  • Patent number: 11663285
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer programs are presented for presenting web components in a native application. One method includes operations for monitoring a first user interface (UI) presented on a native app, and based on the monitoring, determining a second UI that may be selected by a user when accessing the first UI. The second UI is based on web components downloaded from a web server. The method further includes operations for authenticating the user for accessing the web server, selecting web components associated with the UI for preloading, and preloading the selected web components. Further yet, the method includes operations for detecting that the user has selected the second UI, and causing presentation of the second UI, which includes presenting the preloaded components on the second UI and downloading and presenting in the second UI the components not preloaded.

  • Patent number: 11662013
Abstract: A vehicle stalactite passive lubrication system includes a drive unit having an electric motor and a gear. A sump has a sump extension. A lubricant is collected in the sump for gravity flow into the sump extension. A stalactite member is fixed to the drive unit and is positioned above an element to be filled with a fluid, lubricated or cooled. The stalactite member is directed downwardly toward the sump with the lubricant splashed by gear rotation collected on neighboring walls and the stalactite member and directed downwardly by gravity into the sump or target element. The stalactite member includes: a drip edge oriented at an angle to a horizontal plane; and a tip defining an end of the drip edge. The angle is selected to direct the lubricant to discharge off the stalactite member at the tip as a lubricant stream into the sump or target element.

  • Patent number: 11665717
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for supporting band steering and/or channel steering in wireless communications systems, e.g. WiFi communications systems, are described. An access point aggregates information, e.g., from messages being communicated between the access point and client devices being serviced by the access point, and generates reports. The generated reports are communicated to a control device, e.g. a radio resource management (RRM) device. In some embodiments, generated reports include one or more of: i) message header information, e.g. resource unit (RU) allocation and/or use information and/or BSS color information, ii) collision reports, iii) received signal strength indicator (RSSI) reports, signal to noise ratio (SNR) reports, iv) interference reports; v) power information; vi) access point measurement information; and vii) access point control information.

  • Patent number: 11665362
Abstract: Innovations in syntax and semantics of coded picture buffer removal delay (“CPBRD”) values potentially simplify splicing operations. For example, a video encoder sets a CPBRD value for a current picture that indicates an increment value relative to a nominal coded picture buffer removal time of a preceding picture in decoding order, regardless of whether the preceding picture has a buffering period SEI message. The encoder can signal the CPBRD value according to a single-value approach in which a flag indicates how to interpret the CPBRD value, according to a two-value approach in which another CPBRD value (having a different interpretation) is also signaled, or according to a two-value approach that uses a flag and a delta value. A corresponding video decoder receives and parses the CPBRD value for the current picture. A splicing tool can perform simple concatenation operations to splice bitstreams using the CPBRD value for the current picture.

  • Patent number: 11663063
Abstract: Embodiments for reducing panic shutdown of components in a pipelined data processing system. Components are monitored for health, processing progress, and dependencies during normal system operation. A directed graph is generated showing non-circular dependencies of components in the pipeline. Deadlock of a particular component may or may not signal a panic condition depending on whether any of its presently downstream and depended on components are operating properly. The continuously monitored knowledge of proper operation of all downstream components is thus used to intelligently apply or defer panic alerts to keep the system operating uninterrupted from panic conditions that might soon or eventually be fixed by continued operation of the system pipeline.

  • Patent number: 11663416
Abstract: A software agent, that is used to assist in providing a service, receives communications from a set of users that are attempting to use the software agent. The communications include communications that are interacting with the software agent, and communications that are not interacting with the software agent. The software agent performs natural language processing on all communications to identify such things as user sentiment, user concerns or other items in the content of the messages, and also to identify actions taken by the users in order to obtain a measure of user satisfaction with the software agent. One or more action signals are then generated based upon the identified user satisfaction with the software agent.

  • Patent number: 11663370
Abstract: Described is a system and method for generating safety conditions for a cyber-physical system with state space S, action space A and trajectory data labelled as either safe or unsafe. In operation, the system receives inputs and ten minimizes loss functions to cause a neural network to become a barrier function. Based on the barrier function, the system can then determine if the cyber-physical system is entering an usafe state, such that if the cyber-physical system is entering the usafe state, then the cyber-physical system is caused to initiate a maneuver to position the cyber-physical system into a safe state.

  • Patent number: 11659838
Abstract: Quat-free surface treatment powders comprising a peroxide source, an acyl group donor and an alkalinity source are used to disinfect and/or sanitize hard surfaces. The surface treatment powders can be applied to a hard surface and left there for a period of time. The surface treatment powders are ambient moisture activated, which means that they can generate peracetic acid when a portion or all of the powder that is on the hard surface adsorbs water from the atmosphere. In addition or alternatively, the surface treatment powders are activated, i.e., generate peracetic acid through the incidental or purposeful addition of liquid thereto.

  • Patent number: 11664101
Abstract: A server computing device executing an electronic health records application (EHR) receives an indication from a client computing device that approval from a pharmacy benefits manager (PBM) with respect to prescribing a medication and/or treatment to a patient is requested. The EHR causes the server computing device to transmit an approval request to a computing system of the PBM, and monitors incoming messages for an approval message from the PBM. When the approval message is received, the EHR constructs a prescription for the medication and/or treatment for the patient and causes the prescription to be transmitted to a pharmacy.

  • Patent number: 11663127
Abstract: Techniques for managing a storage system involve flushing a target page in a cache device to a persistent storage device of the storage system. The techniques further involve releasing a resource storing a page descriptor of the target page to a resource pool. The resource pool is configured to provide resources to store page descriptors of pages to be flushed in the cache device. The techniques further involve: if it is determined that an auxiliary descriptor of the target page is located at a tail of a queue of auxiliary descriptors of the pages to be flushed, removing the auxiliary descriptor of the target page from the queue. The auxiliary descriptors of the pages to be flushed are configured to describe the page descriptors of the pages to be flushed. Accordingly, the page flushing performance of the storage system can be improved, thereby improving the input/output performance.

  • Patent number: 11660241
Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to a wheelchair power assist device configured to be installed, uninstalled and exchanged using an exchange tab welded to a wheelchair, and when installed to switch a motorized friction roller between engaged and disengaged modes with a wheelchair wheel, based on an engagement actuator configured to move the friction roller relative to the wheelchair. The friction roller may be operably coupled with an engagement member configured to move relative to the wheelchair. The engagement member may be moved by an extendable and retractable actuator shaft coupled with the wheelchair. A manual wheelchair may be converted to a powered wheelchair using a motorized friction roller for each wheelchair wheel while leaving an open space behind the wheelchair seating area, advantageously permitting the power assist devices to remain attached to a foldable wheelchair in either folded or unfolded configurations.
