Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for detecting a continued conversation are disclosed. In one aspect, a method includes the actions of receiving first audio data of a first utterance. The actions further include obtaining a first transcription of the first utterance. The actions further include receiving second audio data of a second utterance. The actions further include obtaining a second transcription of the second utterance. The actions further include determining whether the second utterance includes a query directed to a query processing system based on analysis of the second transcription and the first transcription or a response to the first query. The actions further include configuring the data routing component to provide the second transcription of the second utterance to the query processing system as a second query or bypass routing the second transcription.

Abstract: In some examples, a method is disclosed. The method includes detecting, by a smart device, an audible utterance of a trigger word. The method also includes, responsive to the detection of the audible utterance of the trigger word, recording audio via the smart device. The method also includes processing, via the smart device, the recorded audio to determine whether the recorded audio contains a command for the smart device or a different smart device to perform an action. The method also includes, responsive to determining that the recorded audio includes a command for the smart device or a different smart device to perform the action, determining whether the command is serviceable by the smart device without involvement of the different smart device. The method also includes, responsive to determining whether the command is serviceable by the smart device without involvement of the different smart device, taking action regarding the command.

Abstract: A socket for engaging a residual limb includes a plurality of hard counters, each configured to engage the residual limb at defined “go points”. The go points can bear pressure without discomfort or impeding range of motion. The counters are further configured to avoid contact with identified “no go” points where excess tissue may inhibit motion or experience irritation upon movement and which include one or more contoured pads to more effectively engage the bony prominences of the limb without inhibiting motion. A chassis from which each of the counters may flexibly depend connects the residual limb mechanically to a limb extension. A lacing system alternately intersects the counters and terminates in a tensioning reel. Rotation of the tensioning reel in a first direction will draw the laces over each of the counters such that the tensioned laces will draw counters together to engage the residual limb.

Abstract: An abradable powder composition is includes a metal component, a lubricant component, and a polymer component. A portion of the metal component is wrapped in the lubricant component to achieve high lubricity and abradability. The abradable powder composition can be used to form an abradable seal coating provided for use in a turbo machinery having a housing and a wheel having multiple blades. The housing houses the wheel which rotates therein. The seal coating is formed on the inner walls of housing adjacent where the wheel blades pass during their rotation. When the wheel is rotated such that the blades contact the seal coating, it is abraded to form a close fit gap. The abradable seal coating preferably does not produce significant wear of the blade tips or transfer abradable material significantly to the blade tips upon being abraded.

Abstract: A magnetic levitation device for levitating a marker or suspending the marker away from the device having a housing having an outer portion and a lower portion. The device has an electromagnetic configuration positioned on disc and the disc can move or rotate the marker at a constant or variable speed. The rotating disc is configured with the electromagnetic configuration and a gear assembly.

Abstract: Techniques are described herein that are capable of implementing a client-side policy on client-side logic. The client-side policy is configured to support client-side hooks by configuring a rule in the client-side policy to be applied to the client-side logic, which is configured to be executed in a browser of a client device in a network-based system. The rule indicates an administrator-defined action to be performed in response to a request to execute the client-side logic. The request to execute the client-side logic in the browser is received. The administrator-defined action is performed based at least in part on the rule in the client-side policy in response to receipt of the request.

Abstract: Systems and methods of transferring data from memory to manage graphical output latency are provided. A device having a display receives an acoustic signal that carries a query. The device determines that a wireless controller is in a first state. The device establishes, based on receipt of the acoustic signal and the determination that the wireless controller device is in the first state, a first interaction mode for a graphical user interface rendered by the computing device for display via the display device. The device sets a prefetch parameter to a first value and prefetches the corresponding amount of electronic content items. The device establishes a second interaction mode and overrides the first value of the prefetch parameter to a second value, and prefetches a second amount of electronic content items corresponding to the second value.

Abstract: Implementations relate to generating and/or executing a customized interactive dialog application. The customized interactive dialog application may be generated from a state mapping tool that allows a user to generate custom states and custom transitions between the custom states. A customized configuration description is then generated based on the generated custom states and custom transitions. Further, a default configuration description is identified that includes additional or alternative states and transitions. In executing the customized interactive dialog application, dialog turns are generated based on the states and transition information, with the customized configuration description taking precedence and the default configuration description being utilized for any undefined states and/or transitions. Implementations additionally or alternatively relate to generating and/or executing a custom agent based on generated custom states and custom transitions, and a default configuration description.

Also disclosed are methods for making and using such compounds including methods for inhibiting integrins including but not necessarily limited to ?5?1-Integrin, ?v?3-Integrin and ?v?5-Integrin, inhibiting cellular adhesion to RGD binding sites, preventing or treating viral or other microbial infections, inhibiting angiogenesis in tumors, retinal tissue or other tissues or delivering other diagnostic or therapeutic agents to RGD binding sites in human or animal subjects.

Abstract: Systems, devices, and techniques described herein relate to iron-based desalination of water. In some cases, an inflow of water including chlorine and sodium can be received. A plurality of iron nanoparticles may capture the chlorine and the sodium. The iron nanoparticles may at least partially include Zero Valent Iron (ZVI). An outflow of the water may be emitted. The chlorine and the sodium may be omitted from the outflow.

Abstract: Systems and methods for matching live media content are disclosed. At a server, obtaining first media content from a client device, herein the first media content corresponds to a portion of media content being played on the client device, and the first media content is associated with a predefined expiration time; obtaining second media content from one or more content feeds, wherein the second media content also corresponds to a portion of the media content being played on the client device; in accordance with a determination that the second media content corresponds to a portion of the media content that has been played on the client device: before the predefined expiration time, obtaining third media content corresponding to the media content being played on the client device, from the one or more content feeds; and comparing the first media content with the third media content.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for processing electronic content, such as text, videos, and images. According to certain embodiments, user interactions with electronic content may be tracked over a plurality of modalities, such as web pages, email, mobile applications, and social media. The tracked user interactions may include copy/paste events, explicit user highlighting, social sharing, and user voting. Key passages of electronic content may be identified based on the tracked user interactions and ranked against one another. Ranking of passages may be based, for example, on a raw or normalized score for the identified key passages. Alternatively, the ranking of a passage may be based on a ratio of user interactions with the passage to total views of the electronic text containing the passage. One or more of the identified key passages (e.g., the highest ranked passages) may be published to one or more applications.

Abstract: Methods of powering a radio that is mounted on a tower of a cellular base station are provided in which a direct current (“DC”) power signal is provided to the radio over a power cable and a voltage level of the output of the power supply is adjusted so as to provide a substantially constant voltage at a first end of the power cable that is remote from the power supply. Related cellular base stations and programmable power supplies are also provided.

Abstract: A deployable structure for use in establishing a reflectarray antenna is provided that includes a flexible reflectarray and a deployment structure that includes an endless pantograph for deploying the flexible reflectarray from a folded, undeployed state towards a deployed state in which the flexible reflectarray is substantially planar. In a particular embodiment, the deployment structure includes a plurality of tapes that engage the endless pantograph and are used to establish a positional relationship between the deployed reflectarray and another component of the reflectarray antenna.

Abstract: A biological sample system that efficiently images and registers codes corresponding to biological samples depicted in an image. The biological sample system can implement a neural network to detect the codes individually, and further translate each code into an item identifier. The item identifiers are correlated with network server accounts and a user interface can depict the biological samples with data indicating their registration state.

Abstract: A flexible bioprocess bag comprising a number of flexible panels which are sealed to each other such that when the bag is filled they form at least a bottom of the bag and a side surface of the bag, wherein one of the flexible panels is called a bottom panel and when the bag is filled said bottom panel will constitute the bottom of the bag and parts of the side surface of the bag, said parts of the side surface being bent side parts of the bottom panel.

Abstract: A running device and method of using the device are disclosed. The device may include a moveable material within an inner chamber of the running device's housing. In operation, a running device may be held in each hand and the runner may thrust both hands downward prior to landing and quickly bring the devices to a vertical stop after landing. Bringing the devices to a vertical stop may cause the moveable material to collide with the housing and increase the force exerted by the runner on the ground. A delay component may delay the peak force exerted by the material against the housing so that the translation of that force to the ground coincides with the peak force that the runner would have exerted against the ground in the absence of the devices.

Abstract: A temperature controlled dispensing tool includes a mount and a temperature controlled module coupled to the mount. The temperature controlled module may include a barrel housing, a barrel insert, one or more heating element, one or more cooling element, one or more temperature sensors, and a control unit. The barrel insert is removably insertable into the barrel housing and configured to receive a material barrel. The one or more heating elements and the one or more cooling elements are in thermal communication with the barrel insert. The control unit is configured to determine a temperature of the temperature controlled module based on the signal of the one or more temperature sensors, and selectively operate the one or more heating elements and the one or more cooling elements thereby controlling a temperature of the temperature controlled module.

Abstract: An exemplary trim assembly comprises an escutcheon, a drive spindle, a lock mechanism, a cam mechanism, and a driver. The drive spindle is mounted to the escutcheon for rotation about a longitudinal axis. The lock mechanism includes a lock gear movably mounted in the escutcheon. The cam mechanism includes a first cam defined by the escutcheon and a second cam defined by the lock gear. The driver is operable to rotate the lock gear between a first rotational position and a second rotational position. The cam mechanism is configured to longitudinally drive the lock gear from a first longitudinal position to a second longitudinal position as the lock gear rotates from the first rotational position to the second rotational position. Movement of the lock gear between the first longitudinal position and the second longitudinal position transitions the lock mechanism between a locked state and an unlocked state.

Abstract: A method for controlling a power system that powers a load is provided. The power system includes a prime mover, an electrical machine coupled to the prime mover, a battery source, an inverter coupled to the battery source, and a power system controller configured to control operation of the power system. The method includes monitoring a power demand on the power system from the load. The method also includes comparing the monitored power demand with a load threshold value. Also, the method includes determining that the monitored power demand is less than the load threshold value. Further, the method includes upon determining that the monitored power demand is less than the load threshold value: inactivating the prime mover, and instructing the battery source with the inverter to supply power to the load.
