Abstract: In a projection display system, a light-emitting diode (LED) can generate unpolarized light. A light guide can receive the unpolarized light from a perimeter of the light guide and guide the unpolarized light between a light emission surface and an opposing surface as guided light. The light guide can include a plurality of light-extraction features that can direct a portion of the guided light out of the light guide through the light emission surface as unpolarized emitted light. A polarizing film can reflect at least some of a first polarization state of the unpolarized emitted light into the light guide through the light emission surface and can transmit at least some of a second polarization state of the unpolarized emitted light through the polarizing film to form a polarized light beam. An angular reduction film can reduce a range of propagation angles of the polarized light beam.

Abstract: A fiber optic tray system includes a tray. The tray includes a tray body, the tray body extending along a longitudinal axis between a front and a rear and extending along a lateral axis between a first side and a second side. The tray further includes a plurality of alignment rails, each of the plurality of alignment rails protruding from the tray body along a transverse axis. The tray further includes a plurality of retainer features disposed at the rear of the tray body. The fiber optic tray system further includes a fiber optic module, the fiber optic module including an outer housing and at least one retainment feature. The at least one retainment feature is interfaced with at least one of the plurality of retainer features to retain the fiber optic module on the tray.

Abstract: A method of optimizing rider satisfaction includes classifying, using a first neural network of a hybrid neural network, social media data sourced from a plurality of social media sources as indicative of an effect on a transportation system. The method further includes predicting, using a second neural network of the hybrid neural network, at least one aspect of rider satisfaction affected by an effect on the transportation system derived from the social media data classified as indicative of an effect on the transportation system. The method still further includes optimizing, using a third neural network of the hybrid neural network, the at least one aspect of rider satisfaction for at least one rider occupying a vehicle in the transportation system.

Abstract: To serve User Equipment (UEs) in a wireless communication network, a control-plane transfers a co-located User Plane Function (UPF) request for a wireless access point ID to a naming system. The naming system detects a co-location translation fault for the wireless access point ID and transfers the wireless access point ID to a controller. The controller determines co-located UPFs for the wireless access node. The controller transfers co-location translation information for the wireless access point ID and co-located UPF IDs to the naming system. The control-plane transfers another co-located UPF request for the wireless access point ID to the naming system. The naming system translates the wireless access point ID into the set of co-located UPF IDs. The naming system transfers the co-located UPF IDs to the control-plane. The control-plane signals the co-located UPFs to serve the UE over the wireless access point.

The optical system also includes a driver configured to generate a driving signal for controlling a mirror, such as a microelectromechanical systems (“MEMS”) mirror. The optical system also includes a controller configured to generate a driving signal while rejecting a system disturbance response.

The system also including a presence sensor, the presence sensor communicatively connected to the charging port, the presence sensor configured to detect whether the charging connector is engaged with the charging port. Abstract: Methods and systems are described herein for synchronizing communication records in computer networks. For example, the methods and systems may determine whether or not a first communication relates to a second and generate a recommendation that the communications relate to a single communication. In particular, the methods and systems described herein describe synchronizing communication records in computer networks based on detecting patterns in categories of metadata. For example, the methods and systems retrieve specific types of metadata and compare this metadata between communications in order to synchronize and/or deduplicate them.

Abstract: In various embodiments, a Consent Refresh, Re-Prompt, and Recapture System is configured to interface with a Consent Receipt Management System in order to, for example: (1) monitor previously provided consent by one or more data subjects that may be subject to future expiration; (2) monitor a data subject's activity to anticipate the data subject attempting an activity that may require a level of consent (e.g., for the processing of particular data subject data) that is higher than the system has received; and/or (3) identify other changes in circumstances or triggering events for a data subject that may warrant a refresh or recapture (e.g., or attempted capture) of a particular required consent (e.g., required to enable an entity to properly or legally execute a transaction with a data subject). The system may then be configured to automatically refresh, re-prompt for, and/or recapture consent as necessary.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to trays for segregating liquid in a reservoir space distinct from a storage space. The trays include a body having a floor and a platform spaced away from the floor and bearing at least one orifice or gap extending therethrough for facilitating fluid flow from the storage space into the reservoir space under the influence of gravity. The gaps and/or orifices are relatively centrally located, which tends to inhibit retrograde flow of fluid from the reservoir space into the storage space. The platform can include one or more deflectable doors defined by elongated gaps. Deflection of a door, such as by a protrusion extending from the body, opens the door-defining gap into a larger opening to facilitate fluid flow. The platform can also have one or more adaptors and/or sockets for securing its position relative to the floor.

Abstract: An imaging system includes multiple LED modules, a single image sensor, a controller, a processing unit and a depth map generator. Each LED module has a distinct angular emission profile and emits light having a distinct wavelength range. The image sensor detects light originating from at least two of the LED modules after reflection by an object in a field of view of the image sensor to provide an image sensor output. The controller controls the LED modules to turn on and off such that only one LED module emits light at a time. The processing unit processes the image sensor output to identify an intensity profile for the reflected light from each of the LED modules. The depth map generator determines an angular position of the object based at least on the intensity profile for the reflected light from each of the LED modules.

Abstract: A device can include an internal secure processing environment (SE) and communicate with a configuration system. The device may utilize a near field communications (NFC) radio. A mobile handset can connect with the SE in the device using NFC. The mobile handset can communicate with the configuration system and receive configuration data and a software package for the device. The SE can derive a PM key pair and send the derived public key to the configuration system via the mobile handset. The SE and the configuration system can mutually derive an encryption key using the derived PM key pair. The configuration data can be transmitted over the NFC radio, and the mobile handset can establish a Wi-Fi access point. The software package can be encrypted using the encryption key and transmitted to the device over the established Wi-Fi access point, thereby completing a configuration step for the device.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve systems, methods, computer program products, and the like, for controlling a congestion window (CWND) value of a communication session of a CDN. In particular, a content server may analyze a request to determine or receive an indication of the type of content being requested. The content server may then set the initial CWND based on the type of content being requested. For example, the content server may set a relatively high CWND value for requested content that is not particularly large, such as image files or text, so that the data of the content is received at the client device quickly. For larger files or files that a have a determined smaller urgency, the initial CWND may be set at a lower value to ensure that providing the data of the content does not congest the link between the devices.

Abstract: A wireless device receives one or more configuration parameters indicating: a discontinuous reception (DRX) operation and to transmit a report at a first symbol. The wireless device transmits the report at the first symbol based on a second symbol being in an active time of the DRX operation, where the second symbol occurs a number of symbols prior to the first symbol, and the number of symbols is determined based on an open-loop timing advance (TA) value.

Abstract: A device for depassivation of an energy storage device having an anode, a cathode and a core with an electrolyte, the device including: a first switch configured to provide a positive input voltage to the anode; a second switch configured to provide a negative input voltage to the anode; and a controller configured to: detect that a first predetermined event related to a buildup of passivation has occurred with regard to the energy storage device; switch between a positive input voltage and a negative input voltage provided to the anode at a frequency sufficient to depassivate the anode; discontinue the switching when a second predetermined event related to passivation has occurred.
