer assemblies coupled to separate reservoirs on opposite ends of the reservoirs. The separate reservoirs may hold separate pre-vapor formulations. The separate vaporizer assemblies may draw separate pre-vapor formulations from separate reservoirs towards opposite ends of the cartridge and vaporize the separate pre-vapor formulations via operation of separate heaters proximate to the separate ends. The separate heaters may be independently controlled to independently control vapor formation at the separate ends. The heaters may be controlled to independently control vapor formation rates proximate to the separate ends. The heaters may be controlled to form separate vapors at least one of simultaneously, concurrently, and at different times.

Abstract: An Internet of things (IoT) wireless communication module. The IoT wireless communication module comprises an antenna, a radio transceiver coupled to the antenna, an embedded universal integrated circuit card (eUICC) coupled to the radio transceiver, where the eUICC is provisioned with a plurality of eSIM profiles, a non-transitory memory, a processor coupled to the non-transitory memory, to the radio transceiver, and to the eUICC, and an eSIM profile adapter application stored in the non-transitory memory. When executed by the processor, the eSIM profile adapter application determines a system installation context of the IoT wireless communication module, selects one of the plurality of eSIM profiles stored in the eUICC based on the system installation context, and activates the selected eSIM profile in the eUICC.

One or more wireless stations are selected based on the location associated with the search query (604, 606). Wireless station identifiers are sent, along with the search results, to the client device (504, 610). The client device compares the received identifiers against the identifiers of one or more observed wireless stations with which the mobile device is in communication or are otherwise visible (508). Log information is generated by the client device as a result of the comparison (510). The log information is transmitted to the network without user ID or other client-identifiable information included in the log (512). The received log information is then used to accurately evaluate conversions and evaluate search quality, which enhances the user experience and provides for a more efficient search result process (612, 614).

Abstract: This application relates to apparatus and methods for batching orders for delivery. In some examples, a computing device may obtain order data identifying at least a first order and a second order. The computing device may determine whether the first order can be delivered to a first delivery address and the second order can be delivered to a second delivery address within a delivery time window. Based on the determination, the computing device may batch the first order and the second order to generate a batched order. In some examples, the computing device determines if the delivery vehicle can store the items for the first order and the second order to determine whether the orders may be batched. The computing device may generate assignment data identifying an assignment of the batched order to a delivery vehicle, and may transmit the assignment data to another computing device.

Abstract: An operations integration processor mapping information in a language-independent data format to a tag format for integration with a tag-based control and data acquisition system. The operations integration processor receives a response from a web service and parses the response to identify one or more attribute-value pairs contained in the response. The response contains information in a language-independent data format different than a tag format. The processor maps the parsed response to one or more tags, which have at least one of a name and a value based on the information provided in the response associated with them.

Disclosed example apparatus are to obtain a plurality of Internet Protocol addresses assigned to a media device associated with a panel member. Disclosed example apparatus are also to determine a most used Internet Protocol address from the plurality of Internet Protocol addresses, determine a geographic location corresponding to the most used Internet Protocol address, associate a geographic area with the media device in response to a determination that the geographic location corresponds to a location of an internet service provider, determine a demographic profile associated with the geographic area, and associate the demographic profile with the media device.

Abstract: Self-aligning plating systems and methods are disclosed. The self-aligning plating system may include an interbody spacer, a medical device plate, and an insertion member. The interbody spacer may be inserted between a top vertebra and a bottom vertebra of a patient's spinal column. A medical device plate may slide along an insertion member in operable connectivity with the interbody spacer so that the medical device plate comes into contact with and can be secured to the patient's anatomy.

Abstract: A method and system for controlling uplink air-interface communication over an air interface from a given user equipment device (UE) to the access node, where the uplink air-interface communication normally operates with a modulation order corresponding with a most recently determined channel quality of the given UE. An example method includes (i) detecting at least a threshold high rate of uplink voice muting on the air interface, and (ii) responsive to at least the detecting of the threshold high rate of uplink voice muting on the air interface, suppressing the modulation order used for the uplink air-interface communication from the given UE to the access node over the air interface.

Abstract: A toilet seat adapter device that is configured to be positioned on a rear section of a standard toilet seat in order to reduce the size of the seat opening. The adapter has a main body that is configured to be seated within the toilet seat opening. A first pair of movable arms extend form the right side of the main body and a second pair of movable arms extend form the left side of the main body. Each pair of movable arms terminate in clamp or similar gripping interface to capture a toilet seat and maintain the main body securely positioned on the toilet. The pairs of movable arms may be secured at any of various points to allow a user to apply the adapter to any of various sized toilet seats.
