Abstract: A reconfigurable water distribution system for a walk-in tub bathing installation including two or more types of discharge ports for discharging water. The system includes a single motorized pump having an input connected to a suction port of the bathing installation, and an output port delivering pressurized water. A pipe system selectively connects the pump to the two or more types of discharge ports to selectively direct the pressurized water to the different ones of the types of discharge ports. The system selectively enables the bathing installation to perform a plurality of different functions using a single pump.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable media can be operable to facilitate the output of communications to additional emergency contacts upon the occurrence of an alarm triggering event. A central device may be configured with one or more data profiles associated with one or more emergency contacts, and each data profile may include emergency contact information associated with one or more methods for communicating a message to each respective emergency contact. When the device identifies an alert trigger within one or more communications passing through the device, the device may output one or more emergency messages to one or more of the emergency contacts according to the one or more stored data profiles.
Abstract: A device for securing an external transmitter of a cochlear implant to the head of the wearer. A pouch containing the external transmitter is secured using a plurality of straps coupled to a decorative shell worn on a person's head. The pouch and the decorative shell are designed to allow sound to pass unhindered from the environment to the inner ear. The plurality of straps are adjustable to allow precise placement of the external transmitter over the internal receiver. The external transmitter is also secured using a pouch coupled to a decorative shell. The external transmitter is further secured using a sealer coupled to the transmitter and further coupled to the head using an adhesive barrier. The sealer is made of a semi-transparent material. The device ensures that an external transmitter remains in place.

Abstract: An autonomous tilting three-wheeled vehicle comprises a pair of front wheels coupled to a tiltable chassis by a mechanical linkage, such that the pair of wheels and the chassis are configured to tilt in unison with respect to a roll axis of the chassis. An electronic controller of the autonomous vehicle controls a tilt actuator to selectively tilt the chassis. Optionally, a steering actuator is coupled to the front wheels and controlled by the electronic controller to selectively steer the wheels. A sensor configured to measure orientation-dependent information may be coupled to the chassis by a gimbal configured to compensate for vehicle tilt. In some examples, the autonomous vehicle comprises an autonomous delivery robot.

Abstract: In some implementations, a device may receive an indication of a code associated with granting authenticated access to a door. The device may transmit, to a user device, presentation information to cause an augmented reality image of an input pad to be displayed by the user device, wherein the augmented reality image is displayed over an area of an image of an exterior of the door via a user interface. The device may detect, via a camera device, one or more user inputs to the area of the exterior of the vehicle based on tracking a movement of a user. The device may identify an input code based on the one or more user inputs. The device may perform an action to cause the door to be unlocked based on the input code matching the code.
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for intelligently managing sessions in a mobile network. A selection engine receives a trigger to select a peer node for a subscriber session. The selection engine chooses a peer selector among one or more available peer selectors in response to the trigger and determines whether the chosen peer selector is associated with a fully qualified domain name (FQDN). In response to determining that the chosen peer selector is associated with the FQDN, the selection engine determines whether a domain name system (DNS) server is configured. In response to determining that the DNS server is configured, the selection engine requests a peer list associated with the FQDN from the DNS server and selects the peer node from the peer list.
Abstract: A vehicle cargo management system includes, among other things, an outer member of a cargo retention frame and an inner member of the cargo retention frame. The inner member is at least partially received within the outer member. A locking device is transitionable back and forth between a locked position and an unlocked position. The outer and inner members are slideable relative to each other when the locking device is in the locked position. The outer and inner members are fixed relative to each other when the locking device is in the unlocked position.

Abstract: A skate blade sharpening tool that has a cylindrical sharpening stone that is positioned directly over the blade and adjusting the slot width in the sharpener using thumb screws to match the blade width. When tightening the thumb screws, the two halves of the tool handle will decrease the slot width onto the blade. This pressure on the blade will force the through shaft and cylindrical stone to be centered over the blade. The sharpening stone will remove metal to match the shape of the stone each time the sharpener is moved back and forth along the blade. The sharpening stone has gears on each end of the stone that match the gears inside the two-piece body. As the tool is moved along the skate blade, the sharpening stone will incrementally rotate within the body when the direction is changed in the reciprocating motion by the user's back and forth movement. The sharpener also has a deburring stone mounted to the black of the handheld sharpener.

Abstract: A feed validation measuring system for monitoring and controlling the quality of aquaculture feed, and a method for validating feed by utilizing such a system. The system includes the utilization of a high contrast surface, which receives a predetermined number of feed pellets and a measurement reference object, a lighting assembly to light the high contrast surface, a camera assembly to capture images of objects on the high contrast surface, and a software component which analyzes images and calculates the size of each of the predetermined number of feed pellets by referencing the size of the measurement reference object.

Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of strawberry plant (Fragaria x ananassa) named ‘CBC005’ is presented here. This new short-day strawberry cultivar is characterized by moderate vigor plants which produce exceptionally large early yields of attractive conical to blocky fruit. In addition, plants of ‘CBC005’ are resistant to Macrophomina phaseolina.
