Abstract: Among other things, techniques are described for steering angle calibration. An autonomous vehicle receives a steering angle measurement and a yaw rate measurement, and estimates a steering angle offset using the steering angle measurement, the yaw rate measurement, and a wheel base of the autonomous vehicle. An estimated yaw rate is determined based on a yaw rate model, the steering angle measurement and the estimated steering angle offset. The yaw rate measurement and the estimated yaw rate are compared and an action is initiated on the autonomous vehicle in response to the comparing.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention include fuel cells incorporating sheets and/or powders of silica fibers and methods for producing such devices. The silica fibers may be formed via electrospinning of a sol gel produced with a silicon alkoxide reagent, such as tetraethyl ortho silicate, alcohol solvent, and an acid catalyst.

Abstract: At least one aspect is directed to managing policies to control network assets in real-time by dynamically enforcing policies based on a variety of detected conditions including service quality, subscriber usage, network performance, bandwidth, and events. The systems and methods described herein can enforce policy actions using the PacketCable Multimedia (PCMM) protocol, which is supported by Cable Modem Termination Systems (CMTS). The present solution can monitor IPDR usage data and SNMP network utilization data to determine conditions about the network and provide PCMM instructions to a CMTS to control network resources on an individual subscriber level. By providing PCMM instructions to a CMTS, the present solution can make service changes to individual modems without modifying the modem's configuration file, requiring a modem reboot, or the installation of additional hardware in the operator's network.

The backend system may execute a call on a website of the decisioning service. The backend system may receive the product information from the button. The backend system may generate the website within the third-party domain, including a request for information about the user, in response to executing the call to the website. The backend system may transmit a request for generating prequalification result for the product to the decisioning service. The backend system may receive the prequalification result from the decisioning service.

Abstract: A user places an order on a merchant website associated with a merchant system via a user computing device. The user selects an option for delivery to the user computing device location within a delivery area during a delivery time window and authorizes a delivery system to log the location of the user computing device during and/or a period of time before the delivery time window. When the delivery time window arrives, the delivery system provides a delivery route to a delivery agent computing device. When the delivery agent arrives at the user computing device's location, the user receives an alert that the delivery agent has arrived and receives a package from the delivery agent. If the user does not remain within the delivery area, the user may cancel the order and the delivery, may reschedule the delivery, and/or may accept delivery of the order to a fixed shipping address.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for data protection in a cluster of data processing accelerators (DPAs). The cluster of accelerators may include DPAs of a third party accelerator that may not be trusted. To ensure data protection in the cluster, a first DPA that receives a request from a second DPA to access a resource of the first DPA authenticates the second DPA. If the second DPA passes authentication, the second DPA is permitted to access non-sensitive resources of the first DPA, otherwise the second DPA is not permitted access to any resources of the first DPA and the first DPA breaks a communication link with the second DPA. Authentication is premised on a shared secret function between DPAs and a random number generated by the first DPA. The shared secret function is updateable by, e.g., a patch from a manufacturer of the DPA.

Abstract: The present lift lock is employed on a gate that is swingable and liftable on a first axis. In a first position the lift lock is on the first axis and in a blocking position that prevents the gate from being lifted relative to a barrier having the gate. The lift lock is slideable away from the first position on the axis to a second position away from the axis where the lift lock is in an unblocking position, thereby permitting the gate to be lifted on the axis. The lift lock snaps into and out of the second position.

In an aspect, a method includes receiving an image being presented on a display of a computing device and a transcription of an utterance spoken by a user of the computing device, identifying a particular sub-image that is included in the image, and based on performing image recognition on the particular sub-image, determining one or more first labels that indicate a context of the particular sub-image. Abstract: The present invention provides improved driving methods for four particle electrophoretic displays that improves the performance of such displays when they are deployed in low temperature environments and the displays are required to be updated when positioned vertically (i.e., the driving electric fields are substantially perpendicular to the direction of Earth's gravity). Methods are provided for displaying each of the colors at each pixel, as desired, with minimal interference (contamination) from the other particles.

Abstract: The present disclosure generally provides oral inserts useful for determining forces experienced by a user, such as a human user, to the head, for example, by measuring one or more of acceleration, velocity, displacement, or rotation. In some aspects, the disclosure provides oral inserts that, when worn properly by a human user, calculate the forces experienced by the user's head with high accuracy. In some aspects, the disclosure provides systems for detecting and calculating forces experienced by the user's head and to determine whether such forces are above a certain threshold indicative of increased concussion risk.
