Abstract: In a method of session initiation protocol (SIP) session management, a SIP session information request is sent to a network resource management (NRM) server by a vertical application layer (VAL) server to obtain a list of SIP sessions established between (i) a VAL client associated with the VAL server and (ii) the NRM server. A response message comprising SIP session information is received by the VAL server from the NRM server in response to the SIP session information request. The SIP session information includes the list of SIP sessions established between the VAL client and the NRM server. A plurality of SIP sessions is managed across a plurality of NRM servers based on the response message, where the plurality of NRM servers comprises the NRM server and the plurality of SIP sessions comprises the list of SIP sessions established between the VAL client and the NRM server.
Abstract: A speaker system including an enclosure, a first acoustic driver engaged with the enclosure, and two or more horns configured to output a sound from the first acoustic driver to a front plane of the enclosure. In one embodiment, the two or more horns may be folded and planar. In one embodiment, the speaker system may include a second acoustic driver, which may be installed above or below the first acoustic driver. The second acoustic driver may be larger or smaller or the same size when compared to the first acoustic driver.
Abstract: A programmable delay device that provides delays of more than 100 ns over a broad bandwidth is disclosed. The device includes an input stage that employs M sampling switched capacitor elements such that each sampling switched capacitor element samples at a rate of only 1/M of the fundamental sampling rate. The device includes a programmable delay stage with M programmable switched capacitor banks, each programmable switched capacitor bank having N delay switched capacitor storage elements. Thus, the programmable delay stage includes a total of M×N delay switched capacitor storage elements, thereby reducing the sampling rate by a factor of M×N. This reduced sampling rate permits much smaller sampling switches, resulting in reduced leakage current and enabling far longer programmable delay times. Lastly, the device includes an output reconstruction stage that reconstructs a delayed version of the input RF signal by combining signals from the programmable delay stage.

Abstract: Systems and methods of executing a real-time electronic transaction by a real-time transaction system are disclosed. One the method includes receiving, by a reconciliation system, a transaction update associated with a transaction request from a transaction network. The reconciliation system may authenticate the transaction update by communicating with an authentication system. The reconciliation system may translate the transaction update into at least another format. The reconciliation system may transmit the transaction update to a notification handler. The reconciliation system may receive transaction data associated with the transaction update from a transaction query system. The reconciliation system may transmit the transaction update to a transaction requestor associated with the transaction data.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems that capture a combination of image data and environmental data of the environment. The system uses the environmental data to create a detailed virtual scan of the environment. Computer generated models and images (“assets”) are inserted into the detailed virtual environment from the scan. These assets are scaled and placed within the virtual environment at specific locations and having a specific orientation. The scaled and positioned asset is then composited with the real-time video signal allowing a user to view the asset in real-time on a display.
Abstract: In some embodiments, a photonic switch includes a first layer, a cantilever coupler, and a set of electrodes. The first layer includes a first waveguide that directs light in a first direction and a second waveguide that directs light in a second direction that is different from the first direction. The cantilever coupler is formed from a lithium niobate material and disposed over the first layer. The cantilever coupler includes a first end that is positioned over the first waveguide and a second end that is bonded to the second waveguide. The set of electrodes apply an electric potential across the first end, which deforms the first waveguide to couple to the second waveguide and propagates light between the first waveguide and the second waveguide.

Abstract: A control device may be configured to delay an attachment procedure while attachment messages are being transmitted over the network. The control device may be configured to initiate an attachment procedure with a router device on a network at the end a back-off period of time. The attachment procedure may include transmitting attachment messages (e.g., parent request messages) that enable the control device to transmit and receive messages over the network through the router device. During the back-off period of time, the control device may determine an attachment message is received from another control device on the network. And, if an attachment message (e.g., a parent request messages and/or a link request message) is received from another control device, the control device may increase the back-off period of time (e.g., delaying when the control device initiates its attachment procedure).

Abstract: In a wireless communication network, distributed ledger circuitry executes a contract from an origin block and transfers an instantiation request for a wireless network slice to network orchestration circuitry. The network orchestration circuitry instantiates the wireless network slice responsive to the instantiation request from the distributed ledger circuitry. The wireless network slice delivers a wireless network service to the UEs and transfers slice usage data to the distributed ledger circuitry. The distributed ledger circuitry executes the contract from middle blocks and a termination block to form a blockchain that stores the slice usage data for the wireless network slice. The distributed ledger circuitry transfers a termination request for the wireless network slice to the network orchestration circuitry responsive to the execution of the contract from the termination block.
