Publication number: 20230203307Abstract: Described herein are polymer compositions (PC) including a polyamide (PA) and a reactive impact modifier. As explained in detail below, the polyamide (PA) is a semi-aromatic polyamide derived from the polycondensation of an aliphatic diamine, a bis(aminoalkyl)cyclohexane, terephthalic acid, and, optionally, a cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid. It was surprisingly discovered that semi-aromatic polyamides derived from the cycloaliphatic diamine bis(aminoalkyl)cyclohexane or the specific combination of the cycloaliphatic diamine bis(aminoalkyl)cyclohexane and the cycloaliphatic dicarboxylic acid cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid provided for polymer compositions (PC) having improved retention of mechanical properties (e.g. tensile strength and flexural strength) after aging in aqueous solutions, relative to analogous polyamides free of the bis(aminoalkyl)cyclohexane and the cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 6, 2021Publication date: June 29, 2023Applicant: SOLVAY SPECIALTY POLYMERS USA, LLCInventors: Matthew R. Publication number: 20230205509Abstract: The present concepts may automate and optimize deployment to a cloud computing fleet. Artificial intelligence and/or optimization algorithms may be used to find optimal deployment parameters (e.g., deployment order of computers in the fleet) that minimize deployment time and minimize deployment risk. For example, machine-learning prediction models may be used to generate a shortest path graph problem models a deployment planning problem. Then, optimization algorithms may be used to efficiently find approximations of Pareto-optimal solutions to the shortest path graph problem. Depending on the preferred level of time and risk, one of the solutions may be used to run the deployment.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 29, 2021Publication date: June 29, 2023Applicant: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Pallavi BARAL, Prateek PUNJ, Yilan ZHANG, Bhuvan MALLADIHALLI SHASHIDHARA, Hanyi XU, Abhishek KUMAR, Mayank MEGHWANSHI, Sisi XIONG, Michael STEPHENSON, Avnish CHHABRA, Juan-Arturo HERRERA ORTIZ, Huaming HUANG

Publication number: 20230204208Abstract: This disclosure presents a clean burning flare stack, or gas flare. The gas flare is air assisted to ensure clean burning. The disclosed gas flare provides smokeless clean burning of released gases. For example, the gas flare burns the released gases in a lean burning condition such that sufficient air is supplied to the surges of gases. In addition, the gas flare, by using a low pressure blower mixing chamber, is capable of handling low pressure gases and high pressure gases. As such, different flow rates may be provided to the gas flare when different amounts of low pressure and high pressure flammable gases are mixed with sufficient blower air to provide a clean burning condition. The disclosed smokeless gas flare is thus environmentally friendly and aesthetically appealing.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 20, 2023Publication date: June 29, 2023Applicant: Vaprox LLCInventors: Will Dexter Ball, IV, Tom Hinkle

Publication number: 20230205980Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to multidirectional generative editing. In examples, content of a source document is used to produce generated content for a target document. A subpart of the source document may be associated with a subpart of the target document that includes the generated content. As a result of the association, if the subpart of the target document is modified (e.g., to add, remove, or edit natural language content or formatting), the subpart of the target document is used to produce generated content with which to update the source document accordingly. Thus, changes to generated content may be propagated back to a source document from which the generated content was produced.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 28, 2021Publication date: June 29, 2023Applicant: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Christopher John BROCKETT, Michel GALLEY, William B.
