  • Patent number: 11688253
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable media can be operable to facilitate recognizing and providing notification of events, states, and/or conditions associated with the CPE (customer premise equipment) device and/or associated networks or devices. An application running on a mobile device (e.g., smart phone) can be used to observe and diagnose electronic equipment (e.g., CPE device). Equipment can have indicators (audio, visual, etc.) that a human would have difficulty interpreting correctly. A mobile device application can be programmed to observe audio and/or visual indicators, report status and possibly recommend course(s) of corrective action to the user. Since the information observed by the mobile device is unidirectional (from the equipment to the mobile device) there is no increased security risk.

  • Patent number: 11689619
Abstract: Embodiments for a method of storing e-mail messages using a cloud native e-mail data protection process. E-mail messages are first compressed and stored in a container along with selected metadata. An Email Record is created for each e-mail message. A Container Record is created for each newly created container, and a Backup Record is created for each container for each backup. Once the required records are created, the process facilitates the execution of backup operations, such as full or incremental backups of the stored e-mail messages. Data tiering is supported so that low cost object storage in the public cloud is used instead of expensive processing methods, such as deduplication backups.

  • Patent number: 11687793
Abstract: A method includes receiving data collected from a plurality of managed devices in a plurality of data collections. The data collections are performed using a plurality of collection protocols. A trigger that generated each of given ones of the data collections is determined. The method further includes identifying a collection protocol of the plurality of collection protocols used for each of the given ones of the data collections, and determining one or more attributes of a plurality of attributes of the plurality of managed devices that have been collected using given ones of the collection protocols. • Patent number: 11689888
Abstract: Methods, systems, and non-transitory computer readable media are correction of geographic inconsistency in item properties. A system identifies locations of interest based on a location of a mobile device and acquires item-descriptive and item-property data associated with an item at the location of interest. The system connects to a secure network to identify a corresponding item and retrieve corresponding item-property data associated with the corresponding item from a secure item database server. The system determines a difference between the corresponding item-property data and the item-property data and updates the secure item database server based on the difference.

  • Patent number: 11685261
Abstract: Presented are high-voltage electrical systems, control logic, and electric-drive vehicles with optimized motor torque output. A method of operating an electric-drive vehicle includes a controller identifying the vehicle's operating mode and determining calibration settings corresponding to this operating mode. These calibration settings include low and high coolant temperature (CoolTemp) thresholds, and motor-calibrated torque limits as a function of CoolTemp. The controller determines if the present CoolTemp of the power inverter's coolant is greater than the low CoolTemp threshold and less than the high CoolTemp threshold. If so, the controller sets a motor torque limit of the vehicle's electric motor to a torque limit value selected from a fixed torque limit region within the torque limits data between the low and high CoolTemp thresholds.

  • Patent number: 11685983
Abstract: A castable, moldable, or extrudable magnesium-based alloy that includes one or more insoluble additives. The insoluble additives can be used to enhance the mechanical properties of the structure, such as ductility and/or tensile strength. The final structure can be enhanced by heat treatment, as well as deformation processing such as extrusion, forging, or rolling, to further improve the strength of the final structure as compared to the non-enhanced structure. The magnesium-based composite has improved thermal and mechanical properties by the modification of grain boundary properties through the addition of insoluble nanoparticles to the magnesium alloys. The magnesium-based composite can have a thermal conductivity that is greater than 180 W/m-K, and/or ductility exceeding 15-20% elongation to failure.
