  • Patent number: 11783849
Abstract: This specification describes computer-implemented methods and systems. One method includes receiving, by a neural network of a speech recognition system, first data representing a first raw audio signal and second data representing a second raw audio signal. The first raw audio signal and the second raw audio signal describe audio occurring at a same period of time. The method further includes generating, by a spatial filtering layer of the neural network, a spatial filtered output using the first data and the second data, and generating, by a spectral filtering layer of the neural network, a spectral filtered output using the spatial filtered output. Generating the spectral filtered output comprises processing frequency-domain data representing the spatial filtered output. The method still further includes processing, by one or more additional layers of the neural network, the spectral filtered output to predict sub-word units encoded in both the first raw audio signal and the second raw audio signal.

  • Patent number: 11783500
Abstract: A system for generating a depth output for an image is described. The system receives input images that depict the same scene, each input image including one or more potential objects. The system generates, for each input image, a respective background image and processes the background images to generate a camera motion output that characterizes the motion of the camera between the input images. For each potential object, the system generates a respective object motion output for the potential object based on the input images and the camera motion output. The system processes a particular input image of the input images using a depth prediction neural network (NN) to generate a depth output for the particular input image, and updates the current values of parameters of the depth prediction NN based on the particular depth output, the camera motion output, and the object motion outputs for the potential objects.

  • Patent number: 11781761
Abstract: An air moving device has a housing with a primary flow path and a secondary flow path that extends from a secondary inlet of the housing and empties into an inner outlet adjacent the primary flow path. An impeller assembly rotates a blade to cause air to enter the housing and flow along the primary flow path. The flow of air through the primary flow path creates a low pressure region at the inner outlet of the secondary flow path, causing air to flow through the secondary flow path and mix with the air in the primary flow path. The mixture of air flows through a downstream portion of the primary flow path having an expanded width compared to an upstream portion of the primary flow path and exits the housing. Stator vanes may extend longitudinally within the housing to cause columnar air flow. The device may be used for destratification of thermal gradients of air within an enclosure, such as a home or warehouse.
