Abstract: One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods are provided. Event information associated with a plurality of events may be identified. The plurality of events may be associated with first entities corresponding to a first entity type and second entities associated with a second entity type. A first network profile associated with the first entities and the second entities may be generated based upon the event information. An arrangement of particles corresponding to the first entities and the second entities may be generated. Charges associated with the particles may be determined based upon the first network profile. The particles may be rearranged to a second arrangement of particles based upon the charges. One or more clusters of particles in the second arrangement of particles may be identified. One or more coalition networks associated with fraudulent activity may be identified based upon the one or more clusters of particles.

Abstract: Techniques for managing a storage system involve cleaning up a persistent storage disk in a backup mode to increase a writing rate of the persistent storage disk. The techniques further involve creating a library partition in the cleaned persistent storage disk. The techniques further involve writing cache data in a volatile storage device into the library partition. Accordingly, in a storage device with only a single persistent storage disk, cache data in a volatile storage device can be written into the persistent storage disk at a relatively high writing rate, thereby achieving efficient memory persistence.

Abstract: One example method includes inserting a signal layer in an image, the signal layer indicating that a sensitive layer in the image is a candidate for encryption, creating a single layer archive file that includes the sensitive layer, encrypting the single layer archive file to create an encrypted layer, constructing a new image that includes the encrypted layer, inserting, in the new image, a decryptor layer that is operable to decrypt the encrypted layer, and designating the decryptor layer as an entry point of the new image.

Abstract: A method for is provided. The method can include receiving data characterizing a first measurement image having a first state and a first set of three-dimensional coordinate data corresponding to the first measurement image. The first measurement image can include two-dimensional image data. The method can also include receiving data characterizing at least one geometric dimension determined for the first measurement image. The method can further include receiving data characterizing a second measurement image having a second state and a second set of three-dimensional coordinate data corresponding to the second measurement image. The method can also include applying the first state of the first measurement image to the second measurement image. The method can further include displaying at least one second geometric dimension determined using the second set of three-dimensional coordinate data. Related systems performing the method are also provided.

Abstract: A system includes a crate and a deployer. The crate is configured to contain a plurality of elongated rods; the crate has a length, width and height. The deployer includes a bed frame upper surface, a crate support frame, a tilt mechanism and a scope mechanism. The crate support frame includes an attachment mechanism configured for removable attachment of the crate, wherein the crate support frame has a longitudinal extent aligned with the length of an attached crate. The tilt mechanism is configured to move the crate support frame between a horizontal position parallel to the bed frame upper surface and a vertical position normal to the bed frame upper surface. The scope mechanism is configured to move the crate support frame linearly along its longitudinal extent. A method of deploying a plurality of rods to a selected location is also described.

Abstract: A multi-axis hinge mechanism for a vehicle door. The multi-axis hinge mechanism moves the vehicle door laterally and vertically by means of multiple axial rotations. An actuator pivots the door hinges attaching the door to the vehicle to move the door away from the vehicle while a set of gears translates the motion of the actuator into a vertical rotation of the door.

Abstract: A packaged terminal air conditioner (PTAC) system includes a wall sleeve in which a chassis is mounted. The wall sleeve includes a bottom configured as a drain pan to collect condensate from the chilling components of the chassis. At a side wall of the wall sleeve there is an aperture configured to allow a person to insert a treatment pellet. The treatment pellet is water soluble and contains an antimicrobial component that prevent or inhibits the growth of biological material that could obstruct the drain system of the wall sleeve and PTAC. A rotating cover is positioned at the side wall to normally cover the aperture and prevent foreign objects from entering the PTAC, but the rotating cover can be rotated so that a hole in the rotating cover aligns with the aperture, allowing insertion of the treatment pellet.

Abstract: A method, electronic device, and a computer readable medium for managing backup data that includes determining an expiration time of backup data in a data set to be backed up in a source storage device, and determines a priority of the backup data to be migrated in a migration operation to be performed based on the expiration time. The method may also include migrating backup data with the same priority in the data set to be backed up to a target storage device to reduce a write amplification factor of a storage device, and prolong the service life of the storage device.

Abstract: A cap assembly includes an access member including a first section and a second section. The first section includes a connection portion that is attachable to an extraction device that extracts contents of a reservoir. The connection portion includes a first opening. The second section includes a second opening in fluid communication with the contents of the reservoir when the access member is secured to the reservoir. The cap assembly includes a valve member insertable into the access member so as to be in fluid communication with the first opening and the second opening and such that the valve member i) seals the contents of the reservoir at the first opening when the connection portion is not attached the extraction device, and ii) provides access to the contents of the reservoir through the first opening when the connection portion is attached to the extraction device.

Abstract: An integrated circuit device having insulated gate field effect transistors (IGFETs) having a plurality of horizontally disposed channels that can be vertically aligned above a substrate with each channel being surrounded by a gate structure has been disclosed. The integrated circuit device may include electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection circuit structures. The ESD protection circuit structures may be formed in regions other than the region that the IGFETs are formed as well as in the region that the IGFETs having a plurality of horizontally disposed channels that can be vertically aligned above a substrate with each channel being surrounded by a gate structure are formed. By forming ESD protection circuit structures in regions below the IGFETs, an older process technology may be used and device size may be decreased. Furthermore, planar IGFETs of FinFETs may be formed in other regions to decrease device size and improve costs.

Abstract: The present invention provides an electronic plumbing fixture fitting including a learning system and a reference system. The electronic plumbing fixture fitting includes a user input module and a processor. The user input module includes a mechanism to receive from the user numerical value(s) of parameter(s) for water to be delivered through a discharge outlet of the electronic plumbing fixture fitting (e.g., a temperature) and a mechanism to deliver to the user the numerical value(s) of the parameter(s) via the water delivered through the discharge outlet of the electronic plumbing fixture fitting. Additionally, the processor includes a mechanism to learn a range of the numerical value(s) of the parameter(s) from a minimum value of the parameter to a maximum value of the parameter (e.g., from a lowest achievable temperature to a highest achievable temperature).

Abstract: Systems and methods for starting an engine that may be started via two different electric machines are described. In one example, the method reserves an amount of torque that is based on a torque capability of a belt integrated starter/generator and the engine is started with the reserved torque if engine starting torque is greater than a torque capability of the belt integrated starter/generator.

Abstract: A label includes a recycled sloop type radio frequency identification (RFID) tag from a previously used label. The RFID tag is removed from the previous label by cutting the RFID tag from the previous label using a laser, die, or cutting wheel. The conductor antenna of the RFID tag can be cut to remove damaged portions or change operation of the RFID tag. A slot in the conductor antenna can be resized to tune the RFID tag to allow the RFID tag to be used for the same application use or a different application use. The label can include indicia such as machine readable indicia and human readable indicia. The extracted RFID tag can include portions of the previous label, which can be free of indicia.

The method comprises transmitting a request for a first partial identifier of a relay wireless private gateway by an application executing on a first wireless private gateway to a second wireless private gateway, receiving the first partial identifier, transmitting a request for a second partial identifier of the relay wireless private gateway to a third wireless private gateway, receiving the second partial identifier, concatenating the first partial identifier and the second partial identifier to form a complete identifier of the relay wireless private gateway by the application, and transmitting a request to establish a communication link with the relay wireless private gateway by the application to the relay wireless private gateway, wherein the request to establish the communication link comprises the complete identifier of the relay wireless private gateway.

Abstract: An aviation-related communication network includes a plurality of base stations configured to communicate with in-flight aircraft, a plurality of aviation-related communication network radios disposed on selected aircraft where the aviation-related communication network radios are configured to communicate with base stations of the aviation-related communication network via aviation-related communication network communication links using a first communication standard, and a first wireless access point on each of the selected aircraft to define a first wireless local area network on each of the selected aircraft. At least some of the selected aircraft include a second wireless local area network that defines a priority access network. Devices of the priority access network may be provided with priority access to bandwidth supplied by the aviation-related communication network relative to devices of the first wireless local area network.
